Ezekiel 12:1-28

  1 G2532 And G1096 [³came G3056 ¹ the word G2962 ² of the lord] G4314 to G1473 me, G3004 saying,

  2 G5207 O son G444 of man, G1722 [³in G3319 ⁴ the midst G3588   G93 ⁵of their iniquities G1473   G1473 ¹you G2730 ²dwell], G3739 the ones who G2192 have G3788 eyes G3588   G991 to see, G2532 and G3756 do not G991 see; G2532 and G3775 [²ears G2192 ¹have] G3588   G191 to hear, G2532 and G3756 do not G191 hear. G1360 For G3624 [³house G3893 ²a rebelling G1510.2.3 ¹it is].

  3 G2532 And G1473 you, G5207 O son G444 of man, G4160 prepare G4572 for yourself G4632 items G161 of captivity, G2532 and G162 be as captured G2250 by day G1799 in their presence! G1473   G2532 And G162 you shall be as captured G1537 from out of G3588   G5117 your place G1473   G1519 into G2087 another G5117 place G1799 before G1473 them, G3704 so that G1492 they should see, G1360 for G3624 [³house G3893 ²a rebelling G1510.2.3 ¹it is].

  4 G2532 And G1627 you shall bring forth G3588   G4632 your items, G1473   G4632 items G161 [²of captivity G2250 ¹for a day] G2596 before G3788 their eyes. G1473   G2532 And G1473 you G1831 shall go forth G2073 at evening G1799 before G1473 them G5613 as G1607 [²goes forth G164 ¹a captive] G1799 before G1473 them.

  5 G1358 Dig G4572 for yourself G1519 into G3588 the G5109 wall! G2532 and G1326.7 you shall go completely G1223 through G1473 it.

  6 G1799 [²before G1473 ³them G1909 ⁴upon G5606 ⁵a shoulder G353 ¹You shall be taken up], G2532 and G2928 [²being hidden G1831 ¹you shall go forth]. G3588   G4383 [²your face G1473   G4780 ¹You shall cover up], G2532 and G3766.2 in no way G1492 should you behold G3588 the G1093 ground. G1360 Because G5059 [³ as a portent G1325 ¹I have put G1473 ²you] G3588 to the G3624 house G* of Israel.

  7 G2532 And G4160 I did G3779 so G2596 according to G3956 all G3745 as much as G1781 he gave charge G1473 to me. G2532 And G1627 I brought forth G4632 items G161 [²of captivity G2250 ¹for the day], G2532 and G2073 at evening G1358 I dug through G1683 [³myself G3588 ¹the G5109 ²wall] G3588 by G5495 hand; G2532 and G2928 being hidden G1831 I came forth; G1909 [²upon G5606 ³a shoulder G353 ¹I was taken up] G1799 in the presence of G1473 them.

  8 G2532 And G1096 [³came G3056 ¹ the word G2962 ² of the lord] G4314 to G1473 me G4404 in the morning, G3004 saying,

  9 G5207 O son G444 of man, G3756 said not G2036   G4314 to G1473 you G3588 the G3624 house G3588   G* of Israel, G3624 [³house G3588 ¹the G3893 ²rebelling], G5100 What G1473 are you G4160 doing?

  10 G2036 Say G4314 to G1473 them, G3592 Thus G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord; G3588 To the G758 ruler G2532 and G860.1 one guiding G1722 in G* Jerusalem, G2532 even G3956 to all G3624 the house G* of Israel, G3739 the ones who G1510.2.6 are G1722 in G3319 the midst G1473 of them.

  11 G2036 Say G3754 that, G1473 I G5059 [²portents G4160 ¹do]. G3739 In which G5158 manner G4160 I have done, G3779 so G1510.8.3 will it be G1473 to them -- G1722 unto G3350 displacement G2532 and G1722 in G161 captivity G4198 they shall go.

  12 G2532 And G3588 the G758 ruler G1722 in G3319 the midst G1473 of them G1909 [²upon G5606 ³a shoulder G142 ¹shall be lifted], G2532 and G2928 being hid G1831 he shall come forth G1223 through G3588 the G5109 wall, G2532 and G1358 he shall dig through G3588   G1831 to come forth G1473 himself G1223 through G1473 it; G3588   G4383 [²his face G1473   G4780 ¹he shall cover up], G3704 so that G3361 he should not G3708 be seen G3788 by an eye, G2532 and G1473 he G3588 [³the G1093 ⁴ground G3756 ¹shall not G3708 ²see].

  13 G2532 And G1600 I will spread forth G3588   G1350 my net G1473   G1909 upon G1473 him, G2532 and G4815 he shall be seized G1722 in G3588   G4042 [²encompassing about G1473 ¹my]. G2532 And G71 I will lead G1473 him G1519 into G* Babylon, G1519 into G1093 the land G* of Chaldeans. G2532 And G1473 [³it G3756 ¹he shall not G3708 ²see], G2532 and G1563 [²there G5053 ¹he shall come to an end].

  14 G2532 And G3956 all G3588 the ones G2945 round about G1473 him, G3588   G998 his helpers, G1473   G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the ones G482 assisting G1473 him, G1289 I will scatter G1519 to G3956 all G417 the wind, G2532 and G4501 [²a broadsword G1632 ¹I will pour out] G3694 after G1473 them.

