Acts 25

AKJV_Strongs(i)
G3767 Now G5347 when Festus G1910 was come G1885 into the province, G3326 after G5140 three G2250 days G305 he ascended G2542 from Caesarea G2414 to Jerusalem.
G1161 Then G749 the high G749 priest G4413 and the chief G2453 of the Jews G1718 informed G2596 him against G3972 Paul, G3870 and sought him,
G154 And desired G5485 favor G2596 against G3343 him, that he would send G2419 for him to Jerusalem, G4160 laying G4160 wait G1747 G3598 in the way G337 to kill him.
G5347 But Festus G611 answered, G3972 that Paul G5083 should be kept G1722 at G2542 Caesarea, G1438 and that he himself G3195 would G1607 depart G1722 shortly G5034 thither.
G3767 Let them therefore, G5346 said G1722 he, which among G1415 you are able, G4782 go G4782 down G2723 with me, and accuse G846 this G435 man, G1487 if G1536 there be any G824 wickedness in him.
G1304 And when he had tarried G1722 among G4119 them more G2228 than G1176 ten G2250 days, G2597 he went G2597 down G2542 to Caesarea; G1887 and the next G1887 day G2523 sitting G1909 on G968 the judgment G968 seat G2753 commanded G3972 Paul G71 to be brought.
G3854 And when he was come, G2453 the Jews G2597 which came G2597 down G2414 from Jerusalem G4026 stood G4026 round G3936 about, G5342 and laid G4183 many G926 and grievous G157 complaints G2596 against G3972 Paul, G3588 which G2480 they could G584 not prove.
G626 While he answered G3777 for himself, Neither G1519 against G3551 the law G2453 of the Jews, G3777 neither G1519 against G2411 the temple, G3777 nor G1519 yet against G2541 Caesar, G264 have I offended G5100 any thing at all.
G5347 But Festus, G2309 willing G2698 to do G2453 the Jews G5485 a pleasure, G611 answered G3972 Paul, G2036 and said, G305 Will you go G2414 up to Jerusalem, G1563 and there G2919 be judged G5130 of these G1909 things before me?
G1161 Then G2036 said G3972 Paul, G2476 I stand G1909 at G2541 Caesar’s G968 judgment G968 seat, G3757 where G1163 I ought G2919 to be judged: G2453 to the Jews G91 have I done G3762 no G91 wrong, G2566 as you very G2573 well G1921 know.
G1487 For if G91 I be an offender, G2532 or G4238 have committed G5100 any G514 thing worthy G2288 of death, G3868 I refuse G599 not to die: G1487 but if G3762 there be none G3739 of these things whereof G3778 these G2723 accuse G3762 me, no G3762 man G1410 may G5483 deliver G1941 me to them. I appeal G2541 to Caesar.
G5119 Then G5347 Festus, G4814 when he had conferred G4824 with the council, G611 answered, G1941 Have you appealed G2541 to Caesar? G2541 to Caesar G4198 shall you go.
G1230 And after G5100 certain G2250 days G935 king G67 Agrippa G959 and Bernice G2658 came G2542 to Caesarea G782 to salute G5347 Festus.
G5613 And when G1304 they had been G1563 there G4119 many G2250 days, G5347 Festus G394 declared G3972 Paul’s G3588 cause G2596 G935 to the king, G3004 saying, G5100 There is a certain G435 man G2641 left G1198 in bonds G5344 by Felix:
G4012 About G3739 whom, G1519 when I was at G2414 Jerusalem, G749 the chief G749 priests G4245 and the elders G2453 of the Jews G1718 informed G154 me, desiring G1349 to have judgment G2596 against him.
G3739 To whom G611 I answered, G1485 It is not the manner G4514 of the Romans G5483 to deliver G5100 any G444 man G684 to die, G4250 before G2723 that he which is accused G2192 have G2725 the accusers G4383 face G4383 to face, G2983 and have G5117 license G627 to answer G4012 for himself concerning G1462 the crime G1462 laid against him.
G3767 Therefore, G4905 when they were come G1759 here, G3367 without G4160 G3362 any G311 delay G1909 on G1836 the morrow G2523 I sat G1909 on G968 the judgment G968 seat, G2753 and commanded G435 the man G71 to be brought forth.
G4012 Against G3739 whom G2725 when the accusers G2476 stood G2018 up, they brought G3762 none G156 accusation G5282 of such things as I supposed:
G2192 But had G5100 certain G2213 questions G4314 against G2398 him of their own G1175 superstition, G5100 and of one G2424 Jesus, G2348 which was dead, G3739 whom G3972 Paul G5335 affirmed G2198 to be alive.
G639 And because I doubted G4012 of such manner G2214 of questions, G3004 I asked G1487 him whether G4198 he would go G2419 to Jerusalem, G1563 and there G2919 be judged G5130 of these matters.
G3972 But when Paul G1941 had appealed G5083 to be reserved G1233 to the hearing G828 of Augustus, G2753 I commanded G5083 him to be kept G2193 till G3992 I might send G2541 him to Caesar.
G1161 Then G67 Agrippa G5346 said G5347 to Festus, G2532 I would also G191 hear G444 the man G839 myself. To morrow, G5346 said G191 he, you shall hear him.
G1887 And on the morrow, G67 when Agrippa G2064 was come, G959 and Bernice, G4183 with great G5325 pomp, G1525 and was entered G1519 into G201 the place G201 of hearing, G5506 with the chief G5506 captains, G3588 and principal G2596 G1851 G5607 G435 men G4172 of the city, G5347 at Festus’ G2753 commandment G3972 Paul G71 was brought forth.
G5347 And Festus G5346 said, G935 King G67 Agrippa, G3956 and all G435 men G3588 which G4840 are here G4840 present G2334 with us, you see G5126 this G4012 man, about G3739 whom G3956 all G4128 the multitude G2453 of the Jews G2983 have G1793 dealt G5037 with me, both G1722 at G2414 Jerusalem, G1759 and also here, G1916 crying G1163 that he ought G2198 not to live G3371 any G3371 longer.
G2638 But when I found G4238 that he had committed G3367 nothing G514 worthy G2288 of death, G848 and that he himself G1941 has appealed G828 to Augustus, G2983 I have G2919 determined G3992 to send him.
G3739 Of whom G2192 I have G3756 no G804 certain G1125 thing to write G2962 to my lord. G1352 Why G4254 I have brought G4254 him forth G1909 before G3122 you, and specially G1909 before G935 you, O king G67 Agrippa, G351 that, after examination G1096 had, G2192 I might have G5100 somewhat G1125 to write.
G1380 For it seems G249 to me unreasonable G3992 to send G1198 a prisoner, G4591 and not with to signify G156 the crimes G2596 laid against him.
