Deuteronomy 16 שׁמור Observe את חדשׁ the month האביב of Abib, ועשׂית and keep פסח the passover ליהוה unto the LORD אלהיך thy God: כי for בחדשׁ in the month האביב of Abib הוציאך brought thee forth יהוה the LORD אלהיך thy God ממצרים לילה׃ by night.

1 H8104 שׁמור Observe H853 את H2320 חדשׁ the month H24 האביב of Abib, H6213 ועשׂית and keep H6453 פסח the passover H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God: H3588 כי for H2320 בחדשׁ in the month H24 האביב of Abib H3318 הוציאך brought thee forth H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H4714 ממצרים H3915 לילה׃ by night.

2 H2076 וזבחת Thou shalt therefore sacrifice H6453 פסח the passover H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H6629 צאן of the flock H1241 ובקר and the herd, H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose H3068 יהוה the LORD H7931 לשׁכן to place H8034 שׁמו his name H8033 שׁם׃ there.

3 H3808 לא no H398 תאכל Thou shalt eat H5921 עליו with H2557 חמץ leavened bread H7651 שׁבעת it; seven H3117 ימים days H398 תאכל shalt thou eat H5921 עליו therewith, H4682 מצות unleavened bread H3899 לחם the bread H6040 עני of affliction; H3588 כי for H2649 בחפזון in haste: H3318 יצאת thou camest forth H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H4616 למען that H2142 תזכר thou mayest remember H853 את H3117 יום the day H3318 צאתך when thou camest forth H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3605 כל all H3117 ימי the days H2416 חייך׃ of thy life.

4 H3808 ולא And there shall be no H7200 יראה seen H7603 לך שׂאר leavened bread H3605 בכל with thee in all H1366 גבלך thy coast H7651 שׁבעת seven H3117 ימים days; H3808 ולא neither H3885 ילין remain all night H4480 מן shall there of H1320 הבשׂר the flesh, H834 אשׁר which H2076 תזבח thou sacrificedst H6153 בערב at even, H3117 ביום day H7223 הראשׁון the first H1242 לבקר׃ until the morning.

5 H3808 לא not H3201 תוכל Thou mayest H2076 לזבח sacrifice H853 את H6453 הפסח the passover H259 באחד within any H8179 שׁעריך of thy gates, H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן׃ giveth

6 H3588 כי H518 אם H413 אל at H4725 המקום the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H7931 לשׁכן to place H8034 שׁמו his name H8033 שׁם in, there H2076 תזבח thou shalt sacrifice H853 את H6453 הפסח the passover H6153 בערב at even, H935 כבוא at the going down H8121 השׁמשׁ of the sun, H4150 מועד at the season H3318 צאתך that thou camest forth H4714 ממצרים׃

7 H1310 ובשׁלת And thou shalt roast H398 ואכלת and eat H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose: H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H6437 בו ופנית and thou shalt turn H1242 בבקר in the morning, H1980 והלכת and go H168 לאהליך׃ unto thy tents.

8 H8337 שׁשׁת Six H3117 ימים days H398 תאכל thou shalt eat H4682 מצות unleavened bread: H3117 וביום day H7637 השׁביעי and on the seventh H6116 עצרת a solemn assembly H3068 ליהוה to the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God: H3808 לא no H6213 תעשׂה thou shalt do H4399 מלאכה׃ work

9 H7651 שׁבעה Seven H7620 שׁבעת weeks H5608 תספר shalt thou number H2490 לך מהחל unto thee: begin H2770 חרמשׁ the sickle H7054 בקמה to the corn. H2490 תחל from thou beginnest H5608 לספר to number H7651 שׁבעה the seven H7620 שׁבעות׃ weeks

10 H6213 ועשׂית And thou shalt keep H2282 חג the feast H7620 שׁבעות of weeks H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H4530 מסת with a tribute H5071 נדבת of a freewill offering H3027 ידך of thine hand, H834 אשׁר which H5414 תתן thou shalt give H834 כאשׁר according as H1288 יברכך hath blessed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God

11 H8055 ושׂמחת And thou shalt rejoice H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H859 אתה thou, H1121 ובנך and thy son, H1323 ובתך and thy daughter, H5650 ועבדך and thy manservant, H519 ואמתך and thy maidservant, H3881 והלוי and the Levite H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁעריך within thy gates, H1616 והגר and the stranger, H3490 והיתום and the fatherless, H490 והאלמנה and the widow, H834 אשׁר that H7130 בקרבך among H4725 במקום you, in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר hath chosen H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H7931 לשׁכן to place H8034 שׁמו his name H8033 שׁם׃ there.

