Genesis 42:1-24

  2 G2400 Behold, G191 I have heard G3754 that G1510.2.3 there is G4621 grain G1722 in G* Egypt; G2597 go down G1563 there G2532 and G4248.1 buy G1473 for us G3397 a small amount G1033 of foods! G2443 that G2198 we should live, G2532 and G3361 not G599 die.

  3 G2597 [⁵went down G1161 ¹And G3588 ²the G80 ³brothers G* ⁴of Joseph], G3588 the G1176 ten, G4248.1 to buy G4621 grain G1537 from G* Egypt.

  4 G3588   G1161 But G* Benjamin G3588 the G80 brother G* of Joseph G3756 was not G649 sent G3326 with G3588   G80 his brothers. G1473   G2036 For he said, G1063   G3379 Lest at any time G4819 should come to pass G1473 to him G3119 an infirmity.

  6 G* And Joseph G1161   G1510.7.3 was G3588 the G758 ruler G3588 of the G1093 land; G3778 he G4453 sold G3956 to all G3588 the G2992 people G3588 of the G1093 land. G2064 [⁵coming G1161 ¹And G3588 ²the G80 ³brothers G* ⁴of Joseph] G4352 did obeisance G1473 to him G1909 upon G4383 their face G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 ground.

  7 G1492 [³seeing G1161 ¹And G* ²Joseph] G3588   G80 his brothers G1473   G1921 recognized G2532 and G245.1 alienated himself G575 from G1473 them, G2532 and G2980 he spoke G1473 to them G4642 hard.   12 G2036 And he said G1161   G1473 to them, G3780 No, G235 but G3588 [³the G2487 ⁴tracks G3588 ⁵of the G1093 ⁶land G2064 ¹you came G1492 ²to see].

  13 G3588   G1161 And G2036 they said, G1427 [³twelve G1510.2.4 ¹We are G3588   G3816 ²your servants] G1473   G80 brothers G1722 in G1093 the land G* of Canaan; G2532 and G2400 behold, G3588   G3501 our younger brother G1473   G3326 is with G3588   G3962 our father G1473   G4594 today, G3588 and the G1161   G2087 other G3756 does not G5224 exist.

  14 G2036 [³said G1161 ¹And G1473 ⁴to them G* ²Joseph], G3778 This G1510.2.3 is it G3739 that G2046 I have said G1473 to you, G3004 saying G3754 that, G2685 You are spies. G1510.2.5

  20 G2532 And G3588   G80 [⁴brother G1473 ²your G3588   G3501 ³younger G71 ¹you lead] G4314 to G1473 me! G2532 and G4100 I will trust G3588   G4487 your sayings; G1473   G1490 but if not G599 you shall die. G4160 And they did G1161   G3779 so.

  21 G2532 And G2036 said G1538 each G4314 to G3588   G80 his brother, G1473   G3483 Yes, G1722 [³in G266 ⁴sins G1063 ¹for G1510.2.4 ²we are] G4012 on account of G3588   G80 our brother, G1473   G3754 for G5237 we overlooked G3588 the G2347 affliction G3588   G5590 of his soul G1473   G3753 when G2610.2 he besought G1473 us, G2532 and G3756 we did not G1522 listen to G1473 him, G2532 and G1752 because of G3778 this G1904 [²came G1909 ³upon G1473 ⁴us G3588   G2347 ¹this affliction]. G3778  

  22 G611 [³answering G1161 ¹And G* ²Reuben] G2036 said G1473 to them, G3756 Did I not G2980 speak G1473 to you, G3004 saying, G3361 You should not G91 wrong G3588 the G3808 lad, G2532 and G3756 you did not G1522 hearken to G1473 me?   23 G1473 And they G1161   G3756 did not G1492 know G3754 that G191 Joseph heard, G*   G3588 for the G1063   G2058.1 translator G303.1 [²between G1473 ³them G1510.7.3 ¹was].

  24 G654 And turning G1161   G575 from G1473 them, G2799 Joseph wept. G*   G2532 And G3825 again G4334 he came forward G4314 to G1473 them, G2532 and G2036 spoke G1473 to them. G2532 And G2983 he took G3588   G* Simeon G575 from G1473 them, G2532 and G1210 he tied G1473 him G1726 before G1473 them.
