Exodus 20

  1   And H430 God H1696 spake   all   these H1697 words, H559 saying,   2   I   am H3068 Jehovah   thy H430 God,   who H3318 brought   thee   out   of   the H776 land   of H4714 Egypt,   out   of   the H1004 house   of H5650 bondage.   3   Thou   shalt   have   no H312 other H430 gods   before H6440 me.   4   Thou   shalt   not H6213 make   unto   thee   a   graven H6459 image,   nor   any H8544 likeness   of   any   thing H834 that   is   in H8064 heaven H4605 above,   or   that   is   in   the H776 earth   beneath,   or   that   is   in   the H4325 water   under   the H776 earth:   5   thou   shalt   not   bow H7812 down   thyself   unto   them,   nor H5647 serve   them;   for   I H3068 Jehovah   thy H430 God   am   a H7067 jealous H430 God, H6485 visiting   the H5771 iniquity   of   the H1 fathers   upon   the H1121 children,   upon   the H8029 third   and   upon   the H7256 fourth   generation   of   them   that H8130 hate   me,   6   and H6213 showing H2617 lovingkindness   unto H505 thousands   of   them   that H157 love   me   and H8104 keep   my H4687 commandments.   7   Thou   shalt   not H5375 take   the H8034 name   of H3068 Jehovah   thy H430 God   in H7723 vain;   for H3068 Jehovah   will   not   hold   him H5352 guiltless   that H5375 taketh   his H8034 name   in H7723 vain.   8 H2142 Remember   the H7676 sabbath H3117 day,   to   keep   it H6942 holy.   9 H8337 Six H3117 days   shalt   thou H5647 labor,   and H6213 do   all   thy H4399 work;   10   but   the H7637 seventh H3117 day   is   a H7676 sabbath   unto H3068 Jehovah   thy H430 God:   in   it   thou   shalt   not H6213 do   any H4399 work,   thou,   nor   thy H1121 son,   nor   thy H1323 daughter,   thy H5650 man-servant,   nor   thy H519 maid-servant,   nor   thy H929 cattle,   nor   thy H1616 stranger   that   is   within   thy H8179 gates:   11   for   in H8337 six H3117 days H3068 Jehovah H6213 made H8064 heaven   and H776 earth,   the H3220 sea,   and   all   that   in   them   is,   and H5117 rested   the H7637 seventh H3117 day:   wherefore H3068 Jehovah H1288 blessed   the H7676 sabbath H3117 day,   and H6942 hallowed   it.   12 H3513 Honor   thy H1 father   and   thy H517 mother,   that   thy H3117 days   may   be H748 long   in   the H127 land   which H3068 Jehovah   thy H430 God H5414 giveth   thee.   13   Thou   shalt   not H7523 kill.   14   Thou   shalt   not   commit H5003 adultery.   15   Thou   shalt   not H1589 steal.   16   Thou   shalt   not H6030 bear H8267 false H5707 witness   against   thy H7453 neighbor.   17   Thou   shalt   not H2530 covet   thy H7453 neighbor's H1004 house,   thou   shalt   not H2530 covet   thy H7453 neighbor's H802 wife,   nor   his H5650 man-servant,   nor   his H519 maid-servant,   nor   his H7794 ox,   nor   his H2543 ass,   nor   anything   that   is   thy H7453 neighbor's.   18   And   all   the H5971 people H7200 perceived   the H6963 thunderings,   and   the H3940 lightnings,   and   the H6963 voice   of   the H7782 trumpet,   and   the H2022 mountain H6226 smoking:   and   when   the H5971 people H7200 saw   it,   they H5128 trembled,   and H5975 stood   afar H7350 off.   19   And   they H559 said   unto H4872 Moses, H1696 Speak   thou   with   us,   and   we   will H8085 hear;   but   let   not H430 God H1696 speak   with   us,   lest   we H4191 die.   20   And H4872 Moses H559 said   unto   the H5971 people, H3372 Fear   not:   for H430 God   is H935 come H5668 to H5254 prove   you,   and   that   his H3374 fear   may   be   before H6440 you,   that   ye H2398 sin   not.   21   And   the H5971 people H5975 stood   afar H7350 off,   and H4872 Moses   drew H5066 near   unto   the   thick H6205 darkness   where H430 God   was.   22   And H3068 Jehovah H559 said   unto H4872 Moses,   Thus   thou   shalt H559 say   unto   the H1121 children   of H3478 Israel,   Ye   yourselves   have H7200 seen   that   I   have H1696 talked   with   you   from H8064 heaven.   23   Ye   shall   not H6213 make   other H430 gods   with   me;   gods   of H3701 silver,   or H430 gods   of H2091 gold,   ye   shall   not H6213 make   unto   you.   24   An H4196 altar   of H127 earth   thou   shalt H6213 make   unto   me,   and   shalt H2076 sacrifice   thereon   thy H5930 burnt-offerings,   and   thy H8002 peace-offerings,   thy H6629 sheep,   and   thine H1241 oxen:   in   every H4725 place   where   I H2142 record   my H8034 name   I   will H935 come   unto   thee   and   I   will H1288 bless   thee.   25   And   if   thou H6213 make   me   an H4196 altar   of H68 stone,   thou   shalt   not H1129 build   it   of   hewn H1496 stones;   for   if   thou   lift H5130 up   thy H2719 tool   upon   it,   thou   hast H2490 polluted   it.   26   Neither   shalt   thou   go H5927 up   by H4609 steps   unto   mine H4196 altar,   that   thy H6172 nakedness   be   not H1540 uncovered   thereon.
