2 Kings 17:26 ויאמרו Wherefore they spoke למלך to the king אשׁור of Assyria, לאמר saying, הגוים The nations אשׁר which הגלית thou hast removed, ותושׁב and placed בערי in the cities שׁמרון of Samaria, לא not ידעו know את משׁפט the manner אלהי of the God הארץ of the land: וישׁלח therefore he hath sent בם את האריות lions והנם among them, and, behold, ממיתים they slay אותם כאשׁר them, because אינם not ידעים they know את משׁפט the manner אלהי of the God הארץ׃ of the land.
