Ezra 9:6-15 And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to you, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up to the heavens.

7 H3117 Since the days H1 of our fathers H1419 have we been in a great H819 trespass H2088 to this H3117 day; H5771 and for our iniquities H4428 have we, our kings, H3548 and our priests, H5414 been delivered H3027 into the hand H4428 of the kings H776 of the lands, H2719 to the sword, H7628 to captivity, H961 and to a spoil, H1322 and to confusion H6440 of face, H2088 as it is this H3117 day.

8 H6258 And now H4592 for a little H7281 space H8467 grace H3068 has been showed from the LORD H430 our God, H7604 to leave H6413 us a remnant to escape, H5414 and to give H3489 us a nail H6944 in his holy H4725 place, H430 that our God H215 may lighten H5869 our eyes, H5414 and give H4592 us a little H4241 reviving H5659 in our bondage.

9 H5650 For we were slaves; H430 yet our God H5800 has not forsaken H5659 us in our bondage, H5186 but has extended H2617 mercy H6440 to us in the sight H4428 of the kings H6539 of Persia, H5414 to give H4241 us a reviving, H7311 to set H1004 up the house H430 of our God, H5975 and to repair H2723 the desolations H5414 thereof, and to give H1447 us a wall H3063 in Judah H3389 and in Jerusalem.

10 H6258 And now, H430 O our God, H4100 what H559 shall we say H310 after H2063 this? H5800 for we have forsaken H4687 your commandments,

11 H834 Which H6680 you have commanded H5650 by your servants H5030 the prophets, H559 saying, H776 The land, H834 to which H935 you go H3423 to possess H5079 it, is an unclean H776 land H5079 with the filthiness H5971 of the people H776 of the lands, H8441 with their abominations, H834 which H4390 have filled H6310 it from one end H2932 to another with their uncleanness.

12 H6258 Now H5414 therefore give H1323 not your daughters H1121 to their sons, H408 neither H5375 take H1323 their daughters H1121 to your sons, H3808 nor H1875 seek H7965 their peace H2896 or their wealth H5769 for ever: H2388 that you may be strong, H398 and eat H2898 the good H776 of the land, H3423 and leave it for an inheritance H1121 to your children H5769 for ever.

13 H310 And after H3605 all H935 that is come H7451 on us for our evil H4639 deeds, H1419 and for our great H819 trespass, H3588 seeing H430 that you our God H2820 have punished H4295 us less H5771 than our iniquities H5414 deserve, and have given H6413 us such deliverance H2063 as this;

14 H7725 Should we again H6565 break H4687 your commandments, H2859 and join H2859 in affinity H5971 with the people H428 of these H8441 abominations? H599 would not you be angry H5704 with us till H3615 you had consumed H369 us, so that there should be no H7611 remnant H6413 nor escaping?

15 H3068 O LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel, H6662 you are righteous: H7604 for we remain H6413 yet escaped, H2063 as it is this H3117 day: H2005 behold, H6440 we are before H819 you in our trespasses: H3808 for we cannot H5975 stand H6440 before H5921 you because H2063 of this.
