Judges 19:6-30

  6 G2532 And G2523 he sat down, G2532 and G2068 [²ate G297 ¹both] G1909 together, G3588   G1473   G2532 and G4095 drank. G2532 And G2036 [⁵said G3588 ¹the G3962 ²father G3588 ³of the G3494.1 ⁴young woman] G4314 to G3588 the G435 man, G756 For a beginning, G835 lodge G2532 and G18.2 do good G3588 to G2588 your heart! G1473  

  7 G2532 And G450 [³rose up G3588 ¹the G435 ²man] G565 to depart. G2532 And G971 [²forced G1473 ³him G3588   G1059.2 ¹his father-in-law], G1473   G2532 and G2523 he stayed G2532 and G835 lodged G1563 there.

  8 G2532 And G3719 he rose early G4404 in the morning G3588 on the G2250 [²day G3588   G3991 ¹fifth] G3588   G565 to depart. G2532 And G2036 [⁵said G3588 ¹the G3962 ²father G3588 ³of the G3494.1 ⁴young woman], G4741 Support G1211 indeed G3588   G2588 your heart G1473   G740 with bread, G2532 and G4754 soldier G2193 until G2827 [³should decline G3588 ¹the G2250 ²day]! G2532 And G2068 [²ate G2532 ³and G4095 ⁴drank G297 ¹both].

  9 G2532 And G450 [³rose up G3588 ¹the G435 ²man] G3588   G565 to go, G1473 he G2532 and G3588   G3825.1 his concubine, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3808 his servant. G1473   G2532 And G2036 [²said G1473 ³to him G3588   G1059.2 ¹his father-in-law], G1473   G3588 the G3962 father G3588 of the G3494.1 young woman, G2400 Behold, G1211 indeed G2827 [²is declined G3588   G2250 ¹ the day] G1519 into G2073 evening, G835 lodge G5602 here G2532 and G18.2 do good G3588 to G2588 your heart, G1473   G2532 and G3719 rise early G839 tomorrow G1519 unto G3588   G3598 your way, G1473   G2532 and G565 you shall depart G1519 unto G3588   G4638 your tent!   10 G2532 And G3756 [³did not want G2309   G3588 ¹the G435 ²man] G835 to lodge. G2532 And G450 he rose up G2532 and G565 went forth G2532 and G3854 came G2193 unto G561 before G* Jebus, G3778 this G1510.2.3 is G* Jerusalem, G2532 and G3326 with G1473 him G2201 were a pair G5268 of beasts of burden G1977.2 being saddled, G2532 and G3588   G3825.1 his concubine G1473   G3326 with G1473 him.

G2532 And G2036 [³said G3588 ¹the G3808 ²servant] G4314 to G3588   G2962 his master, G1473   G1204 Come G1211 please, G2532 even G1578 we should turn aside G1519 into G3588   G4172 [²city G3588 ³of the G* ⁴Jebusites G3778 ¹this], G2532 and G835 lodge G1722 in G1473 it.

  12 G2532 And G2036 [²said G4314 ³to G1473 ⁴him G3588   G2962 ¹his master], G1473   G3766.2 In no way G1578 shall we turn aside G1519 into G4172 [²city G245 ¹an alien], G1722 in G3739 which G3756 there is no one G1510.2.3   G1537 from G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Israel; G2532 even G3928 we shall go by G2193 unto G* Gibeah.

  13 G2532 And G2036 he said G3588 to G3808 his servant, G1473   G1204 Come, G2532 for G1448 we should approach G1520 one G3588 of the G5117 places, G2532 and G835 we should lodge G1722 in G* Gibeah G2228 or G1722 in G* Ramah.

  14 G2532 And G3928 they went by, G2532 and G1416 [³went down G1473 ⁴on them G3588 ¹the G2246 ²sun] G2192 being next G3588   G* to Gibeah, G3739 which G1510.2.3 is G3588   G* of Benjamin.

