Esther 7:3-10

  3 H6030 ותען answered H635 אסתר Then Esther H4436 המלכה the queen H559 ותאמר and said, H518 אם If H4672 מצאתי I have found H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניך in thy sight, H4428 המלך O king, H518 ואם and if H5921 על it please H4428 המלך the king, H2895 טוב it please H5414 תנתן be given H5315 לי נפשׁי let my life H7596 בשׁאלתי me at my petition, H5971 ועמי and my people H1246 בבקשׁתי׃ at my request:

  4 H3588 כי For H4376 נמכרנו we are sold, H589 אני I H5971 ועמי and my people, H8045 להשׁמיד to be destroyed, H2026 להרוג to be slain, H6 ולאבד and to perish. H432 ואלו But if H5650 לעבדים for bondmen H8198 ולשׁפחות and bondwomen, H4376 נמכרנו we had been sold H2790 החרשׁתי I had held my tongue, H3588 כי although H369 אין could not H6862 הצר the enemy H7737 שׁוה countervail H5143 בנזק damage. H4428 המלך׃ the king's

  5 H559 ויאמר answered H4428 המלך Then the king H325 אחשׁורושׁ Ahasuerus H559 ויאמר and said H635 לאסתר unto Esther H4436 המלכה the queen, H4310 מי Who H1931 הוא is he, H2088 זה is he, H335 ואי and where H2088 זה is he, H1931 הוא is he, H834 אשׁר that H4390 מלאו durst presume H3820 לבו in his heart H6213 לעשׂות to do H3651 כן׃ so?

  6 H559 ותאמר said, H635 אסתר And Esther H376 אישׁ   H6862 צר   H341 ואויב and enemy H2001 המן Haman. H7451 הרע wicked H2088 הזה this H2001 והמן Then Haman H1204 נבעת was afraid H6440 מלפני before H4428 המלך the king H4436 והמלכה׃ and the queen.

  7 H4428 והמלך And the king H6965 קם arising H2534 בחמתו in his wrath H4960 ממשׁתה from the banquet H3196 היין of wine H413 אל into H1594 גנת garden: H1055 הביתן the palace H2001 והמן and Haman H5975 עמד stood up H1245 לבקשׁ to make request H5921 על for H5315 נפשׁו his life H635 מאסתר   H4436 המלכה the queen; H3588 כי for H7200 ראה he saw H3588 כי that H3615 כלתה determined H413 אליו against H7451 הרעה there was evil H854 מאת him by H4428 המלך׃ the king.

  8 H4428 והמלך Then the king H7725 שׁב returned H1594 מגנת   H1055 הביתן   H413 אל into H1004 בית the place H4960 משׁתה of the banquet H3196 היין of wine; H2001 והמן and Haman H5307 נפל was fallen H5921 על upon H4296 המטה the bed H834 אשׁר whereon H635 אסתר Esther H5921 עליה whereon H559 ויאמר Then said H4428 המלך the king, H1571 הגם also H3533 לכבושׁ Will he force H853 את   H4436 המלכה the queen H5973 עמי before H1004 בבית me in the house? H1697 הדבר As the word H3318 יצא went out H6310 מפי   H4428 המלך   H6440 ופני face. H2001 המן Haman's H2645 חפו׃ they covered

  9 H559 ויאמר said H2726 חרבונה And Harbonah, H259 אחד one H4480 מן of H5631 הסריסים the chamberlains, H6440 לפני before H4428 המלך the king, H1571 גם also, H2009 הנה Behold H6086 העץ the gallows H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה had made H2001 המן Haman H4782 למרדכי for Mordecai, H834 אשׁר who H1696 דבר had spoken H2896 טוב good H5921 על for H4428 המלך the king, H5975 עמד standeth H1004 בבית in the house H2001 המן of Haman. H1364 גבה high, H2572 חמשׁים fifty H520 אמה cubits H559 ויאמר said, H4428 המלך Then the king H8518 תלהו Hang H5921 עליו׃ him thereon.

  10 H8518 ויתלו So they hanged H853 את   H2001 המן Haman H5921 על on H6086 העץ the gallows H834 אשׁר that H3559 הכין he had prepared H4782 למרדכי for Mordecai. H2534 וחמת wrath H4428 המלך Then was the king's H7918 שׁככה׃ pacified.
