O spread hands to Yah Veh; call on his name; make known his exploits among the people:
sing to him; psalm to him; meditate of all his marvels:
halal in his holy name; the heart of them who seek Yah Veh cheers.
Seek Yah Veh and his strength; seek his face continually:
remember the marvels he worked - his omens and the judgments of his mouth
O you seed of Abraham his servant, you sons of Yaaqov his chosen.
He - Yah Veh our Elohim; his judgments are in all the earth:
he remembers his covenant eternally - the word he misvahed to a thousand generations
- which he cut with Abraham and his oath to Yischaq:
and stood the same to Yaaqov for a statute and to Yisra El for an eternal covenant:
saying, I give you the land of Kenaan the cord of your inheritance
- when they were few in number - yes, very few and sojourned therein:
and they went from one goyim to another from sovereigndom to another people:
he allowed no human to wrong them; yes, he reproved sovereigns for their sakes;
saying, Neither touch not my anointed nor vilify my prophets!
He called for a famine on the land; he broke the whole rod of bread;
he sent a man at their face - Yoseph, who was sold for a servant
whose feet they humbled with fetters - laid his soul in iron.
Until the time his word arrived the saying of Yah Veh refined him;
the sovereign sent and loosed him - the sovereign of the people, and loosed him;
he set him adoni of his house and sovereign of all his chattel;
to bind his governors at his soul; and enwisen his elders.
Yisra El also came to Misrayim; and Yaaqov sojourned in the land of Ham;
and his people became mighty fruitbearing - mightier than their tribulators:
he turned their heart to hate his people - to deceive his servants;
he sent Mosheh his servant and Aharon whom he chose:
they set words of his signs among them and omens in the land of Ham:
he sent darkness and it darkened; they rebelled not against his word;
he turned their waters into blood and deathified their fish;
their land teemed with frogs in the chambers of their sovereigns.
He said, and swarms and stingers arrived in all their borders:
he gave them hail for downpour and flaming fire in their land:
he smote their vines and their fig trees and broke the trees of their borders.
He said, and the locusts and cankerworms arrived - inummerable;
and ate all the herbs in their land and devoured the fruit of their soil:
he smote all the firstbirthed in their land - the firstfruits of all their strength:
he brought them forth with silver and gold; and not one among their scions faltered.
Misrayim cheered when they departed for the dread of them fell upon them:
he spread a cloud for a covering and fire to light in the night:
they asked, and he brought quails and satiated them with the bread of the heavens:
he opened the rock and the waters flowed: they walked in the parch as a river:
- for he remembered his holy word and Abraham his servant;
and he brought forth his people rejoicing and his chosen shouting;
and gave them the lands of the goyim; and they possessed the toil of the nations
- to guard his statutes and guard his torah. Halalu Yah.
