2 Chronicles 34:15-28

  15 H6030 ויען answered H2518 חלקיהו And Hilkiah H559 ויאמר and said H413 אל to H8227 שׁפן Shaphan H5608 הסופר the scribe, H5612 ספר the book H8451 התורה of the law H4672 מצאתי I have found H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD. H5414 ויתן delivered H2518 חלקיהו And Hilkiah H853 את   H5612 הספר the book H413 אל to H8227 שׁפן׃ Shaphan.

  16 H935 ויבא carried H8227 שׁפן And Shaphan H853 את   H5612 הספר the book H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king, H7725 וישׁב and brought H5750 עוד back again, H853 את   H4428 המלך the king H1697 דבר word H559 לאמר saying, H3605 כל All H834 אשׁר that H5414 נתן was committed H3027 ביד to thy servants, H5650 עבדיך to thy servants, H1992 הם they H6213 עשׂים׃ do

  17 H5413 ויתיכו And they have gathered together H853 את   H3701 הכסף the money H4672 הנמצא that was found H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H5414 ויתנוהו and have delivered H5921 על it into H3027 יד the hand H6485 המפקדים of the overseers, H5921 ועל and to H3027 יד the hand H6213 עושׂי of the workmen. H4399 המלאכה׃ of the workmen.

  18 H5046 ויגד told H8227 שׁפן Then Shaphan H5608 הסופר the scribe H4428 למלך the king, H559 לאמר saying, H5612 ספר me a book. H5414 נתן hath given H2518 לי חלקיהו Hilkiah H3548 הכהן the priest H7121 ויקרא read H8227 בו שׁפן And Shaphan H6440 לפני it before H4428 המלך׃ the king.

  19 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H8085 כשׁמע had heard H4428 המלך when the king H853 את   H1697 דברי the words H8451 התורה of the law, H7167 ויקרע that he rent H853 את   H899 בגדיו׃ his clothes.

  20 H6680 ויצו commanded H4428 המלך And the king H853 את   H2518 חלקיהו Hilkiah, H853 ואת   H296 אחיקם and Ahikam H1121 בן the son H8227 שׁפן of Shaphan, H853 ואת   H5658 עבדון and Abdon H1121 בן the son H4318 מיכה of Micah, H853 ואת   H8227 שׁפן and Shaphan H5608 הסופר the scribe, H853 ואת   H6222 עשׂיה and Asaiah H5650 עבד a servant H4428 המלך of the king's, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  21 H1980 לכו Go, H1875 דרשׁו inquire of H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H1157 בעדי for H1157 ובעד me, and for H7604 הנשׁאר them that are left H3478 בישׂראל in Israel H3063 וביהודה and in Judah, H5921 על concerning H1697 דברי the words H5612 הספר of the book H834 אשׁר that H4672 נמצא is found: H3588 כי for H1419 גדולה great H2534 חמת the wrath H3068 יהוה of the LORD H834 אשׁר that H5413 נתכה is poured out H5921 בנו על upon us, because H834 אשׁר upon us, because H3808 לא have not H8104 שׁמרו kept H1 אבותינו our fathers H853 את   H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H6213 לעשׂות to do H3605 ככל after all H3789 הכתוב that is written H5921 על in H5612 הספר book. H2088 הזה׃ this

  22 H1980 וילך went H2518 חלקיהו And Hilkiah, H834 ואשׁר and that H4428 המלך the king H413 אל to H2468 חלדה Huldah H5031 הנביאה the prophetess, H802 אשׁת the wife H7967 שׁלם of Shallum H1121 בן the son H8445 תוקהת   H1121 בן the son H2641 חסרה of Hasrah, H8104 שׁומר keeper H899 הבגדים of the wardrobe; H1931 והיא (now she H3427 יושׁבת dwelt H3389 בירושׁלם in Jerusalem H4932 במשׁנה in the college:) H1696 וידברו and they spoke H413 אליה to H2063 כזאת׃ her to that

  23 H559 ותאמר And she answered H3541 להם כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H559 אמרו Tell H376 לאישׁ ye the man H834 אשׁר that H7971 שׁלח sent H853 אתכם   H413 אלי׃ you to

  24 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H2005 הנני   H935 מביא I will bring H7451 רעה evil H5921 על upon H4725 המקום place, H2088 הזה this H5921 ועל and upon H3427 יושׁביו the inhabitants H853 את   H3605 כל thereof, all H423 האלות the curses H3789 הכתובות that are written H5921 על in H5612 הספר the book H834 אשׁר which H7121 קראו they have read H6440 לפני before H4428 מלך the king H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah:

  25 H8478 תחת   H834 אשׁר   H5800 עזבוני they have forsaken H6999 ויקטירו me, and have burned incense H430 לאלהים gods, H312 אחרים unto other H4616 למען that H3707 הכעיסני they might provoke me to anger H3605 בכל with all H4639 מעשׂי the works H3027 ידיהם of their hands; H5413 ותתך shall be poured out H2534 חמתי therefore my wrath H4725 במקום place, H2088 הזה upon this H3808 ולא and shall not H3518 תכבה׃ be quenched.

  26 H413 ואל And as for H4428 מלך the king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H7971 השׁלח who sent H853 אתכם   H1875 לדרושׁ you to inquire H3068 ביהוה of the LORD, H3541 כה so H559 תאמרו shall ye say H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1697 הדברים the words H834 אשׁר which H8085 שׁמעת׃ thou hast heard;

  27 H3282 יען Because H7401 רך was tender, H3824 לבבך thine heart H3665 ותכנע and thou didst humble thyself H6440 מלפני before H430 אלהים God, H8085 בשׁמעך when thou heardest H853 את   H1697 דבריו his words H5921 על against H4725 המקום place, H2088 הזה this H5921 ועל and against H3427 ישׁביו the inhabitants H3665 ותכנע thereof, and humbledst thyself H6440 לפני before H7167 ותקרע me, and didst rend H853 את   H899 בגדיך thy clothes, H1058 ותבך and weep H6440 לפני before H1571 וגם also, H589 אני me; I H8085 שׁמעתי have even heard H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  28 H2005 הנני   H622 אספך I will gather H413 אל thee to H1 אבתיך thy fathers, H622 ונאספת and thou shalt be gathered H413 אל to H6913 קברתיך thy grave H7965 בשׁלום in peace, H3808 ולא neither H7200 תראינה see H5869 עיניך shall thine eyes H3605 בכל all H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H589 אני I H935 מביא will bring H5921 על upon H4725 המקום place, H2088 הזה this H5921 ועל and upon H3427 ישׁביו the inhabitants H7725 וישׁיבו of the same. So they brought H853 את   H4428 המלך the king H1697 דבר׃ word
