2 Kings 7:1-8

  1 H559 ויאמר said, H477 אלישׁע Then Elisha H8085 שׁמעו Hear H1697 דבר ye the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6256 כעת about this time H4279 מחר Tomorrow H5429 סאה a measure H5560 סלת of fine flour H8255 בשׁקל for a shekel, H5429 וסאתים and two measures H8184 שׂערים of barley H8255 בשׁקל for a shekel, H8179 בשׁער in the gate H8111 שׁמרון׃ of Samaria.

  2 H6030 ויען answered H7991 השׁלישׁ Then a lord H834 אשׁר whose H4428 למלך the king H8172 נשׁען leaned H5921 על on H3027 ידו hand H853 את   H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God, H559 ויאמר and said, H2009 הנה Behold, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6213 עשׂה would make H699 ארבות windows H8064 בשׁמים in heaven, H1961 היהיה be? H1697 הדבר thing H2088 הזה might this H559 ויאמר And he said, H2005 הנכה   H7200 ראה thou shalt see H5869 בעיניך with thine eyes, H8033 ומשׁם thereof. H3808 לא but shalt not H398 תאכל׃ eat

  3 H702 וארבעה four H376 אנשׁים men H1961 היו And there were H6879 מצרעים leprous H6607 פתח at the entering in H8179 השׁער of the gate: H559 ויאמרו and they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H7453 רעהו another, H4100 מה Why H587 אנחנו we H3427 ישׁבים sit H6311 פה here H5704 עד until H4191 מתנו׃ we die?

  4 H518 אם If H559 אמרנו we say, H935 נבוא We will enter H5892 העיר into the city, H7458 והרעב then the famine H5892 בעיר in the city, H4191 ומתנו and we shall die H8033 שׁם there: H518 ואם and if H3427 ישׁבנו we sit H6311 פה still here, H4191 ומתנו we die H6258 ועתה also. Now H1980 לכו therefore come, H5307 ונפלה and let us fall H413 אל unto H4264 מחנה the host H758 ארם of the Syrians: H518 אם if H2421 יחינו they save us alive, H2421 נחיה we shall live; H518 ואם and if H4191 ימיתנו they kill H4191 ומתנו׃ us, we shall but die.

  5 H6965 ויקומו And they rose up H5399 בנשׁף in the twilight, H935 לבוא to go H413 אל unto H4264 מחנה the camp H758 ארם of the Syrians: H935 ויבאו and when they were come H5704 עד to H7097 קצה the uttermost part H4264 מחנה of the camp H758 ארם of Syria, H2009 והנה behold, H369 אין no H8033 שׁם there. H376 אישׁ׃ man

  6 H136 ואדני For the Lord H8085 השׁמיע to hear H853 את   H4264 מחנה had made the host H758 ארם of the Syrians H6963 קול a noise H7393 רכב of chariots, H6963 קול and a noise H5483 סוס of horses, H6963 קול the noise H2428 חיל host: H1419 גדול of a great H559 ויאמרו and they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H251 אחיו another, H2009 הנה Lo, H7936 שׂכר hath hired H5921 עלינו against H4428 מלך the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את   H4428 מלכי us the kings H2850 החתים of the Hittites, H853 ואת   H4428 מלכי and the kings H4714 מצרים of the Egyptians, H935 לבוא to come H5921 עלינו׃ upon

  7 H6965 ויקומו Wherefore they arose H5127 וינוסו and fled H5399 בנשׁף in the twilight, H5800 ויעזבו and left H853 את   H168 אהליהם their tents, H853 ואת   H5483 סוסיהם and their horses, H853 ואת   H2543 חמריהם and their asses, H4264 המחנה even the camp H834 כאשׁר as H1931 היא it H5127 וינסו and fled H413 אל for H5315 נפשׁם׃ their life.

  8 H935 ויבאו came H6879 המצרעים lepers H428 האלה And when these H5704 עד to H7097 קצה the uttermost part H4264 המחנה of the camp, H935 ויבאו they went H413 אל into H168 אהל tent, H259 אחד one H398 ויאכלו and did eat H8354 וישׁתו and drink, H5375 וישׂאו and carried H8033 משׁם thence H3701 כסף silver, H2091 וזהב and gold, H899 ובגדים and raiment, H1980 וילכו and went H2934 ויטמנו and hid H7725 וישׁבו and came again, H935 ויבאו and entered H413 אל into H168 אהל tent, H312 אחר another H5375 וישׂאו and carried H8033 משׁם thence H1980 וילכו and went H2934 ויטמנו׃ and hid