  15 G2532 And G1578 they turned aside G1563 there G3588   G1525 to enter G2647 to rest up G1722 in G* Gibeah. G2532 And G1525 he entered G2532 and G2523 sat G1722 in G3588 the G4113 square G3588 of the G4172 city, G2532 and G3756 there is no G1510.2.3   G435 man G3588   G4863 bringing G1473 them G1519 into G3588 the G3624 house G3588   G2647 to rest up.

  16 G2532 And G2400 behold, G435 [²man G4246 ¹an old] G1525 entered G575 from G3588   G2041 his works G1473   G1537 from out of G3588 the G68 field G2073 at evening, G2532 and G3588 the G435 man G1537 was from G3735 mount G* Ephraim, G2532 and G1473 he G3939 sojourned G1722 in G* Gibeah; G2532 and G3588 the G435 men G3588 of the G5117 place G5207 were sons G* of Benjamin.

  17 G2532 And G308 he looked up G3588   G3788 with his eyes, G1473   G2532 and G1492 he saw G3588 the G435 man, G3588 the one G3597.1 journeying G1722 in G3588 the G4113 square G3588 of the G4172 city. G2532 And G2036 [⁴said G3588   G435 ³man G3588 ¹the G4246 ²old], G4226 Where G4198 are you going, G2532 and G4159 from what place G2064 come you?

  18 G2532 And G2036 he said G4314 to G1473 him, G1224 We are passing over G1473   G1537 from G* Beth-lehem G* of Judah G2193 unto G3382 the side G3735 of mount G* Ephraim. G1564 [⁴from there G1161 ¹And G1473 ²I G1510.2.1 ³am], G2532 and G4198 I went G2193 unto G* Beth-lehem G* of Judah, G2532 and G1519 [³to G3588   G3624 ⁴my house G1473   G1473 ¹I G665.1 ²run]; G2532 but G3756 there is no G1510.2.3   G435 man G4863 bringing G1473 me G1519 into G3588   G3614 a house.

  19 G2532 And G1065 indeed G892 straw G2532 and G5527 fodder G5224 exists G3588 for G3688 our donkeys, G1473   G2532 and G1065 indeed G740 bread G2532 and G3631 wine G5224 exists G1473 to me, G2532 and G3588 to the G3814 maidservant, G2532 and G3588 to the G3495 servant; G3588 and to G1401 your servants G1473   G3756 there is no G1510.2.3   G5303 deficiency G3956 of any G4229 thing.

  20 G2532 And G2036 [⁴said G3588 ¹the G435 ³man G3588   G4246 ²old], G1515 Peace G1473 to you; G4133 only let G3956 any G3588   G5303 deficiency G1473 of yours G1909 be upon G1473 me, G4133 only G1722 [³in G3588 ⁴the G4113 ⁵square G3361 ¹you should not G2647 ²rest up].

  21 G2532 And G1521 he brought him G1473   G1519 into G3588   G3614 his house, G1473   G2532 and G3924.2 camped G3588   G5268 his beasts of burden. G1473   G2532 And G1473 they G3538 washed G3588   G4228 their feet, G1473   G2532 and G2068 they ate G2532 and G4095 drank.

  22 G1473 And they G1161   G18.2 were doing [²good G3588   G2588 ¹their heart]; G1473   G2532 and G2400 behold, G3588 the G435 men G3588 of the G4172 city, G5207 sons G3892.1 of lawbreakers, G4033 encircled G3588 the G3614 house, G2532 and G2925 knocked G1909 upon G3588 the G2374 door; G2532 and G2036 they said G4314 to G3588 the G435 man, G3588 the G2962 master G3588 of the G3614 house, G3588 the G4246 old man, G3004 saying, G1806 Lead out G3588 the G435 man G3588   G1525 entering G1519 into G3588   G3614 your house, G1473   G2443 that G1097 we should know G1473 him.

