Deuteronomy 29 These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

1 H428 These H1697 are the words H1285 of the covenant, H3068 which the LORD H6680 commanded H4872 Moses H3772 to make H1121 with the children H3478 of Israel H776 in the land H4124 of Moab, H905 beside H1285 the covenant H834 which H3772 he made H2722 with them in Horeb.

2 H4872 And Moses H7121 called H3605 to all H3478 Israel, H559 and said H7200 to them, You have seen H3605 all H3068 that the LORD H6213 did H5869 before your eyes H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt H6547 to Pharaoh, H3605 and to all H5650 his servants, H3605 and to all H776 his land;

3 H1419 The great H4531 temptations H834 which H5869 your eyes H7200 have seen, H226 the signs, H1992 and those H1419 great H4159 miracles:

4 H3068 Yet the LORD H5414 has not given H3820 you an heart H3045 to perceive, H5869 and eyes H7200 to see, H241 and ears H8085 to hear, H2088 to this H3117 day.

5 H3212 And I have led H705 you forty H8141 years H4057 in the wilderness: H8008 your clothes H1086 are not waxen old H5275 on you, and your shoe H1086 is not waxen old H7272 on your foot.

6 H398 You have not eaten H3899 bread, H3808 neither H8354 have you drunk H3196 wine H7941 or strong drink: H3045 that you might know H3068 that I am the LORD H430 your God.

7 H935 And when you came H2088 to this H4725 place, H5511 Sihon H4428 the king H2809 of Heshbon, H5747 and Og H4428 the king H1316 of Bashan, H3318 came H7125 out against H4421 us to battle, H5221 and we smote them:

8 H3947 And we took H776 their land, H5414 and gave H5159 it for an inheritance H7206 to the Reubenites, H1425 and to the Gadites, H2677 and to the half H7626 tribe H4520 of Manasseh.

9 H8104 Keep H1697 therefore the words H2063 of this H1285 covenant, H6213 and do H7919 them, that you may prosper H3605 in all H6213 that you do.

10 H5324 You stand H3117 this day H3605 all H6440 of you before H3068 the LORD H430 your God; H7218 your captains H7626 of your tribes, H2205 your elders, H7860 and your officers, H3605 with all H376 the men H3478 of Israel,

11 H2945 Your little H802 ones, your wives, H1616 and your stranger H4264 that is in your camp, H2404 from the hewer H6086 of your wood H7579 to the drawer H4325 of your water:

12 H5674 That you should enter H1285 into covenant H3068 with the LORD H430 your God, H423 and into his oath, H834 which H3068 the LORD H430 your God H3772 makes H3117 with you this day:

13 H6965 That he may establish H3117 you to day H5971 for a people H430 to himself, and that he may be to you a God, H1696 as he has said H7650 to you, and as he has sworn H1 to your fathers, H85 to Abraham, H3327 to Isaac, H3290 and to Jacob.

14 H3808 Neither H905 with you only H3772 do I make H2063 this H1285 covenant H2063 and this H423 oath;

15 H5975 But with him that stands H6311 here H3117 with us this day H6440 before H3068 the LORD H430 our God, H6311 and also with him that is not here H3117 with us this day:

16 H3045 (For you know H834 how H3427 we have dwelled H776 in the land H4714 of Egypt; H834 and how H5674 we came H7130 through H1471 the nations H834 which H5674 you passed by;

17 H7200 And you have seen H8251 their abominations, H1544 and their idols, H6086 wood H68 and stone, H3701 silver H2091 and gold, H834 which were among them:)

18 H6435 Lest H376 there should be among you man, H176 or H802 woman, H176 or H4940 family, H176 or H7626 tribe, H834 whose H3824 heart H6437 turns H3117 away this day H3068 from the LORD H430 our God, H3212 to go H5647 and serve H430 the gods H1992 of these H1471 nations; H6435 lest H8328 there should be among you a root H6509 that bears H7219 gall H3939 and wormwood;

19 H1961 And it come H8085 to pass, when he hears H1697 the words H2063 of this H423 curse, H1288 that he bless H3824 himself in his heart, H559 saying, H7965 I shall have peace, H3588 though H3212 I walk H8307 in the imagination H3820 of my heart, H5595 to add H7302 drunkenness H6771 to thirst:

20 H3068 The LORD H5545 will not spare H227 him, but then H639 the anger H3068 of the LORD H7068 and his jealousy H6225 shall smoke H376 against that man, H3605 and all H423 the curses H3789 that are written H2088 in this H5612 book H7257 shall lie H3068 on him, and the LORD H4229 shall blot H8034 out his name H8478 from under H8064 heaven.

21 H3068 And the LORD H914 shall separate H7451 him to evil H3605 out of all H7626 the tribes H3478 of Israel, H3605 according to all H423 the curses H1285 of the covenant H3789 that are written H2088 in this H5612 book H8451 of the law:

22 H1755 So that the generation H314 to come H1121 of your children H6965 that shall rise H310 up after H5237 you, and the stranger H935 that shall come H7350 from a far H776 land, H559 shall say, H7200 when they see H4347 the plagues H776 of that land, H8463 and the sicknesses H834 which H3068 the LORD H2470 has laid on it;

23 H3605 And that the whole H776 land H1614 thereof is brimstone, H4417 and salt, H8316 and burning, H2232 that it is not sown, H3808 nor H6779 bears, H3808 nor H3605 any H6212 grass H5927 grows H4114 therein, like the overthrow H5467 of Sodom, H6017 and Gomorrah, H126 Admah, H6636 and Zeboim, H834 which H3068 the LORD H2015 overthrew H639 in his anger, H2534 and in his wrath:

24 H3605 Even all H1471 nations H559 shall say, H5921 Why H4100 H3068 has the LORD H6213 done H3660 thus H2063 to this H776 land? H4100 what H2750 means the heat H2088 of this H1419 great H639 anger?

25 H559 Then men shall say, H5921 Because H834 H5800 they have forsaken H1285 the covenant H3068 of the LORD H430 God H1 of their fathers, H834 which H3772 he made H3318 with them when he brought H3318 them forth H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt:

26 H3212 For they went H5647 and served H312 other H430 gods, H7812 and worshipped H430 them, gods H834 whom H3045 they knew H834 not, and whom H2505 he had not given to them:

27 H639 And the anger H3068 of the LORD H2734 was kindled H1931 against this H776 land, H935 to bring H3605 on it all H7045 the curses H3789 that are written H2088 in this H5612 book:

28 H3068 And the LORD H5428 rooted H127 them out of their land H639 in anger, H2534 and in wrath, H1419 and in great H7110 indignation, H7993 and cast H413 them into H312 another H776 land, H2088 as it is this H3117 day.

29 H5641 The secret H3068 things belong to the LORD H430 our God: H1540 but those things which are revealed H1121 belong to us and to our children H5769 for ever, H6213 that we may do H3605 all H1697 the words H2063 of this H8451 law.