12 H2142 וזכרת And thou shalt remember H3588 כי that H5650 עבד a bondman H1961 היית thou wast H4714 במצרים in Egypt: H8104 ושׁמרת and thou shalt observe H6213 ועשׂית and do H853 את H2706 החקים statutes. H428 האלה׃ these

13 H2282 חג the feast H5521 הסכת of tabernacles H6213 תעשׂה Thou shalt observe H7651 לך שׁבעת seven H3117 ימים days, H622 באספך after that thou hast gathered H1637 מגרנך in thy corn H3342 ומיקבך׃ and thy wine:

14 H8055 ושׂמחת And thou shalt rejoice H2282 בחגך in thy feast, H859 אתה thou, H1121 ובנך and thy son, H1323 ובתך and thy daughter, H5650 ועבדך and thy manservant, H519 ואמתך and thy maidservant, H3881 והלוי and the Levite, H1616 והגר the stranger, H3490 והיתום and the fatherless, H490 והאלמנה and the widow, H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁעריך׃ within thy gates.

15 H7651 שׁבעת Seven H3117 ימים days H2287 תחג shalt thou keep a solemn feast H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose: H3068 יהוה the LORD H3588 כי because H1288 יברכך shall bless H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 בכל thee in all H8393 תבואתך thine increase, H3605 ובכל and in all H4639 מעשׂה the works H3027 ידיך of thine hands, H1961 והיית therefore thou shalt H389 אך surely H8056 שׂמח׃ rejoice.

16 H7969 שׁלושׁ Three H6471 פעמים times H8141 בשׁנה in a year H7200 יראה appear H3605 כל shall all H2138 זכורך thy males H853 את H6440 פני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר he shall choose; H2282 בחג in the feast H4682 המצות of unleavened bread, H2282 ובחג and in the feast H7620 השׁבעות of weeks, H2282 ובחג and in the feast H5521 הסכות of tabernacles: H3808 ולא and they shall not H7200 יראה appear H853 את H6440 פני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H7387 ריקם׃ empty:

17 H376 אישׁ Every man H4979 כמתנת as he is able, H3027 ידו as he is able, H1293 כברכת according to the blessing H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן׃ he hath given

18 H8199 שׁפטים Judges H7860 ושׁטרים and officers H5414 תתן shalt thou make H3605 לך בכל thee in all H8179 שׁעריך thy gates, H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן giveth H7626 לך לשׁבטיך thee, throughout thy tribes: H8199 ושׁפטו and they shall judge H853 את H5971 העם the people H4941 משׁפט judgment. H6664 צדק׃ with just

19 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5186 תטה wrest H4941 משׁפט judgment; H3808 לא thou shalt not H5234 תכיר respect H6440 פנים persons, H3808 ולא neither H3947 תקח take H7810 שׁחד a gift: H3588 כי for H7810 השׁחד a gift H5786 יעור doth blind H5869 עיני the eyes H2450 חכמים of the wise, H5557 ויסלף and pervert H1697 דברי the words H6662 צדיקם׃ of the righteous.

20 H6664 צדק H6664 צדק H7291 תרדף shalt thou follow, H4616 למען that H2421 תחיה thou mayest live, H3423 וירשׁת and inherit H853 את H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן׃ giveth

21 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5193 תטע plant H842 לך אשׁרה thee a grove H3605 כל of any H6086 עץ trees H681 אצל near H4196 מזבח unto the altar H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H834 אשׁר which H6213 תעשׂה׃ thou shalt make

22 H3808 ולא Neither H6965 תקים shalt thou set thee up H4676 לך מצבה image; H834 אשׁר which H8130 שׂנא hateth. H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God