  15 G2532 And G1097 they shall know, G3754 for G1473 I am G2962 the lord, G1722 in G3588   G1287 my scattering G1473   G1473 them G1722 among G3588 the G1484 nations. G2532 And G1289 I will scatter G1473 them G1722 in G3588 the G5561 places.

  16 G2532 And G5275 I will leave G1537 of G1473 them G435 a few men G706 in number G1537 from G4501 the broadsword, G2532 and G1537 from G3042 famine, G2532 and G1537 from G2288 plague; G3704 so G302 even G1555 they may tell in detail G3956 all G3588   G458 their lawless deeds G1722 among G3588 the G1484 nations G3739 of which G1525 they entered G1563 there; G2532 and G1097 they shall know G3754 that G1473 I am G2962 the lord .

  17 G2532 And G1096 [³came G3056 ¹ the word G2962 ² of the lord] G4314 to G1473 me, G3004 saying,

  18 G5207 O son G444 of man, G3588   G740 [²your bread G1473   G3326 ³with G3601 ⁴grief G2068 ¹you shall eat], G2532 and G3588   G5204 [²your water G1473   G3326 ³with G931 ⁴torment G2532 ⁵and G2347 ⁶affliction G4095 ¹you shall drink].

  19 G2532 And G2046 you shall say G4314 to G3588 the G2992 people G3588 of the G1093 land, G3592 Thus G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord, G3588 to the ones G2730 dwelling G* in Jerusalem G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 land G3588   G* of Israel; G3588   G740 [²their bread loaves G1473   G3326 ³with G1729.1 ⁴lack G2068 ¹they shall eat], G2532 and G3588   G5204 [²their water G1473   G3326 ³with G854 ⁴obliteration G4095 ¹they shall drink], G3704 so that G853 [³should be extinct G3588 ¹the G1093 ²land] G4862 with G4138 its fullness G1473   G1722 in G763 impiety G3956 of all G3588 the ones G2730 dwelling G1722 in G1473 it.

  20 G2532 And G3588   G4172 their cities G1473   G3588   G2730 being dwelt in G1830.2 shall be made quite desolate, G2532 and G3588 the G1093 land G1519 [²for G854 ³extinction G1510.8.3 ¹will be]; G2532 and G1921 you shall realize G3754 that G1473 I am G2962 the lord .

  21 G2532 And G1096 [³came G3056 ¹ the word G2962 ² of the lord] G4314 to G1473 me, G3004 saying,

  22 G5207 O son G444 of man, G5100 what G3588 is G3850 this parable G3778   G1473 to you G1909 concerning G3588 the G1093 land G3588   G* of Israel, G3004 saying, G3588 The G2250 days G3112 are far off; G622 [³has perished G3956 ¹all G3706 ²vision]?

  23 G1223 On account of G3778 this, G2036 say G4314 to G1473 them! G3592 Thus G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord; G2532 Even G654 I will turn back G3588   G3850 this parable, G3778   G2532 and G3765 no longer G3361 should G2036 [⁴speak G3588   G3850 ⁵this parable G3778   G3588 ¹the G3624 ²house G3588   G* ³of Israel]. G3754 For G2980 you shall say G4314 to G1473 them, G1448 [³have approached G3588 ¹The G2250 ²days], G2532 and G3056 the matter G3956 of every G3706 vision.

  24 G1360 For G3756 there will no longer be G1510.8.3   G2089 any G3956   G3706 [²vision G5571 ¹false], G2532 nor G3132 one using oracles G3588   G4314 for G5484 favor G1722 in G3319 the midst G3588 of the G5207 sons G* of Israel.

  25 G1360 For G1473 I G2962 the lord G2980 will speak G3588   G3056 my words, G1473   G2532 and G4160 I will act; G2532 and G3756 I will not G3373 lengthen the time G2089 still. G1360 For G1722 in G3588   G2250 your days, G1473   G3624 [²house G3588   G3893 ¹O rebelling], G2980 I shall speak G3056 the word, G2532 and G4160 I will act, G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord .

  26 G2532 And G1096 [³came G3056 ¹ the word G2962 ² of the lord] G4314 to G1473 me, G3004 saying,

  27 G5207 O son G444 of man, G2400 behold, G3588 the G3624 house G* of Israel, G3588 the one G3893 rebelling. G3004 In saying G3004 they say, G3588 The G3706 vision G3739 which G3778 this man G3708 sees G1519 is for G2250 [²days G4183 ¹many], G2532 and G1519 [³for G2540 ⁵times G3117 ⁴long G3778 ¹this one G4395 ²prophesies].

  28 G1223 On account of G3778 this, G2036 say G4314 to G1473 them! G3592 Thus G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord; G3756 I shall not G3373 lengthen G2089 any longer G3956 all G3588   G3056 my words G1473   G3739 which G302 ever G2980 I should speak, G3754 for G2980 I shall speak G3056 a word, G2532 and G4160 I shall act, G3004 says G* Adonai G2962 the lord!
