  39 H7200 וירא saw H3605 כל And when all H5971 העם the people H5307 ויפלו they fell H5921 על on H6440 פניהם their faces: H559 ויאמרו and they said, H3068 יהוה The LORD, H1931 הוא he H430 האלהים the God; H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1931 הוא he H430 האלהים׃ the God.
  40 H559 ויאמר said H452 אליהו And Elijah H8610 להם תפשׂו unto them, Take H853 את   H5030 נביאי the prophets H1168 הבעל of Baal; H376 אישׁ one H408 אל let not H4422 ימלט escape. H1992 מהם   H8610 ויתפשׂום And they took H3381 ויורדם brought them down H452 אליהו them: and Elijah H413 אל to H5158 נחל the brook H7028 קישׁון Kishon, H7819 וישׁחטם and slew H8033 שׁם׃ them there.
  41 H559 ויאמר said H452 אליהו And Elijah H256 לאחאב unto Ahab, H5927 עלה Get thee up, H398 אכל eat H8354 ושׁתה and drink; H3588 כי for H6963 קול a sound H1995 המון of abundance H1653 הגשׁם׃ of rain.
  42 H5927 ויעלה went up H256 אחאב So Ahab H398 לאכל to eat H8354 ולשׁתות and to drink. H452 ואליהו And Elijah H5927 עלה went up H413 אל to H7218 ראשׁ the top H3760 הכרמל of Carmel; H1457 ויגהר and he cast himself down H776 ארצה upon the earth, H7760 וישׂם and put H6440 פניו his face H996 בין between H1290 ברכו׃ his knees,
  43 H559 ויאמר And said H413 אל to H5288 נערו his servant, H5927 עלה Go up H4994 נא now, H5027 הבט look H1870 דרך toward H3220 ים the sea. H5927 ויעל And he went up, H5027 ויבט and looked, H559 ויאמר and said, H369 אין nothing. H3972 מאומה nothing. H559 ויאמר And he said, H7725 שׁב Go again H7651 שׁבע seven H6471 פעמים׃ times.
  44 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7637 בשׁבעית at the seventh time, H559 ויאמר that he said, H2009 הנה Behold, H5645 עב cloud H6996 קטנה a little H3709 ככף hand. H376 אישׁ like a man's H5927 עלה there ariseth H3220 מים out of the sea, H559 ויאמר And he said, H5927 עלה Go up, H559 אמר say H413 אל unto H256 אחאב Ahab, H631 אסר Prepare H3381 ורד and get thee down, H3808 ולא thee not. H6113 יעצרכה stop H1653 הגשׁם׃ that the rain
  45 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H5704 עד in the meanwhile, H3541 כה   H5704 ועד   H3541 כה   H8064 והשׁמים that the heaven H6937 התקדרו was black H5645 עבים with clouds H7307 ורוח and wind, H1961 ויהי and there was H1653 גשׁם rain. H1419 גדול a great H7392 וירכב rode, H256 אחאב And Ahab H1980 וילך and went H3157 יזרעאלה׃ to Jezreel.
  46 H3027 ויד And the hand H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1961 היתה was H413 אל on H452 אליהו Elijah; H8151 וישׁנס and he girded up H4975 מתניו his loins, H7323 וירץ and ran H6440 לפני before H256 אחאב Ahab H5704 עד to H935 באכה the entrance H3157 יזרעאלה׃ of Jezreel.
