Zechariah

  1   In   the H8066 eighth H2320 month,   in   the H8147 second H8141 year   of H1867 Darius,   came   the H1697 word   of H3068 Jehovah   unto H2148 Zechariah   the H1121 son   of H1296 Berechiah,   the H1121 son   of H5714 Iddo,   the H5030 prophet, H559 saying,   2 H3068 Jehovah   was H7110 sore H7107 displeased   with   your H1 fathers.   3   Therefore H559 say   thou   unto   them,   Thus H559 saith H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts: H7725 Return   unto   me, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts,   and   I   will H7725 return   unto   you, H559 saith H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts.   4   Be   ye   not   as   your H1 fathers,   unto   whom   the H7223 former H5030 prophets H7121 cried, H559 saying,   Thus H559 saith H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts, H7725 Return   ye   now   from   your H7451 evil H1870 ways,   and   from   your H7451 evil H4611 doings:   but   they   did   not H8085 hear,   nor H7181 hearken   unto   me, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah.   5   Your H1 fathers,   where   are   they?   and   the H5030 prophets,   do   they H2421 live   for H5769 ever?   6   But   my H1697 words   and   my H2706 statutes,   which   I H6680 commanded   my H5650 servants   the H5030 prophets,   did   they   not H5381 overtake   your H1 fathers?   and   they H7725 turned   and H559 said,   Like   as H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts H2161 thought   to H6213 do   unto   us,   according   to   our H1870 ways,   and   according   to   our H4611 doings,   so   hath   he H6213 dealt   with   us.   7   Upon   the H702 four   and H6242 twentieth H3117 day   of   the H6249 eleventh H2320 month,   which   is   the H2320 month H7627 Shebat,   in   the H8147 second H8141 year   of H1867 Darius,   came   the H1697 word   of H3068 Jehovah   unto H2148 Zechariah   the H1121 son   of H1296 Berechiah,   the H1121 son   of H5714 Iddo,   the H5030 prophet, H559 saying,   8   I H7200 saw   in   the H3915 night,   and,   behold,   a H376 man H7392 riding   upon   a H122 red H5483 horse,   and   he H5975 stood   among   the H1918 myrtle-trees   that   were   in   the H4699 bottom;   and H310 behind   him   there   were H5483 horses, H122 red, H8320 sorrel,   and H3836 white.   9   Then H559 said   I,   O   my H113 lord,   what   are   these?   And   the H4397 angel   that H1696 talked   with   me H559 said   unto   me,   I   will H7200 show   thee   what   these   are.   10   And   the H376 man   that H5975 stood   among   the H1918 myrtle-trees H6030 answered   and H559 said,   These   are   they   whom H3068 Jehovah   hath H7971 sent   to H1980 walk   to   and   fro   through   the H776 earth.   11   And   they H6030 answered   the H4397 angel   of H3068 Jehovah   that H5975 stood   among   the H1918 myrtle-trees,   and H559 said,   We   have   walked   to   and H1980 fro   through   the H776 earth,   and,   behold,   all   the H776 earth   sitteth H3427 still,   and   is   at H8252 rest.   12   Then   the H4397 angel   of H3068 Jehovah H6030 answered   and H559 said,   O H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts,   how   long   wilt   thou   not   have H7355 mercy   on H3389 Jerusalem   and   on   the H5892 cities   of H3063 Judah,   against   which   thou   hast   had H2194 indignation   these   threescore   and H7657 ten H8141 years?   13   And H3068 Jehovah H6030 answered   the H4397 angel   that H1696 talked   with   me   with H2896 good H1697 words,   even H5150 comfortable H1697 words.   14   So   the H4397 angel   that H1696 talked   with   me H559 said   unto   me, H7121 Cry   thou, H559 saying,   Thus H559 saith H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts:   I   am H7065 jealous   for H3389 Jerusalem   and   for H6726 Zion   with   a H1419 great H7068 jealousy.   15   And   I   am H1419 very H7110 sore H7107 displeased   with   the H1471 nations   that   are   at H7600 ease;   for   I   was   but   a H4592 little H7107 displeased,   and   they H5826 helped   forward   the H7451 affliction.   16   Therefore   thus H559 saith H3068 Jehovah:   I   am H7725 returned   to H3389 Jerusalem   with H7356 mercies;   my H1004 house   shall   be H1129 built   in   it, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts,   and   a H6957 line   shall   be   stretched H5186 forth   over H3389 Jerusalem.   17 H7121 Cry   yet   again, H559 saying,   Thus H559 saith H3068 Jehovah   of H6635 hosts:   My H5892 cities   shall   yet H6327 overflow   with H2896 prosperity;   and H3068 Jehovah   shall   yet H5162 comfort H6726 Zion,   and   shall   yet H977 choose H3389 Jerusalem.   18   And   I   lifted H5375 up   mine H5869 eyes,   and H7200 saw,   and,   behold, H702 four H7161 horns.   19   And   I H559 said   unto   the H4397 angel   that H1696 talked   with   me,   What   are   these?   And   he H559 answered   me,   These   are   the H7161 horns   which   have H2219 scattered H3063 Judah, H3478 Israel,   and H3389 Jerusalem.   20   And H3068 Jehovah H7200 showed   me H702 four H2796 smiths.   21   Then H559 said   I,   What H935 come   these   to H6213 do?   And   he H559 spake, H559 saying,   These   are   the H7161 horns   which H2219 scattered H3063 Judah,   so H6310 that   no H376 man   did   lift H5375 up   his H7218 head;   but   these   are H935 come   to H2729 terrify   them,   to   cast H3034 down   the H7161 horns   of   the H1471 nations,   which   lifted H5375 up   their H7161 horn   against   the H776 land   of H3063 Judah   to H2219 scatter   it.
