Deuteronomy 16

ECB(i) 1
THE TORAH ON PREPARING THE PASACH Guard the month of Abib and work the pasach to Yah Veh your Elohim: for in the month of Abib, Yah Veh your Elohim brought you from Misrayim by night. 2 And sacrifice the pasach to Yah Veh your Elohim, of the flock and the oxen, in the place Yah Veh chooses to tabernacle his name there. 3 Eat no fermentation with it; seven days, eat matsah, the bread of humiliation; for you came from the land of Misrayim in haste: so that you remember the day you came from the land of Misrayim all the days of your life. 4 And no yeast is seen with you in all your border seven days; and none of the flesh you sacrifice the first day at evening, stays overnight all night until the morning. 5 You cannot sacrifice the pasach within one of the portals, Yah Veh your Elohim gives you: 6 but at the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses to tabernacle his name - there you sacrifice the pasach at evening at the going down of the sun, at the season you came from Misrayim. 7 And stew and eat in the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses: and turn your face in the morning and go to your tents. 8 Six days you eat matsah: and the seventh day becomes an abstinence to Yah Veh your Elohim - work no work. 9
THE TORAH ON THE CELEBRATION OF WEEKS Scribe seven weeks to youselves: begin to scribe the seven weeks from when you begin the sickle to the stalks: 10 and work the celebration of weeks to Yah Veh your Elohim voluntarily with a voluntary of your hand, which you give as Yah Veh your Elohim blesses you: 11 and cheer at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim - you and your son and your daughter and your servant and your maid and the Leviy within your portals and the sojourner and the orphan and the widow among you, in the place Yah Veh your Elohim chooses to tabernacle his name. 12 And remember, you were a servant in Misrayim: and guard and work these statutes. 13
THE TORAH ON THE CELEBRATION OF SUKKOTH/BRUSH ARBORS Work the celebration of Sukkoth/Brush Arbors seven days after you ingather your threshingfloor and your trough: 14 and cheer in your celebration - you and your son and your daughter and your servant and your maid and the Leviy, the sojourner and the orphan and the widow within your portals. 15 Celebrate seven days to Yah Veh your Elohim in the place Yah Veh chooses: because Yah Veh your Elohim blesses you in all your produce and in all the works of your hands - only cheerful. 16 Three times in a year have all your males be seen at the face of Yah Veh your Elohim in the place he chooses; in the celebration of matsah and in the celebration of weeks and in the celebration of Sukkoth/Brush Arbors: that they not be seen empty at the face of Yah Veh: 17 every man - with the gift of his hand according to the blessing Yah Veh your Elohim gave you. 18
THE TORAH ON SETTING JUDGES AND OFFICERS Give yourselves judges and officers in all your portals, which Yah Veh your Elohim gives you throughout your scions: to judge the people with judgment of justness. 19 Neither deviate judgment nor recognize faces nor take a bribe: for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the just. 20 Justness - pursue justness, that you live and possess the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you. THE TORAH ON IDOLATRY 21 Neither plant an asherah of any trees beside the sacrifice altar of Yah Veh your Elohim which you work, 22 nor raise a monolith; which Yah Veh your Elohim hates.
