Acts 16:24-40

  24 G3739 who G3852 [³exhortation G5108 ²such G2983 ¹having received], G906 cast G1473 them G1519 in G3588 the G2082 inner G5438 prison, G2532 and G3588   G4228 [²their feet G1473   G805 ¹safeguarded] G1519 in G3588 the G3586 wood stocks .

  25 G2596 And towards G1161   G3588   G3317 midnight, G* Paul G2532 and G* Silas G4336 were praying, G5214 singing praise to G3588   G2316 God; G1874 [⁴heeded G1161 ¹and G1473 ⁵them G3588 ²the G1198 ³prisoners].

  26 G869 And suddenly G1161   G4578 [²earthquake G1096 ³took place G3173 ¹a great], G5620 so as G4531 to shake G3588 the G2310 foundations G3588 of the G1201 jail. G455 [⁶were opened G5037 ¹And G3916 ²immediately G3588 ⁴the G2374 ⁵doors G3956 ³all], G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G1199 bonds G447 were unfastened.

  27 G1853 [⁵awakened out of sleep G1161 ¹And G1096 ⁴being G3588 ²the G1200 ³jailer], G2532 and G1492 beholding G455 [⁵being open G3588 ¹the G2374 ²doors G3588 ³of the G5438 ⁴prison], G4685 unsheathed G3162 his sword, G3195 being about G1438 to do away with himself, G337   G3543 thinking G1628 [³to have fled G3588 ¹the G1198 ²prisoners].

  28 G5455 [³spoke out G1161 ¹And G5456 ⁵voice G3173 ⁴with a great G3588   G* ²Paul], G3004 saying, G3367 You should not G4238 exact G4572 [²on yourself G2556 ¹hurt], G537 [³all together G1063 ¹for G1510.2.4 ²we are] G1759 here.

  29 G154 And asking G1161   G5457 for lights, G1530 he rushed in, G2532 and G1790 [²trembling G1096 ¹being], G4363 he fell before G3588   G* Paul G2532 and G3588   G* Silas.

  37 G3588   G1161 But G* Paul G5346 said G4314 to G1473 them, G1194 Having flayed G1473 us G1219 in public, G178 uncondemned G444 men, G* being Romans, G5224   G906 they cast us G1519 into G5438 prison, G2532 and G3568 now G2977 in private G1473 they cast us out?   39 G2532 And G2064 having come, G3870 they appealed to G1473 them; G2532 and G1806 having led them out, G2065 they asked them G1831 to go forth out G3588 of the G4172 city.

  40 G1831 And having gone forth G1161   G1537 from out of G3588 the G5438 prison, G1525 they entered G4314 to G3588   G* Lydia; G2532 and G1492 having seen G3588 the G80 brethren, G3870 they comforted G1473 them, G2532 and G1831 they went forth.
