Exodus 8:16-18 ויאמר said יהוה And the LORD אל unto משׁה Moses, אמר Say אל unto אהרן Aaron, נטה Stretch out את מטך thy rod, והך and smite את עפר the dust הארץ of the land, והיה that it may become לכנם lice בכל throughout all ארץ the land מצרים׃ of Egypt.

17 H6213 ויעשׂו And they did H3651 כן so; H5186 ויט stretched out H175 אהרן for Aaron H853 את H3027 ידו his hand H4294 במטהו with his rod, H5221 ויך and smote H853 את H6083 עפר the dust H776 הארץ of the earth, H1961 ותהי and it became H3654 הכנם lice H120 באדם in man, H929 ובבהמה and in beast; H3605 כל all H6083 עפר the dust H776 הארץ of the land H1961 היה became H3654 כנים lice H3605 בכל throughout all H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

18 H6213 ויעשׂו did H3651 כן so H2748 החרטמים And the magicians H3909 בלטיהם with their enchantments H3318 להוציא to bring forth H853 את H3654 הכנים lice, H3808 ולא not: H3201 יכלו but they could H1961 ותהי so there were H3654 הכנם lice H120 באדם upon man, H929 ובבהמה׃ and upon beast.
