1 Kings 11:29-38

  29 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H6256 בעת time H1931 ההיא at that H3379 וירבעם when Jeroboam H3318 יצא went out H3389 מירושׁלם   H4672 וימצא found H853 אתו   H281 אחיה Ahijah H7888 השׁילני the Shilonite H5030 הנביא that the prophet H1870 בדרך him in the way; H1931 והוא and he H3680 מתכסה had clad himself H8008 בשׂלמה garment; H2319 חדשׁה with a new H8147 ושׁניהם and they two H905 לבדם alone H7704 בשׂדה׃ in the field:

  30 H8610 ויתפשׂ caught H281 אחיה And Ahijah H8008 בשׂלמה garment H2319 החדשׁה the new H834 אשׁר that H5921 עליו on H7167 ויקרעה him, and rent H8147 שׁנים it twelve H6240 עשׂר it twelve H7168 קרעים׃ pieces:

  31 H559 ויאמר And he said H3379 לירבעם to Jeroboam, H3947 קח Take H6235 לך עשׂרה thee ten H7168 קרעים pieces: H3588 כי for H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2005 הנני   H7167 קרע I will rend H853 את   H4467 הממלכה the kingdom H3027 מיד out of the hand H8010 שׁלמה of Solomon, H5414 ונתתי and will give H853 לך את   H6235 עשׂרה ten H7626 השׁבטים׃ tribes

  32 H7626 והשׁבט tribe H259 האחד one H1961 יהיה (But he shall have H4616 לו למען   H5650 עבדי   H1732 דוד   H4616 ולמען   H3389 ירושׁלם   H5892 העיר the city H834 אשׁר which H977 בחרתי I have chosen H3605 בה מכל out of all H7626 שׁבטי the tribes H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel:)

  33 H3282 יען Because H834 אשׁר that H5800 עזבוני they have forsaken H7812 וישׁתחוו me, and have worshiped H6253 לעשׁתרת Ashtoreth H430 אלהי the goddess H6722 צדנין   H3645 לכמושׁ Chemosh H430 אלהי the god H4124 מואב of the Moabites, H4445 ולמלכם and Milcom H430 אלהי the god H1121 בני of the children H5983 עמון of Ammon, H3808 ולא and have not H1980 הלכו walked H1870 בדרכי in my ways, H6213 לעשׂות to do H3477 הישׁר right H5869 בעיני in mine eyes, H2708 וחקתי and my statutes H4941 ומשׁפטי and my judgments, H1732 כדוד as David H1 אביו׃ his father.

  34 H3808 ולא Howbeit I will not H3947 אקח take H853 את   H3605 כל the whole H4467 הממלכה kingdom H3027 מידו out of his hand: H3588 כי but H5387 נשׂיא him prince H7896 אשׁתנו I will make H3605 כל all H3117 ימי the days H2416 חייו of his life H4616 למען   H1732 דוד   H5650 עבדי   H834 אשׁר because H977 בחרתי I chose, H853 אתו   H834 אשׁר   H8104 שׁמר he kept H4687 מצותי my commandments H2708 וחקתי׃ and my statutes:

  35 H3947 ולקחתי But I will take H4410 המלוכה the kingdom H3027 מיד   H1121 בנו   H5414 ונתתיה and will give H853 לך את   H6235 עשׂרת it unto thee, ten H7626 השׁבטים׃ tribes.

  36 H1121 ולבנו And unto his son H5414 אתן will I give H7626 שׁבט tribe, H259 אחד one H4616 למען that H1961 היות may have H5216 ניר a light H1732 לדויד David H5650 עבדי my servant H3605 כל always H3117 הימים always H6440 לפני before H3389 בירושׁלם me in Jerusalem, H5892 העיר the city H834 אשׁר which H977 בחרתי I have chosen H7760 לי לשׂום me to put H8034 שׁמי my name H8033 שׁם׃ there.

  37 H853 ואתך   H3947 אקח And I will take H4427 ומלכת thee, and thou shalt reign H3605 בכל according to all H834 אשׁר that H183 תאוה desireth, H5315 נפשׁך thy soul H1961 והיית and shalt be H4428 מלך king H5921 על over H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel.

  38 H1961 והיה And it shall be, H518 אם if H8085 תשׁמע thou wilt hearken unto H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6680 אצוך I command H1980 והלכת thee, and wilt walk H1870 בדרכי in my ways, H6213 ועשׂית and do H3477 הישׁר right H5869 בעיני in my sight, H8104 לשׁמור to keep H2708 חקותי my statutes H4687 ומצותי and my commandments, H834 כאשׁר as H6213 עשׂה did; H1732 דוד David H5650 עבדי my servant H1961 והייתי that I will be H5973 עמך with H1129 ובניתי thee, and build H1004 לך בית house, H539 נאמן thee a sure H834 כאשׁר as H1129 בניתי I built H1732 לדוד for David, H5414 ונתתי and will give H853 לך את   H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel
