2 Kings 24:2-20 וישׁלח sent יהוה And the LORD בו את גדודי against him bands כשׂדים of the Chaldees, ואת גדודי and bands ארם of the Syrians, ואת גדודי and bands מואב of the Moabites, ואת גדודי and bands בני of the children עמון of Ammon, וישׁלחם and sent ביהודה them against Judah להאבידו to destroy כדבר it, according to the word יהוה of the LORD, אשׁר which דבר he spoke ביד by עבדיו his servants הנביאים׃ the prophets.

4 H1571 וגם And also H1818 דם blood H5355 הנקי for the innocent H834 אשׁר that H8210 שׁפך he shed: H4390 וימלא for he filled H853 את H3389 ירושׁלם Jerusalem H1818 דם blood; H5355 נקי with innocent H3808 ולא not H14 אבה would H3068 יהוה which the LORD H5545 לסלח׃ pardon.

8 H1121 בן old H8083 שׁמנה eighteen H6240 עשׂרה eighteen H8141 שׁנה years H3078 יהויכין Jehoiachin H4427 במלכו when he began to reign, H7969 ושׁלשׁה three H2320 חדשׁים months. H4427 מלך and he reigned H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem H8034 ושׁם name H517 אמו And his mother's H5179 נחשׁתא Nehushta, H1323 בת the daughter H494 אלנתן of Elnathan H3389 מירושׁלם׃

12 H3318 ויצא went out H3078 יהויכין And Jehoiachin H4428 מלך the king H3063 יהודה of Judah H5921 על to H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H1931 הוא he, H517 ואמו and his mother, H5650 ועבדיו and his servants, H8269 ושׂריו and his princes, H5631 וסריסיו and his officers: H3947 ויקח took H853 אתו H4428 מלך and the king H894 בבל of Babylon H8141 בשׁנת year H8083 שׁמנה him in the eighth H4427 למלכו׃ of his reign.

15 H1540 ויגל And he carried away H853 את H3078 יהויכין Jehoiachin H894 בבלה to Babylon, H853 ואת H517 אם mother, H4428 המלך and the king's H853 ואת H802 נשׁי wives, H4428 המלך and the king's H853 ואת H5631 סריסיו and his officers, H853 ואת H193 אולי H776 הארץ of the land, H1980 הוליך carried H1473 גולה he into captivity H3389 מירושׁלם H894 בבלה׃ to Babylon.

16 H853 ואת H3605 כל And all H582 אנשׁי H2428 החיל of might, H7651 שׁבעת seven H505 אלפים thousand, H2796 והחרשׁ and craftsmen H4525 והמסגר and smiths H505 אלף a thousand, H3605 הכל all H1368 גבורים strong H6213 עשׂי apt H4421 מלחמה for war, H935 ויביאם brought H4428 מלך even them the king H894 בבל of Babylon H1473 גולה captive H894 בבלה׃ to Babylon.

17 H4427 וימלך made H4428 מלך And the king H894 בבל of Babylon H853 את H4983 מתניה Mattaniah H1730 דדו his father's brother H8478 תחתיו in his stead, H5437 ויסב and changed H853 את H8034 שׁמו his name H6667 צדקיהו׃ to Zedekiah.

18 H1121 בן old H6242 עשׂרים twenty H259 ואחת and one H8141 שׁנה years H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H4427 במלכו when he began to reign, H259 ואחת eleven H6240 עשׂרה eleven H8141 שׁנה years H4427 מלך and he reigned H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem. H8034 ושׁם name H517 אמו And his mother's H2537 חמיטל Hamutal, H1323 בת the daughter H3414 ירמיהו of Jeremiah H3841 מלבנה׃

19 H6213 ויעשׂ And he did H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה had done. H3079 יהויקים׃ Jehoiakim

20 H3588 כי For H5921 על through H639 אף the anger H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1961 היתה it came to pass H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem H3063 וביהודה and Judah, H5704 עד until H7993 השׁלכו H853 אתם H5921 מעל from H6440 פניו his presence, H4775 וימרד rebelled H6667 צדקיהו that Zedekiah H4428 במלך against the king H894 בבל׃ of Babylon.
