Jonah 3:2-10

  2 G450 Rise up, G4198 go G1519 unto G* Nineveh G3588 the G4172 [²city G3588   G3173 ¹great]! G2532 and G2784 proclaim G1722 in G1473 it! G2596 according to G3588 the G2782 proclamation G3588   G1715 [⁶before G3739 ¹which G1473 ²I G2980 ³spoke G4314 ⁴to G1473 ⁵you].

  3 G2532 And G450 Jonah rose up, G*   G2532 and G4198 went G1519 into G* Nineveh G2505 as G2980 the lord spoke. G2962   G3588 And G1161   G* Nineveh G1510.7.3 was G4172 [²city G3173 ¹a great] G3588   G2316 to God, G5616 as G4197 the goings G3598 of a journey G5140 of three G2250 days.

  4 G2532 And G756 Jonah began G*   G3588   G4198 to go G1519 into G3588 the G4172 city, G5616 as G4197 the going G2250 [²day G1520 ¹of one]. G2532 And G2784 he proclaimed G2532 and G2036 said, G2089 Yet G5140 three G2250 days, G2532 and G* Nineveh G2690 shall be eradicated.

  5 G2532 And G4100 [⁴believed G3588 ¹the G435 ²men G* ³of Nineveh] G3588   G2316 in God, G2532 and G2784 they proclaimed G3521 a fast, G2532 and G1746 put on G4526 sackcloths, G575 from G3173 their great G1473   G2193 unto G3397 their small. G1473  

  6 G2532 And G1448 [³approached G3588 ¹the G3056 ²word] G4314 to G3588 the G935 king G* of Nineveh. G2532 And G1817 he rose up G575 from G3588   G2362 his throne, G1473   G2532 and G4014 he removed G3588   G4749 his apparel G1473   G575 from G1438 himself, G2532 and G4016 he wore G4526 sackcloth, G2532 and G2523 sat G1909 upon G4700 ashes.

  7 G2532 And G2784 it was proclaimed G2532 and G2046 was spoken G1722 in G3588   G* Nineveh G3844 by G3588 the G935 king, G2532 and G3844 by G3588   G3175 his great men, G1473   G3004 saying, G3588 The G444 men, G2532 and G3588 the G2934 cattle, G2532 and G3588 the G1016 oxen, G2532 and G3588 the G4263 sheep -- G3361 let them not G1089 taste, G3366 nor G3500.1 feed, G2532 and G5204 [²water G3361 ¹let them not drink]! G4095  

  8 G2532 And G4016 [⁶put around G4526 ⁷sackcloths G3588 ¹the G444 ²men G2532 ³and G3588 ⁴the G2934 ⁵cattle]. G2532 And G310 they yelled out G4314 to G3588   G2316 God G1619 fervently. G2532 And G654 [²turned G1538 ¹each] G575 from G3588   G3598 [³way G1473 ¹their G3588   G4190 ²wicked], G2532 and G575 from G3588 the G93 iniquity G3588   G1722 in G5495 their hands, G1473   G3004 saying,

  9 G5100 Who G1492 knows G1487 if G3340 [²shall change his mind G3588   G2316 ¹God], G2532 and G654 he shall turn G1537 from G3709 the anger G2372 of his rage, G1473   G2532 and G3766.2 in no way G622 should we perish?

  10 G2532 And G1492 God saw G3588   G2316   G3588   G2041 their works, G1473   G3754 that G654 they turned G575 from G3588   G3598 [³ways G1473 ¹their G3588   G4190 ²wicked]; G2532 and G3340 God changed his mind G3588   G2316   G1909 over G3588 the G2549 evil G3739 which G2980 he spoke G3588   G4160 to do G1473 to them; G2532 and G3756 he did not do it.
