1 Kings 19:9-21 ויבא And he came שׁם thither אל unto המערה a cave, וילן and lodged שׁם there; והנה and, behold, דבר the word יהוה of the LORD אליו to ויאמר him, and he said לו מה unto him, What לך פה doest thou here, אליהו׃ Elijah?

10 H559 ויאמר And he said, H7065 קנא H7065 קנאתי H3069 ליהוה H430 אלהי God H6635 צבאות of hosts: H3588 כי for H5800 עזבו have forsaken H1285 בריתך thy covenant, H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את H4196 מזבחתיך thine altars, H2040 הרסו thrown down H853 ואת H5030 נביאיך thy prophets H2026 הרגו and slain H2719 בחרב with the sword; H3498 ואותר am left; H589 אני and I, H905 לבדי I only, H1245 ויבקשׁו and they seek H853 את H5315 נפשׁי my life, H3947 לקחתה׃ to take it away.

11 H559 ויאמר And he said, H3318 צא Go forth, H5975 ועמדת and stand H2022 בהר upon the mount H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD. H2009 והנה And, behold, H3068 יהוה the LORD H5674 עבר passed by, H7307 ורוח wind H1419 גדולה and a great H2389 וחזק and strong H6561 מפרק rent H2022 הרים the mountains, H7665 ומשׁבר and broke in pieces H5553 סלעים the rocks H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD; H3808 לא not H7307 ברוח in the wind: H3068 יהוה the LORD H310 ואחר and after H7307 הרוח the wind H7494 רעשׁ an earthquake; H3808 לא not H7494 ברעשׁ in the earthquake: H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD

12 H310 ואחר And after H7494 הרעשׁ the earthquake H784 אשׁ a fire; H3808 לא not H784 באשׁ in the fire: H3068 יהוה the LORD H310 ואחר and after H784 האשׁ the fire H6963 קול voice. H1827 דממה a still H1851 דקה׃ small

13 H1961 ויהי And it was H8085 כשׁמע heard H452 אליהו when Elijah H3874 וילט that he wrapped H6440 פניו his face H155 באדרתו in his mantle, H3318 ויצא and went out, H5975 ויעמד and stood H6607 פתח in the entering in H4631 המערה of the cave. H2009 והנה And, behold, H413 אליו unto H6963 קול a voice H559 ויאמר him, and said, H4100 מה What H6311 לך פה doest thou here, H452 אליהו׃ Elijah?

16 H853 ואת H3058 יהוא And Jehu H1121 בן the son H5250 נמשׁי of Nimshi H4886 תמשׁח shalt thou anoint H4428 למלך king H5921 על over H3478 ישׂראל Israel: H853 ואת H477 אלישׁע and Elisha H1121 בן the son H8202 שׁפט of Shaphat H65 מאבל מחולה H4886 תמשׁח shalt thou anoint H5030 לנביא prophet H8478 תחתיך׃ in thy room.

17 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H4422 הנמלט him that escapeth H2719 מחרב the sword H2371 חזאל of Hazael H4191 ימית slay: H3058 יהוא shall Jehu H4422 והנמלט and him that escapeth H2719 מחרב from the sword H3058 יהוא of Jehu H4191 ימית slay. H477 אלישׁע׃ shall Elisha

18 H7604 והשׁארתי Yet I have left H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H7651 שׁבעת seven H505 אלפים thousand H3605 כל all H1290 הברכים the knees H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא have not H3766 כרעו bowed H1168 לבעל unto Baal, H3605 וכל and every H6310 הפה mouth H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא hath not H5401 נשׁק׃ kissed

19 H1980 וילך So he departed H8033 משׁם thence, H4672 וימצא and found H853 את H477 אלישׁע Elisha H1121 בן the son H8202 שׁפט of Shaphat, H1931 והוא who H2790 חרשׁ plowing H8147 שׁנים twelve H6240 עשׂר twelve H6776 צמדים yoke H6440 לפניו before H1931 והוא him, and he H8147 בשׁנים with the twelfth: H6240 העשׂר with the twelfth: H5674 ויעבר passed H452 אליהו and Elijah H413 אליו by H7993 וישׁלך him, and cast H155 אדרתו his mantle H413 אליו׃ upon

20 H5800 ויעזב And he left H853 את H1241 הבקר the oxen, H7323 וירץ and ran H310 אחרי after H452 אליהו Elijah, H559 ויאמר and said, H5401 אשׁקה kiss H4994 נא Let me, I pray thee, H1 לאבי my father H517 ולאמי and my mother, H1980 ואלכה unto him, Go H310 אחריך H559 ויאמר thee. 21 H7725 וישׁב And he returned back H310 מאחריו from H3947 ויקח him, and took H853 את H6776 צמד a yoke H1241 הבקר of oxen, H2076 ויזבחהו and slew H3627 ובכלי with the instruments H1241 הבקר of the oxen, H1310 בשׁלם them, and boiled H1320 הבשׂר their flesh H5414 ויתן and gave H5971 לעם unto the people, H398 ויאכלו and they did eat. H6965 ויקם Then he arose, H1980 וילך and went H310 אחרי after H452 אליהו Elijah, H8334 וישׁרתהו׃ and ministered
