Luke 14:8-10

Coverdale^{(i) 8} Whan thou art bydde of eny man to a weddynge, syt not downe in the hyest rowme, lest a more honorable man the thou be bydde of him, ⁹ and he that bade both the and him, come & saye vnto ye: geue this ma rowme, and thou the begynne with shame to take ye lowest rowme. ¹⁰ But rather wha thou art bydde, go and syt in ye lowest rowme, that wha he that bade the, cometh, he maye saye vnto the: Frende, syt vp hyer: then shalt thou haue worshipe in the presence of them that syt at the table.
