Deuteronomy 6:1-9 וזאת Now these המצוה the commandments, החקים the statutes, והמשׁפטים and the judgments, אשׁר which צוה commanded יהוה the LORD אלהיכם your God ללמד to teach אתכם לעשׂות you, that ye might do בארץ in the land אשׁר whither אתם ye עברים go שׁמה whither לרשׁתה׃ to possess

1 H2063 וזאת Now these H4687 המצוה the commandments, H2706 החקים the statutes, H4941 והמשׁפטים and the judgments, H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H3925 ללמד to teach H853 אתכם H6213 לעשׂות you, that ye might do H776 בארץ in the land H834 אשׁר whither H859 אתם ye H5674 עברים go H8033 שׁמה whither H3423 לרשׁתה׃ to possess

2 H4616 למען That H3372 תירא thou mightest fear H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H8104 לשׁמר to keep H853 את H3605 כל all H2708 חקתיו his statutes H4687 ומצותיו and his commandments, H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H859 אתה thee, thou, H1121 ובנך and thy son, H1121 ובן and thy son's H1121 בנך son, H3605 כל all H3117 ימי the days H2416 חייך of thy life; H4616 ולמען and that H748 יארכן may be prolonged. H3117 ימיך׃ thy days

3 H8085 ושׁמעת Hear H3478 ישׂראל therefore, O Israel, H8104 ושׁמרת and observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H834 אשׁר that H3190 ייטב it may be well H834 לך ואשׁר with thee, and that H7235 תרבון ye may increase H3966 מאד mightily, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר hath promised H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H1 אבתיך of thy fathers H776 לך ארץ thee, in the land H2100 זבת that floweth H2461 חלב with milk H1706 ודבשׁ׃ and honey.

4 H8085 שׁמע Hear, H3478 ישׂראל O Israel: H3068 יהוה The LORD H430 אלהינו our God H3068 יהוה LORD: H259 אחד׃ one

5 H157 ואהבת And thou shalt love H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 בכל with all H3824 לבבך thine heart, H3605 ובכל and with all H5315 נפשׁך thy soul, H3605 ובכל and with all H3966 מאדך׃ thy might.

6 H1961 והיו shall be H1697 הדברים words, H428 האלה And these H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום thee this day, H5921 על in H3824 לבבך׃ thine heart:

7 H8150 ושׁננתם And thou shalt teach them diligently H1121 לבניך unto thy children, H1696 ודברת and shalt talk H3427 בם בשׁבתך of them when thou sittest H1004 בביתך in thine house, H1980 ובלכתך and when thou walkest H1870 בדרך by the way, H7901 ובשׁכבך and when thou liest down, H6965 ובקומך׃ and when thou risest up.

8 H7194 וקשׁרתם And thou shalt bind H226 לאות them for a sign H5921 על upon H3027 ידך thine hand, H1961 והיו and they shall be H2903 לטטפת as frontlets H996 בין between H5869 עיניך׃ thine eyes.

9 H3789 וכתבתם And thou shalt write H5921 על them upon H4201 מזזות the posts H1004 ביתך of thy house, H8179 ובשׁעריך׃ and on thy gates.
