Genesis 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

1 In the H7225 beginning H430 God H1254 created the H8064 heavens H853 and the H776 earth. 2 And the H776 earth H1961 was H8414 waste and H922 void; and H2822 darkness was upon the H6440 face of the H8415 deep: and the H7307 Spirit of H430 God H7363 moved H5921 upon the H6440 face of the H4325 waters. 3 And H430 God H559 said, Let there H1961 be H216 light: and there was H216 light. 4 And H430 God H7200 saw the H216 light, H3588 that it was H2896 good: and H430 God H914 divided the H216 light H996 from the H2822 darkness. 5 And H430 God H7121 called the H216 light H3117 Day, and the H2822 darkness he H7121 called H3915 Night. And there was H6153 evening and there was H1242 morning, H259 one H3117 day. 6 And H430 God H559 said, Let there be a H7549 firmament in the H8432 midst of the H4325 waters, and let it H914 divide the H4325 waters from the H4325 waters. 7 And H430 God H6213 made the H7549 firmament, and H914 divided the H4325 waters H834 which were H8478 under the H7549 firmament from the H4325 waters H834 which were H5921 above the H7549 firmament: and it was H3651 so. 8 And H430 God H7121 called the H7549 firmament H8064 Heaven. And there was H6153 evening and there was H1242 morning, a H8145 second H3117 day. 9 And H430 God H559 said, Let the H4325 waters under the H8064 heavens be gathered H6960 together H413 unto H259 one H4725 place, and let the H3004 dry land H7200 appear: and it was so. 10 And H430 God H7121 called the H3004 dry land H776 Earth; and the gathering H4723 together of the H4325 waters H7121 called he H3220 Seas: and H430 God H7200 saw that it was H2896 good. 11 And H430 God H559 said, Let the H776 earth put H1876 forth H1877 grass, H6212 herbs H2232 yielding H2233 seed, and H6086 fruit-trees H6213 bearing H6529 fruit after their H4327 kind, H834 wherein is the H2233 seed thereof, upon the H776 earth: and it was so. 12 And the H776 earth brought H3318 forth H1877 grass, H6212 herbs H2232 yielding H2233 seed after their H4327 kind, and H6086 trees H6213 bearing H6529 fruit, wherein is the H2233 seed thereof, after their H4327 kind: and H430 God H7200 saw that it was H2896 good. 13 And there was H6153 evening and there was H1242 morning, a H7992 third H3117 day. 14 And H430 God H559 said, Let there be H3974 lights in the H7549 firmament of H8064 heaven to H914 divide the H3117 day from the H3915 night; and let them be for H226 signs, and for H4150 seasons, and for H3117 days and H8141 years: 15 and let them be for H3974 lights in the H7549 firmament of H8064 heaven to give H215 light upon the H776 earth: and it was so. 16 And H430 God H6213 made the H8147 two H1419 great H3974 lights; the H1419 greater H3974 light to H4475 rule the H3117 day, and the H6996 lesser H3974 light to H4475 rule the H3915 night: he made the H3556 stars also. 17 And H430 God H5414 set them in the firmament of H8064 heaven to give H215 light upon the H776 earth, 18 and to H4910 rule over the H3117 day and over the H3915 night, and to H914 divide the H216 light from the H2822 darkness: and H430 God H7200 saw that it was H2896 good. 19 And there was H6153 evening and there was H1242 morning, a H7243 fourth H3117 day. 20 And H430 God H559 said, Let the H4325 waters H8317 swarm with H8317 swarms of H2416 living H5315 creatures, and let H5775 birds H5774 fly H5921 above the H776 earth in the H6440 open H7549 firmament of H8064 heaven. 21 And H430 God H1254 created the H1419 great H8577 sea-monsters, and every H2416 living H5315 creature that H7430 moveth, wherewith the H4325 waters H8317 swarmed, after their H4327 kind, and every H3671 winged H5775 bird after its H4327 kind: and H430 God H7200 saw that it was H2896 good. 22 And H430 God H1288 blessed them, H559 saying, Be H6509 fruitful, and H7235 multiply, and H4390 fill the H4325 waters in the H3220 seas, and let H5775 birds H7235 multiply on the H776 earth. 23 And there was H6153 evening and there was H1242 morning, a H2549 fifth H3117 day. 24 And H430 God H559 said, Let the H776 earth bring H3318 forth H2416 living H5315 creatures after their H4327 kind, H929 cattle, and creeping H7431 things, and beasts of the H776 earth after their H4327 kind: and it was so. 25 And H430 God H6213 made the H2416 beasts of the H776 earth after their H4327 kind, and the H929 cattle after their H4327 kind, and everything that H7431 creepeth upon the H127 ground after its H4327 kind: and H430 God H7200 saw that it was H2896 good. 26 And H430 God H559 said, Let us H6213 make H120 man in our H6754 image, after our H1823 likeness: and let them have H7287 dominion over the H1710 fish of the H3220 sea, and over the H5775 birds of the H8064 heavens, and over the H929 cattle, and over all the H776 earth, and over every creeping H7431 thing that H7430 creepeth upon the H776 earth. 27 And H430 God H1254 created H120 man in his own H6754 image, in the H6754 image of H430 God H1254 created he him; H2145 male and H5347 female H1254 created he them. 28 And H430 God H1288 blessed them: and H430 God H559 said unto them, Be H6509 fruitful, and H7235 multiply, and H4390 replenish the H776 earth, and subdue H3533 it; and have H7287 dominion over the H1710 fish of the H3220 sea, and over the H5775 birds of the H8064 heavens, and over every living H2416 thing that H7430 moveth upon the H776 earth. 29 And H430 God H559 said, H2009 Behold, I have H5414 given you every H6212 herb H2232 yielding H2233 seed, which is upon the H6440 face of all the H776 earth, and every H6086 tree, in which is the H6529 fruit of a H6086 tree H2232 yielding H2233 seed; to you it shall H1961 be for H402 food: 30 and to every H2416 beast of the H776 earth, and to every H5775 bird of the H8064 heavens, and to everything that H7430 creepeth upon the H776 earth, wherein there is H2416 life, I have given every H3418 green H6212 herb for H402 food: and it was so. 31 And H430 God H7200 saw everything H834 that he had H6213 made, and, behold, it was H3966 very H2896 good. And there was H6153 evening and there was H1242 morning, the H8345 sixth H3117 day.
