Matthew 25

ECB(i) 1
THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS
Then the sovereigndom of the heavens is likened to ten virgins who take their lamps and go to meet the bridegroom: 2 and five are thoughtful, and five are foolish: 3 the foolish take their lamps, and take no olive oil with them: 4 but the thoughtful take olive oil in their vessels with their lamps: 5 but the bridegroom takes his time and they all slumber and sleep: 6 and at midnight there becomes a cry, Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go meet him! 7 Then all those virgins rise and adorn their lamps: 8 and the foolish say to the thoughtful, Give us of your olive oil, for our lamps are quenched. 9 And the thoughtful answer, wording, Not so; lest ever there is not sufficient for us and you: but go rather to them who sell and market for yourselves. 10 And while they go to market, the bridegroom comes; and the prepared enter with him to the marriage: and they shut the portal. 11 Afterward the rest of the virgins also come, wording, Adoni, Adoni, open to us. 12 And he answers, saying, Amen! I word to you, I know you not. 13 So watch: for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of humanity comes. 14
THE INVESTMENT TEST
For exactly as a human going abroad, he calls his own servants, and delivers his holdings to them: 15 and indeed he gives one five talent weights, another two, and another one; - each according to his several dynamis; and straightway goes abroad. 16 And he who took the five talent weights goes and works them, and produces another five talent weights: 17 and likewise he who took two, also gains another two: 18 but he who took one, goes and digs in the soil and secretes the silver of his adoni. 19 After a vast time the adoni of those servants comes and reckons words with them. 20 And he who took five talent weights comes and offers another five talent weights; wording, Adoni, you delivered five talent weights to me: behold, I gained another five talent weights beside them. 21 His adoni says to him, Well done, you good and trustworthy servant: you are trustworthy over a little; I seat you over much: enter the cheer of your adoni. 22 And he who took two talent weights comes and says, Adoni, you delivered two talent weights to me: behold, I gained another two talent weights beside them. 23 His adoni says to him, Well done, good and trustworthy servant; you are trustworthy over a little, I seat you over much: enter the cheer of your adoni. 24 He who took the one talent weight comes and says, Adoni, I know you, that you are a hard human, harvesting where you spore not, and gathering together where you scatter not: 25 and being awestricken, I went and secreted your talent weight in the soil: behold, you have your own. 26 His adoni answers him, saying, You evil and slothful servant, you know I harvest where I spore not, and gather together where I scatter not: 27 so you needed to put my silver to the exchangers, and then at my coming I had received my own with interest. 28 So take the talent weight from him, and give to him who has ten talent weights. 29 For to everyone who has, is given; and he has super abundance: but from him who has not is taken away even what he has. 30 And eject the useless servant into outer darkness: there becomes weeping and gnashing of teeth. 31
YAH SHUA TESTS THE GOYIM
Whenever the Son of humanity comes in his glory - with all the holy angels, then he sits on the throne of his glory: 32 and all goyim gather in front of him: and he sets them apart one from another, exactly as a shepherd sets apart his sheep from the goats: 33 and indeed he sets the sheep at his right and the goats at the left. 34 Then the sovereign says to them at his right, Come, you eulogized of my Father, inherit the sovereigndom prepared for you from the foundation of the cosmos: 35 for I famished, and you gave me eats; I thirsted, and you gave me drink; a stranger, and you gathered me in; 36 naked, and you arrayed me; frail, and you visited me; in a guardhouse, and you came to me. 37 Then the just answer him, wording, Adonay, When saw we you famishing, and nourished you? Or thirsting, and gave you drink? 38 When saw we you a stranger, and gathered you in? Or naked, and arrayed you? 39 Or when saw we you frail? Or in a guardhouse, and came to you? 40 And the sovereign answers them, saying, Amen! I word to you, As you did to one of the least of these my brothers, you did to me. 41 Then he also says to them at the left, Depart from me, you cursed, into eternal fire, prepared for Diabolos and his angels: 42 for I famished, and you gave me no eats; I thirsted, and you gave me no drink; 43 a stranger, and you gathered me not in; naked, and you arrayed me not; frail, and in a guardhouse, and you visited me not. 44 Then they also answer him, wording, Adonay, when saw we you famishing or thirsting? Or a stranger or naked or frail or in a guardhouse and ministered not to you? 45 Then he answers them, wording, Amen! I word to you, As you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me: 46 and these go to eternal punishment: but the just to life eternal.
