Ezekiel 29 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, day one of the month, the word of the lord came to me saying,

2 G5207 O son G444 of man, G4741 firmly fix G3588 G4383 your face G1473 G1909 against G* Pharaoh G935 king G* of Egypt, G2532 and G4395 prophesy G1909 against G1473 him, G2532 and G1909 against G* entire Egypt! G3650

3 G2980 Speak G2532 and G2036 say! G3592 Thus G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord; G2400 Behold, G1473 I am G1909 against G1473 you, G* O Pharaoh G935 king G* of Egypt, G3588 the G1404 [²dragon G3588 G3173 ¹great], G3588 the one G1455.1 lying in wait G1722 in G3319 the midst G3588 G4215 of his rivers. 5 G2532 And G2598 I will throw you down G1473 G1722 G5034 quickly, G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G2486 fishes G3588 G4215 of your river. G1473 G1909 Upon G4383 the face G3588 of the G3977.1 plain G4098 you shall fall, G2532 and G3766.2 no way G4863 shall you be brought together; G2532 and G3766.2 no way G4057.2 shall you be screened. 10 G1223 On account of G3778 this, G2400 behold, G1473 I am G1909 against G1473 you, G2532 and G1909 against G3956 all G3588 G4215 your rivers. G1473 G2532 And G1325 I will give G3588 the G1093 land G* of Egypt G1519 unto G2048 desolation, G4501 broadsword, G2532 and G684 destruction, G575 from G* Migdol G2532 and G* Syene G2532 even G2193 unto G3725 the borders G* of the Ethiopians.

11 G3766.2 In no way G1330 shall there go through G1722 by G1473 it G4228 the foot G444 of a man; G2532 and G4228 the foot G2934 of a beast G3766.2 in no way G1330 shall go through G1473 it, G2532 and G3756 it shall not G2730 be inhabited G5062 forty G2094 years.

G2532 And G1289 I will scatter G* Egypt G1722 among G3588 the G1484 nations, G2532 and G3039 I will winnow G1473 them G1722 among G3588 the G5561 places.

13 G3592 Thus G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord; G3326 After G5062 forty G2094 years G4863 I will gather G* the Egyptians G575 from G3588 the G1484 nations G3739 of which G1287 they were dispersed G1563 there.

14 G2532 And G654 I will return G3588 the G161 captivity G3588 of the G* Egyptians, G2532 and G2733.1 I will settle G1473 them G1722 in G1093 the land G* of Phathros, G1722 in G3588 the G1093 land G3606 from where G2983 they were taken; G2532 and G1510.8.3 it will be G746 [²rule G5011 ¹a humble] G1563 there,

16 G2532 And G3765 no longer G1510.8.6 will they be G2089 any more G3588 [³to the G3624 ⁴house G* ⁵of Israel G1519 ¹for G1680 ²a hope], G363 calling to mind G458 lawlessness G1722 in G3588 G190 their following G1473 G3694 after G1473 them. 18 G5207 O son G444 of man, G* Nebuchadnezzar G935 king G* of Babylon G2615 reduced to slavery G3588 G1411 his force G1473 G1397 [²service G3173 ¹for a great] G1909 against G* Tyre. G3956 Every G2776 head G5316.3 was bald G2532 and G3956 every G5606 shoulder G3097.2 loose of hair. G2532 And G3408 a wage G3756 did not G1096 exist G1473 to him, G2532 and G3588 G1411 his force G1473 G1909 was against G* Tyre, G1223 for G3588 the G1397 service G3739 of which G1398 they served G1909 against G1473 it.

19 G1223 On account of G3778 this, G3592 thus G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord; G2400 Behold, G1325 I give G3588 to G* Nebuchadnezzar G935 king G* of Babylon G3588 the G1093 land G* of Egypt; G2532 and G4659.1 he shall despoil G3588 G4661 her spoils, G1473 G2532 and G4307.1 he shall plunder G3588 G4307.2 her plunder; G1473 G2532 and G1510.8.3 it will be G3408 the wage G3588 G1411 for his force. G1473

20 G473 In return G3588 G3009 for his ministration G1473 G3739 of which G1398 he served G1909 against G* Tyre, G1325 I have given G1473 to him G1093 the land G* of Egypt, G446.2 because of G3745 as much as G2038 he worked G1473 to me, G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord .
