21 And the sons of Reu Ben and the sons of Gad and the half scion of Menash Sheh answer and word to the heads of the thousands of Yisra El,
22 El of elohim - Yah Veh El of elohim - Yah Veh - he knows - and Yisra El he knows - if in rebellion - if in treason against Yah Veh you save us not this day
23 - if we build us a sacrifice altar to turn from after Yah Veh, - if to holocaust a holocaust or offering - if to work shelamim thereon Yah Veh himself beseeches.
24 And if we work not concerning this word, saying, Tomorrow your sons say to our sons, saying, What have you to do with Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El?
25 for Yah Veh gave Yarden for a border between us and between you, you sons of Reu Ben and sons of Gad; you have no allotment in Yah Veh: thus your sons cause our sons to cease by not awing Yah Veh.
26 So we say, We now work to build us a sacrifice altar, neither for holocaust nor for sacrifice:
27 but to be a witness between us and between you and our generations after us; to serve the service of Yah Veh at his face with our holocausts and with our sacrifices and with our shelamim; that your sons not say to our sons tomorrow, You have no allotment in Yah Veh.
28 So say we, so be it, when they say to us or to our generations tomorrow, that we say, See the pattern of the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh our fathers worked - neither for holocausts nor for sacrifices; but as a witness between us and between you.
29 Far be it that we rebel against Yah Veh and turn this day from after Yah Veh to build a sacrifice altar for holocausts for offerings or for sacrifices apart from the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh our Elohim at the face of his tabernacle.
30 And when Pinechas the priest and the hierarchs of the witness and heads of the thousands of Yisra El with him hear the words the sons of Reu Ben and the sons of Gad and the sons of Menash Sheh word, it well-pleases their eyes.
31 And Pinechas the son of El Azar the priest says to the sons of Reu Ben and to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Menash Sheh, This day we perceive that Yah Veh is among us; because you treasoned not this treason against Yah Veh: then you have rescued the sons of Yisra El from the hand of Yah Veh.
