2 Kings 10:18-28 ויקבץ gathered יהוא And Jehu את כל all העם the people ויאמר together, and said אלהם unto אחאב them, Ahab עבד served את הבעל Baal מעט a little; יהוא Jehu יעבדנו shall serve הרבה׃ him much.

18 H6908 ויקבץ gathered H3058 יהוא And Jehu H853 את H3605 כל all H5971 העם the people H559 ויאמר together, and said H413 אלהם unto H256 אחאב them, Ahab H5647 עבד served H853 את H1168 הבעל Baal H4592 מעט a little; H3058 יהוא Jehu H5647 יעבדנו shall serve H7235 הרבה׃ him much.

19 H6258 ועתה Now H3605 כל me all H5030 נביאי the prophets H1168 הבעל of Baal, H3605 כל all H5647 עבדיו his servants, H3605 וכל and all H3548 כהניו his priests; H7121 קראו therefore call H413 אלי unto H376 אישׁ let none H408 אל let none H6485 יפקד be wanting: H3588 כי for H2077 זבח sacrifice H1419 גדול I have a great H1168 לי לבעל to Baal; H3605 כל whosoever H834 אשׁר whosoever H6485 יפקד shall be wanting, H3808 לא he shall not H2421 יחיה live. H3058 ויהוא But Jehu H6213 עשׂה did H6122 בעקבה in subtlety, H4616 למען to the intent H6 האביד that he might destroy H853 את H5647 עבדי the worshipers H1168 הבעל׃ of Baal.

20 H559 ויאמר said, H3058 יהוא And Jehu H6942 קדשׁו Proclaim H6116 עצרה a solemn assembly H1168 לבעל for Baal. H7121 ויקראו׃ And they proclaimed

21 H7971 וישׁלח sent H3058 יהוא And Jehu H3605 בכל through all H3478 ישׂראל Israel: H935 ויבאו came, H3605 כל and all H5647 עבדי the worshipers H1168 הבעל of Baal H3808 ולא so that there was not H7604 נשׁאר left H376 אישׁ a man H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא not. H935 בא came H935 ויבאו And they came H1004 בית into the house H1168 הבעל of Baal; H4390 וימלא was full H1004 בית and the house H1168 הבעל of Baal H6310 פה from one end H6310 לפה׃ to another.

22 H559 ויאמר And he said H834 לאשׁר unto him that H5921 על over H4458 המלתחה the vestry, H3318 הוצא Bring forth H3830 לבושׁ vestments H3605 לכל for all H5647 עבדי the worshipers H1168 הבעל of Baal. H3318 ויצא And he brought them forth H4403 להם המלבושׁ׃ vestments.

23 H935 ויבא went, H3058 יהוא And Jehu H3082 ויהונדב and Jehonadab H1121 בן the son H7394 רכב of Rechab, H1004 בית into the house H1168 הבעל of Baal, H559 ויאמר and said H5647 לעבדי unto the worshipers H1168 הבעל of Baal, H2664 חפשׂו Search, H7200 וראו and look H6435 פן that H3426 ישׁ there be H6311 פה here H5973 עמכם with H5650 מעבדי you none of the servants H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H5647 עבדי the worshipers H1168 הבעל of Baal H905 לבדם׃ only.

24 H935 ויבאו And when they went in H6213 לעשׂות to offer H2077 זבחים sacrifices H5930 ועלות and burnt offerings, H3058 ויהוא Jehu H7760 שׂם appointed H2351 לו בחוץ without, H8084 שׁמנים fourscore H376 אישׁ men H559 ויאמר and said, H376 האישׁ any H834 אשׁר whom H4422 ימלט escape, H4480 מן of H376 האנשׁים the men H834 אשׁר H589 אני I H935 מביא have brought H5921 על into H3027 ידיכם your hands H5315 נפשׁו his life H8478 תחת for H5315 נפשׁו׃ the life

25 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H3615 ככלתו as soon as he had made an end H6213 לעשׂות of offering H5930 העלה the burnt offering, H559 ויאמר said H3058 יהוא that Jehu H7323 לרצים to the guard H7991 ולשׁלשׁים and to the captains, H935 באו Go in, H5221 הכום slay H376 אישׁ them; let none H408 אל them; let none H3318 יצא come forth. H5221 ויכום And they smote H6310 לפי them with the edge H2719 חרב of the sword; H7993 וישׁלכו cast out, H7323 הרצים and the guard H7991 והשׁלשׁים and the captains H1980 וילכו and went H5704 עד to H5892 עיר the city H1004 בית of the house H1168 הבעל׃ of Baal.

26 H3318 ויצאו And they brought forth H853 את H4676 מצבות the images H1004 בית out of the house H1168 הבעל of Baal, H8313 וישׂרפוה׃ and burned

27 H5422 ויתצו And they broke down H853 את H4676 מצבת the image H1168 הבעל of Baal, H5422 ויתצו and broke down H853 את H1004 בית the house H1168 הבעל of Baal, H7760 וישׂמהו and made H4163 למחראות it a draught house H5704 עד unto H3117 היום׃ this day.

28 H8045 וישׁמד destroyed H3058 יהוא Thus Jehu H853 את H1168 הבעל Baal H3478 מישׂראל׃
