Psalms 142

ECB(i) 1 On Comprehension: By David: A Prayer when he is in the cave. My voice to Yah Veh, I cry; my voice to Yah Veh, I seek charism: 2 I pour my meditation at his face; I tell my tribulation to his face: 3 when my spirit languishes within me, then you know my path: in the way I walk, they hide a snare for me. 4 I look to the right and see; no one recognizes me: retreat destructs from me; no one seeks of my soul. 5 I cry to you, O Yah Veh; I say, You are my refuge and my allotment in the land of the living; 6 hearken to my shouting for I am mightily languished: rescue me from my pursuers for they are stronger than I: 7 bring my soul from the lockup to spread hands to your name; the just surround me; when you deal with me.
