Deuteronomy 5:3-22

  3 G3780 Not G3588 with G3962 your fathers G1473   G1303 the lord ordained G2962   G3588   G1242 this covenant, G3778   G237.1 but only G4314 with G1473 you; G1473 even you G1161   G5602 here G3956 all G2198 living G4594 today.

  4 G4383 Face G2596 to G4383 face G2980 the lord spoke G2962   G4314 to G1473 you G1722 in G3588 the G3735 mountain G1537 from G3319 the midst G3588 of the G4442 fire.

  5 G2504 And I G2476 stood G303.1 between G2962 the lord G2532 and G1473 you G1722 in G3588   G2540 that time, G1565   G312 to announce G1473 to you G3588 the G4487 sayings G2962 of the lord G3754 (for G5399 you were in fear G575 from G4383 before G3588 the G4442 fire, G2532 and G3756 you did not ascend G305   G1519 unto G3588 the G3735 mountain), G3004 saying,

  6 G1473 I G1510.2.1 am G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G3588 the G1806 one leading G1473 you G1537 from out of G1093 the land G* of Egypt, G1537 from G3624 the house G1397 of slavery.

  7 G3756 There shall not be G1510.8.6   G1473 [³to you G2316 ²gods G2087 ¹other] G4253 before G4383 my face. G1473  

  8 G3756 You shall not G4160 make G4572 for yourself G1099.3 a carving, G3761 nor G3956 any G3667 representation, G3745 as many as G1722 are in G3588 the G3772 heaven G507 upward, G2532 and G3745 as many as G1722 are in G3588 the G1093 earth G2736 below, G2532 and G3745 as many as G1722 are in G3588 the G5204 waters G5270 underneath G3588 the G1093 earth.

  9 G3756 You shall not G4352 do obeisance to G1473 them, G3762.1 nor in any way G3000 serve G1473 them; G3754 for G1473 I G1510.2.1 am G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G2316 a jealous God, G2207   G591 repaying G266 the sins G3962 of the fathers G1909 upon G5043 the children G1909 unto G5154 the third G2532 and G5067 fourth G1074 generation G3588 to the ones G3404 detesting G1473 me,

  10 G2532 and G4160 executing G1656 mercy G1519 to G5505 thousands, G3588 to the ones G25 loving G1473 me, G2532 and G3588 to the ones G5442 keeping G3588   G4366.2 my orders. G1473  

  11 G3756 You shall not G2983 take G3588 the G3686 name G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G1909 in G3152 vain; G3756   G1063 for G3361 [³shall not G2511 ⁴cleanse G2962 ¹ the lord G3588   G2316 ²your God] G1473   G3588 the G2983 one taking G3588   G3686 his name G1473   G1909 in G3152 vain.

  12 G5442 Guard G3588 the G2250 day G3588 of the G4521 Sabbaths! G37 to sanctify G1473 it G3739 in which G5158 manner G1781 [³gave charge G1473 ⁴to you G2962 ¹ the lord G3588   G2316 ²your God]! G1473  

  13 G1803 Six G2250 days G2038 you shall work, G2532 and G4160 do G3956 all G3588   G2041 your works. G1473  

  14 G3588 But the G1161   G2250 [²day G3588   G1442 ¹seventh] G4521 is a Sabbath G2962 to the lord G3588   G2316 your God. G1473   G3756 You shall not G4160 do G1722 on G1473 it G3956 any G2041 work -- G1473 you, G2532 and G3588   G5207 your son, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G2364 your daughter, G1473   G3588   G3816 your manservant, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3814 your maidservant, G1473   G3588   G1016 your ox, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G5268 your beast of burden, G1473   G2532 and G3956 every G2934 beast G1473 of yours, G2532 and G3588 the G4339 foreigner G3588   G3939 sojourning G1722 among G1473 you, G2443 that G373 [⁴should have cause to rest G3588   G3816 ¹your manservant G1473   G2532 ²and G3588   G3814 ³your maidservant] G1473   G5618 as G2532 also G1473 you.

  15 G2532 And G3403 you shall remember G3754 that G3610 you were a servant G1510.7.2   G1722 in G1093 the land G* of Egypt, G2532 and G1806 [³led G1473 ⁴you G2962 ¹ the lord G3588   G2316 ²your God] G1473   G1564 from there G1722 by G5495 [²hand G2900 ¹a fortified] G2532 and G1722 with G1023 [²arm G5308 ¹a high]. G1223 On account of G3778 this G4929 [³gave orders G1473 ⁴to you G2962 ¹ the lord G3588   G2316 ²your God], G1473   G5620 so as for G5442 you to guard G1473   G3588 the G2250 day G3588 of the G4521 Sabbaths, G2532 and G37 to sanctify G1473 it.

  16 G5091 Esteem G3588   G3962 your father G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3384 your mother! G1473   G3739 in which G5158 manner G1781 [³gave charge G1473 ⁴to you G2962 ¹ the lord G3588   G2316 ²your God], G1473   G2443 that G2095 good G1473 should be to you, G1096   G2532 and G2443 that G3118 [²a long time G1096 ¹you may be] G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 earth, G3739 of which G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G1325 gives G1473 to you.

  17 G3756 You shall not G5407 murder.

  18 G3756 You shall not G3431 commit adultery.

  19 G3756 You shall not G2813 steal.

  20 G3756 You shall not G5576 witness falsely G2596 against G3588   G4139 your neighbor G1473   G3141 [²witness G5571 ¹as a lying].

  21 G3756 You shall not G1937 desire G3588 the G1135 wife G3588   G4139 of your neighbor. G1473   G3756 You shall not G1937 desire G3588 the G3614 house G3588   G4139 of your neighbor, G1473   G3777 nor G3588   G68 his field, G1473   G3777 nor G3588   G3816 his manservant, G1473   G3777 nor G3588   G3814 his maidservant, G1473   G3777 nor G3588   G1016 his ox, G1473   G3777 nor G3588   G5268 his beast of burden, G1473   G3777 nor G3956 any G2934 beast G1473 of his, G3777 nor G3956 any thing G3745 as much as G3588   G4139 [²of your neighbor G1473   G1510.2.3 ¹is].

  22 G3778 These are G3588 the G4487 discourses G2980 the lord spoke G2962   G4314 to G3956 all G4864 your congregation G1473   G1722 in G3588 the G3735 mountain G1537 from G3319 the midst G3588 of the G4442 fire, G4655 darkness, G1105 dimness, G2366 storm -- G5456 [²voice G3173 ¹a great]; G2532 and G3756 he did not G4369 add any more . G2532 And G1125 he wrote G1473 them G1909 upon G1417 two G4109 tablets G3035 of stone, G2532 and G1325 he gave them G1473 to me.
