THE YAH HUDIYM DERIDED
And so be it, Sanballat hears we build the wall and he inflames and abounds his vexation and he derides the Yah Hudiym: 2 and he says at the face of his brothers and the men of valour of Shomeron, and says, What work these languid Yah Hudiym? Forsake they to themselves? Sacrifice they? Finish they in a day? Enliven they the stones from the heaps of the dust that are burnt? 3 And Tobi Yah the Ammoniy is by him, and he says, Whatever they build, if a fox ascends, even he splits their stone wall. 4 Hear, O our Elohim; for we are disrespected: turn their reproach on their own head and give them for plunder in the land of captivity: 5 and neither cover their perversity nor wipe away their sin from your face: for they vex you in front of the builders. 6 And we build the wall; and all the wall is bound to the half thereof: for the people have a heart to work.
