Amos 4:7-12 וגם And also אנכי I מנעתי have withheld מכם from את הגשׁם the rain בעוד you, when yet שׁלשׁה three חדשׁים months לקציר to the harvest: והמטרתי and I caused it to rain על upon עיר city, אחת one ועל upon עיר city: אחת another לא and caused it not to rain אמטיר and caused it not to rain חלקה piece אחת one תמטר was rained upon, וחלקה and the piece אשׁר whereupon לא not תמטיר it rained עליה whereupon תיבשׁ׃ withered.

8 H5128 ונעו wandered H8147 שׁתים So two H7969 שׁלשׁ three H5892 ערים cities H413 אל unto H5892 עיר city, H259 אחת one H8354 לשׁתות to drink H4325 מים water; H3808 ולא but they were not H7646 ישׂבעו satisfied: H3808 ולא yet have ye not H7725 שׁבתם returned H5704 עדי unto H5002 נאם me, saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

9 H5221 הכיתי I have smitten H853 אתכם H7711 בשׁדפון you with blasting H3420 ובירקון and mildew: H7235 הרבות increased, H1593 גנותיכם when your gardens H3754 וכרמיכם and your vineyards H8384 ותאניכם and your fig trees H2132 וזיתיכם and your olive trees H398 יאכל devoured H1501 הגזם the palmerworm H3808 ולא yet have ye not H7725 שׁבתם returned H5704 עדי unto H5002 נאם me, saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

10 H7971 שׁלחתי I have sent H1698 בכם דבר among you the pestilence H1870 בדרך after the manner H4714 מצרים of Egypt: H2026 הרגתי have I slain H2719 בחרב with the sword, H970 בחוריכם your young men H5973 עם and have taken away H7628 שׁבי and have taken away H5483 סוסיכם your horses; H5927 ואעלה to come up H889 באשׁ and I have made the stink H4264 מחניכם of your camps H639 ובאפכם unto your nostrils: H3808 ולא yet have ye not H7725 שׁבתם returned H5704 עדי unto H5002 נאם me, saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

11 H2015 הפכתי I have overthrown H4114 בכם כמהפכת overthrew H430 אלהים of you, as God H853 את H5467 סדם Sodom H853 ואת H6017 עמרה and Gomorrah, H1961 ותהיו and ye were H181 כאוד as a firebrand H5337 מצל plucked H8316 משׂרפה out of the burning: H3808 ולא yet have ye not H7725 שׁבתם returned H5704 עדי unto H5002 נאם me, saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

12 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H6213 אעשׂה will I do H3478 לך ישׂראל unto thee, O Israel: H6118 עקב because H3588 כי because H2063 זאת this H6213 אעשׂה I will do H3559 לך הכון unto thee, prepare H7125 לקראת to meet H430 אלהיך thy God, H3478 ישׂראל׃ O Israel.
