Exodus 20:1-21

  1 G2532 And G2980 the lord spoke G2962   G3956 all G3588   G3056 these words, G3778   G3004 saying,

  2 G1473 I G1510.2.1 am G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G3748 the one G1806 leading G1473 you G1537 from G1093 the land G* of Egypt, G1537 from out of G3624 the house G1397 of slavery.

  3 G3756 There shall not G1510.8.6 be G1473 to you G2316 other gods G2087   G4133 besides G1473 me.

  4 G3756 You shall not G4160 make G4572 to yourself G1497 an idol, G3761 nor G3956 any G3667 representation, G3745 as much as G1722 is in G3588 the G3772 heaven G507 upward, G2532 nor G3745 as much as G1722 is in G3588 the G1093 earth G2736 below, G2532 nor G3745 as much as G1722 is in G3588 the G5204 waters G5270 underneath G3588 the G1093 earth.

  5 G3756 You shall not G4352 do obeisance G1473 to them, G3762.1 nor G3000 shall you serve G1473 to them. G1473 For I G1063   G1510.2.1 am G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G2316 a jealous God, G2207   G591 rendering G266 sins G3962 of fathers G1909 upon G5043 children G1909 unto G5154 the third G2532 and G5067 fourth G1074 generation G3588 to the ones G3404 detesting G1473 me;

  6 G2532 and G4160 having G1656 mercy G1519 to G5505 thousands G3588   G25 loving G1473 me, G2532 and G3588   G5442 guarding G3588   G4366.2 my orders. G1473  

  7 G3756 You shall not G2983 take G3588 the G3686 name G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G1909 in G3152 vain. G3756   G1063 For G3361 no way G2511 shall the lord cleanse G2962   G3588 the one G2983 taking G3588   G3686 his name G1473   G1909 in G3152 vain.

  8 G3403 Remember G3588 the G2250 day G3588 of the G4521 Sabbaths G37 to sanctify G1473 it!

  9 G1803 Six G2250 days G2038 you shall work, G2532 and G4160 shall do G3956 all G3588   G2041 your works; G1473  

  10 G3588 but the G1161   G2250 [²day G3588   G1442 ¹seventh] G4521 is a Sabbath G2962 to the lord G3588   G2316 your God. G1473   G3756 You shall not G4160 do G1722 on G1473 it G3956 any G2041 work -- G1473 you, G2532 and G3588   G5207 your son, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G2364 your daughter, G1473   G3588   G3816 your servant, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3814 your maidservant, G1473   G3588   G1016 your ox, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G5268 your beast of burden, G1473   G2532 and G3956 all G2934 your cattle, G1473   G2532 and G3588 the G4339 convert -- G3588 the one G3939 sojourning G1722 among G1473 you.

  11 G1722 For in G1063   G1803 six G2250 days G4160 the lord made G2962   G3588 the G3772 heaven, G2532 and G3588 the G1093 earth, G2532 and G3588 the G2281 sea, G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the things G1722 in G1473 them. G2532 And G2664 he rested G3588 on the G2250 [²day G3588   G1442 ¹seventh]. G1223 Because of G3778 this G2127 the lord blessed G2962   G3588 the G2250 [²day G3588   G1442 ¹seventh], G2532 and G37 sanctified G1473 it.

  12 G5091 Esteem G3588   G3962 your father G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3384 your mother! G1473   G2443 that G2095 good G1473 should happen to you, G1096   G2532 and G2443 that G3118 [²a long time G1096 ¹you may be] G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 [²earth G3588   G18 ¹good] G3739 which G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G1325 gives G1473 to you.

  13 G3756 You shall not G5407 murder.

  14 G3756 You shall not G3431 commit adultery.

  15 G3756 You shall not G2813 steal.

  16 G3756 You shall not G5576 witness falsely G2596 against G3588   G4139 your neighbor G1473   G3141 [²witness G5571 ¹ as a lying].

  17 G3756 You shall not G1937 covet G3588 the G1135 wife G3588   G4139 of your neighbor. G1473   G3756 You shall not G1937 covet G3588 the G3614 house G3588   G4139 of your neighbor, G1473   G3761 nor G3588   G68 his field, G1473   G3761 nor G3588   G3816 his manservant, G1473   G3761 nor G3588   G3814 his maidservant, G1473   G3777 nor G3588   G1016 his ox, G1473   G3777 nor G3588   G5268 his beast of burden, G1473   G3777 nor G3956 any G2934 of his beasts, G1473   G3777 nor G3745 as much G3588 [²to G4139 ³your neighbor G1473   G1510.2.3 ¹is].

  18 G3956 All G3588 the G2992 people G3708 perceived G3588 the G5456 voice, G2532 and G3588 the G2985 lamps, G2532 and G3588 the G5456 sound G3588 of the G4536 trumpet, G2532 and G3588 the G3735 mountain G2585.2 smoking. G5399 And fearing, G1161   G3956 all G3588 the G2992 people G2476 stood G3113 afar off.

  19 G2532 And G2036 they said G4314 to G* Moses, G2980 You speak G1473   G1473 to us, G2532 and G3361 do not G2980 let [²speak G4314 ³to G1473 ⁴us G3588   G2316 ¹God]! G3379 lest G599 we might die.

  20 G2532 And G3004 [²says G1473 ³to them G* ¹Moses], G2293 Be of courage! G1752 because G1063   G3588   G3985 [⁵to test G1473 ⁶you G3854 ²came G3588   G2316 ¹God G4314 ³to G1473 ⁴you], G3704 so G302 that G1096 there might be G3588 the G5401 fear G1473 of him G1722 in G1473 you, G2443 that G3361 you should not sin!
