GEDAL YAH EXECUTED
And so be it, in the seventh month, Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah the son of Eli Shama of the seed of the sovereigndom, and the rabbis of the sovereign with ten men, go to Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam to Mispeh; and there they eat bread together in Mispeh. 2 And Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah with the ten men rise and smite Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword; and execute him whom the sovereign of Babel made overseer over the land. 3 And Yishma El smites all the Yah Hudiym with him - with Gedal Yah at Mispeh - with the Kesediym they found there and the men of war.
