Joshua 24:21-25 And the people said to Joshua, No, but we will serve LORD.

ACV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²¹ And the people said to Joshua, No, but we will serve LORD. ²² And Joshua said to the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen for you, LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses. ²³ Now therefore, he said, put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to LORD, the God of Israel. ²⁴ And the people said to Joshua, we will serve LORD our God, and we will hearken to his voice. ²⁵ So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
