Job 22

ASV_Strongs(i)
H6030 Then answered H464 Eliphaz H8489 the Temanite, H559 and said,
H1397 Can a man H5532 be profitable H410 unto God? H3588 Surely H7919 he that is wise H5532 is profitable unto himself.
H2656 Is it any pleasure H7706 to the Almighty, H6663 that thou art righteous? H1215 Or is it gain H1870 to him, that thou makest thy ways H8552 perfect?
H3374 Is it for thy fear H3198 of him that he reproveth H935 thee, That he entereth H4941 with thee into judgment?
H7451 Is not thy wickedness H7227 great? H7093 Neither is there any end H5771 to thine iniquities.
H2254 For thou hast taken pledges H251 of thy brother H2600 for nought, H6584 And stripped H6174 the naked H899 of their clothing.
H4325 Thou hast not given water H5889 to the weary H8248 to drink, H4513 And thou hast withholden H3899 bread H7457 from the hungry.
H2220 But as for the mighty H376 man, H776 he had the earth; H5375 And the honorable man, H3427 he dwelt in it.
H7971 Thou hast sent H490 widows H7387 away empty, H2220 And the arms H3490 of the fatherless H1792 have been broken.
H6341 Therefore snares H5439 are round about H6597 thee, And sudden H6343 fear H926 troubleth thee,
H2822 Or darkness, H7200 so that thou canst not see, H8229 And abundance H4325 of waters H3680 cover thee.
H433 Is not God H1363 in the height H8064 of heaven? H7200 And behold H7218 the height H3556 of the stars, H7311 how high they are!
H559 And thou sayest, H410 What doth God H3045 know? H8199 Can he judge H6205 through the thick darkness?
H5645 Thick clouds H5643 are a covering H7200 to him, so that he seeth H1980 not; And he walketh H2329 on the vault H8064 of heaven.
H8104 Wilt thou keep H5769 the old H734 way H205 Which wicked H4962 men H1869 have trodden?
H7059 Who were snatched away H6256 before their time, H3247 Whose foundation H3332 was poured H5104 out as a stream,
H559 Who said H410 unto God, H5493 Depart H7706 from us; And, What can the Almighty H6466 do for us?
H4390 Yet he filled H1004 their houses H2896 with good H6098 things: But the counsel H7563 of the wicked H7368 is far from me.
H6662 The righteous H7200 see H8055 it, and are glad; H5355 And the innocent H3932 laugh them to scorn,
H518 Saying, Surely H7009 they that did rise up against H3582 us are cut off, H3499 And the remnant H784 of them the fire H398 hath consumed.
H5532 Acquaint H7999 now thyself with him, and be at peace: H2896 Thereby good H935 shall come unto thee.
H3947 Receive, H8451 I pray thee, the law H6310 from his mouth, H7760 And lay up H561 his words H3824 in thy heart.
H7725 If thou return H7706 to the Almighty, H1129 thou shalt be built up, H7368 If thou put away H5766 unrighteousness H7368 far H168 from thy tents.
H7896 And lay H1220 thou thy treasure H5921 in H6083 the dust, H211 And the gold of Ophir H6697 among the stones H5158 of the brooks;
H7706 And the Almighty H1220 will be thy treasure, H8443 And precious H3701 silver unto thee.
H6026 For then shalt thou delight H7706 thyself in the Almighty, H5375 And shalt lift up H6440 thy face H433 unto God.
H6279 Thou shalt make thy prayer H8085 unto him, and he will hear H7999 thee; And thou shalt pay H5088 thy vows.
H1504 Thou shalt also decree H562 a thing, H6965 and it shall be established H216 unto thee; And light H5050 shall shine H1870 upon thy ways.
H8213 When they cast thee down, H559 thou shalt say, H1466 There is lifting up; H7807 And the humble H5869 person H3467 he will save.
H4422 He will deliver H336 even him H5355 that is not innocent: H4422 Yea, he shall be delivered H1252 through the cleanness H3709 of thy hands.
