Genesis 15 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.

2 H87 And Abram H559 said, H136 LORD H3069 God, H4100 what H5414 will you give H1980 me, seeing I go H6185 childless, H1121 and the steward H4943 H1004 of my house H1931 is this H461 Eliezer H1834 of Damascus?

3 H87 And Abram H559 said, H2005 Behold, H5414 to me you have given H3808 no H2233 seed: H2009 and, see, H1121 one born H1004 in my house H3423 is my heir.

4 H2009 And, behold, H1697 the word H3068 of the LORD H559 came to him, saying, H2088 This H3423 shall not be your heir; H3318 but he that shall come H3318 forth H4578 out of your own bowels H3423 shall be your heir.

5 H3318 And he brought H3318 him forth H2351 abroad, H559 and said, H5027 Look H4994 now H8064 toward heaven, H5608 and tell H3556 the stars, H518 if H3201 you be able H5608 to number H559 them: and he said H3541 to him, So H2233 shall your seed be.