  23 G2532 And G1831 [³came forth G4314 ⁴to G1473 ⁵them G3588 ¹the G435 ²man], G3588 the G2962 master G3588 of the G3624 house, G2532 and G2036 he said G4314 to G1473 them, G3365 By no means, G80 my brethren, G1473   G3361 you should not do evil G4188.2   G1211 indeed G3326 with G3588   G1525 [²entering G3588   G435 ¹this man] G3778   G1519 into G3588   G3614 my house; G1473   G3361 you should not G4160 do G3588   G877 this folly.   24 G2400 Behold, G2364 my daughter G1473   G3588 the G3933 virgin, G2532 and G3588   G3825.1 his concubine; G1473   G1806 and I will bring G1161   G1473 them, G2532 and G5013 you humble G1473 them, G2532 and G4160 do G1473 to them G3588 the G18 good thing G1722 in G3788 your eyes, G1473   G2532 but G3588   G435 to this man G3778   G3361 you should not do G4160   G3588 the G4487 thing G3588   G877 of this folly. G3778  

  25 G2532 And G3756 [³did not G2309 ⁴want G3588 ¹the G435 ²men] G191 to hear G1473 him. G2532 And G1949 [³took hold G3588 ¹the G435 ²man] G3588   G3825.1 of his concubine, G1473   G2532 and G1806 led G1473 her G4314 to G1473 them G1854 outside. G2532 And G1097 they knew G1473 her, G2532 and G1702 sported G1473 with her G3650 the entire G3588   G3571 night G2193 until G4404 the morning. G2532 And G1821 they sent G1473 her G260 at the same time G3588 the G305 [²ascended G3588   G3722 ¹dawn].

  26 G2532 And G2064 [³came G3588 ¹the G1135 ²woman] G4404 in the morning, G2532 and G4098 fell G3844 by G3588 the G2374 door G3588 of the G4440 vestibule G3588 of the G3624 house G3588 of the G435 man G3739 of whom G1510.7.3 [²was G3588   G2962 ¹her master] G1473   G1563 there, G2193 until G3739 of which time G1307.1 light shown through.

  27 G2532 And G450 [²rose up G3588   G2962 ¹her master] G1473   G4404 in the morning, G2532 and G455 he opened G3588 the G2374 doors G3588 of the G3624 house, G2532 and G1831 he came forth G3588   G565 to depart G1519 into G3588   G3598 his way. G1473   G2532 And G2400 behold, G3588 the G1135 woman, G3588   G3825.1 his concubine, G1473   G4098 was fallen G3844 by G3588 the G2374 door G3588 of the G3624 house, G2532 and G3588   G5495 her hands G1473   G1909 were upon G3588 the G4290.1 threshold.

  28 G2532 And G2036 he said G4314 to G1473 her, G450 Rise up, G2532 for G565 we should go forth! G2532 And G3756 she did not G611 answer G1473 to him G235 for G2348 she had died. G2532 And G353 he lifted G1473 her G1909 upon G3588 the G5268 beast of burden, G2532 and G450 [³rose up G3588 ¹the G435 ²man] G2532 and G565 went forth G1519 to G3588   G5117 his place. G1473  

  29 G2532 And G1525 he entered G1519 into G3588   G3624 his house, G1473   G2532 and G2983 he took G3588 the G3162 knife, G2532 and G1949 took hold of G3588   G3825.1 his concubine, G1473   G2532 and G3192.1 dismembered G1473 her G2596 according to G3588   G3747 her bones G1473   G1519 into G1427 twelve G3310 portions, G2532 and G649 he sent G1473 them G1519 unto G3956 all G3588 the G5443 tribes G* of Israel.

  30 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G3956 all G3588 the G3708 ones seeing G3004 said, G3777 Neither G1096 happened, G3777 nor G3708 was thus seen G3779   G575 from G3588 the G2250 days G306.1 of the ascending G5207 of the sons G* of Israel G1537 from out of G1093 the land G* of Egypt G2193 until G3588   G2250 this day. G3778   G5087 Appoint G1211 indeed G1438 to yourselves G4012 [²concerning G1473 ³her G1012 ¹counsel] G2532 and G2980 speak!
