2 Kings 5:8-14 ויהי And it was כשׁמע had heard אלישׁע when Elisha אישׁ the man האלהים of God כי that קרע had rent מלך the king ישׂראל of Israel את בגדיו his clothes, וישׁלח that he sent אל to המלך the king, לאמר saying, למה Wherefore קרעת hast thou rent בגדיך thy clothes? יבא let him come נא now אלי to וידע me, and he shall know כי that ישׁ there is נביא a prophet בישׂראל׃ in Israel.

H935 יבא let him come H4994 נא now H413 אלי to H3045 וידע me, and he shall know H3588 כי that H3426 ישׁ there is H5030 נביא a prophet H3478 בישׂראל׃ in Israel.

9 H935 ויבא came H5283 נעמן So Naaman H5483 בסוסו with his horses H7393 וברכבו and with his chariot, H5975 ויעמד and stood H6607 פתח at the door H1004 הבית of the house H477 לאלישׁע׃ of Elisha.

10 H7971 וישׁלח sent H413 אליו unto H477 אלישׁע And Elisha H4397 מלאך a messenger H559 לאמר him, saying, H1980 הלוך Go H7364 ורחצת and wash H7651 שׁבע seven H6471 פעמים times, H3383 בירדן in Jordan H7725 וישׁב shall come again H1320 בשׂרך and thy flesh H2891 לך וטהר׃ to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

11 H7107 ויקצף was wroth, H5283 נעמן But Naaman H1980 וילך and went away, H559 ויאמר and said, H2009 הנה Behold, H559 אמרתי I thought, H413 אלי to H3318 יצא H3318 יצוא H5975 ועמד me, and stand, H7121 וקרא and call H8034 בשׁם on the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיו his God, H5130 והניף and strike H3027 ידו his hand H413 אל over H4725 המקום the place, H622 ואסף and recover H6879 המצרע׃ the leper.

12 H3808 הלא not H2896 טוב better H71 אבנה Abana H6554 ופרפר and Pharpar, H5104 נהרות rivers H1834 דמשׂק of Damascus, H3605 מכל than all H4325 מימי the waters H3478 ישׂראל of Israel? H3808 הלא may I not H7364 ארחץ wash H2891 בהם וטהרתי in them, and be clean? H6437 ויפן So he turned H1980 וילך and went away H2534 בחמה׃ in a rage.

13 H5066 ויגשׁו came near, H5650 עבדיו And his servants H1696 וידברו and spoke H413 אליו unto H559 ויאמרו him, and said, H1 אבי My father, H1697 דבר thing, H1419 גדול thee great H5030 הנביא the prophet H1696 דבר had bid H413 אליך had bid H3808 הלוא wouldest thou not H6213 תעשׂה have done H637 ואף how much rather H3588 כי then, when H559 אמר he saith H413 אליך to H7364 רחץ thee, Wash, H2891 וטהר׃ and be clean?

14 H3381 וירד Then went he down, H2881 ויטבל and dipped H3383 בירדן in Jordan, H7651 שׁבע himself seven H6471 פעמים times H1697 כדבר according to the saying H376 אישׁ of the man H430 האלהים of God: H7725 וישׁב came again H1320 בשׂרו and his flesh H1320 כבשׂר like unto the flesh H5288 נער child, H6996 קטן of a little H2891 ויטהר׃ and he was clean.
