3 G1492 He beheld G1722 in G3705 a vision G5320 openly G5616 about G5610 [²hour G1766 ¹ the ninth] G3588 of the G2250 day G32 an angel G3588 G2316 of God G1525 entering G4314 to G1473 him, G2532 and G2036 having said G1473 to him, G* Cornelius.

4 G3588 G1161 And G816 gazing upon G1473 him, G2532 and G1719 [²thrown into fear G1096 ¹becoming], G2036 he said, G5100 What G1510.2.3 is it, G2962 O Lord? G2036 And he said G1161 G1473 to him, G3588 G4335 Your prayers G1473 G2532 and G3588 G1654 your charity G1473 G305 ascended G1519 for G3422 a memorial G1799 before G3588 G2316 God.

5 G2532 And G3568 now G3992 send forth G1519 [²unto G* ³Joppa G435 ¹men], G2532 and G3343 fetch G* Simon, G3739 who G1941 is called G* Peter.

6 G3778 This one G3579 lodges G3844 with G5100 a certain G* Simon, G1038 a tanner, G3739 whose G1510.2.3 house is G3614 G3844 by G2281 the sea; G3778 this one G2980 shall tell G1473 to you G5100 what G1473 is necessary for you G4160 to do.

7 G5613 And when G1161 G565 [⁵departed G3588 ¹the G32 ²angel G3588 G2980 ³speaking G3588 G* ⁴to Cornelius], G5455 having called G1417 two G3588 G3610 of his servants, G1473 G2532 and G4757 [²soldier G2152 ¹a pious] G3588 of the ones G4342 attending constantly G1473 to him,

8 G2532 and G1834 having described G1473 to them G537 all things, G649 he sent G1473 them G1519 unto G3588 G* Joppa.

9 G3588 And the G1161 G1887 next day, G3596 as those are journeying G1565 G2532 and G3588 [²the G4172 ³city G1448 ¹approaching], G305 Peter ascended G* G1909 upon G3588 the G1430 roof G4336 to pray G4012 around G5610 [²hour G1622 ¹ the sixth].

11 G2532 And G2334 he viewed G3588 G3772 heaven G455 being opened; G2532 and G2597 there descending G1909 unto G1473 him G4632 a certain item G5100 G5613 as G3607 [²piece of cloth G3173 ¹a great], G5064 the four G746 corners G1210 being tied, G2532 and G2524 being lowered G1909 unto G3588 the G1093 earth;

12 G1722 in G3739 which G5224 were G3956 all G3588 the G5074 four-footed creatures G3588 of the G1093 earth, G2532 and G3588 the G2342 wild beasts, G2532 and G3588 the G2062 reptiles, G2532 and G3588 the G4071 birds G3588 of the G3772 heaven.

13 G2532 And G1096 there came G5456 a voice G4314 to G1473 him, G450 Rise up, G* Peter, G2380 sacrifice G2532 and G2068 eat!

14 G3588 G1161 And G* Peter G2036 said, G3365 By no means, G2962 O Lord; G3754 for G3763 at no time G2068 ate I G3956 anything G2839 common G2228 or G169 unclean.

15 G2532 And G5456 a voice G3825 again G1537 a second time G1208 G4314 came to G1473 him, G3739 What G3588 G2316 God G2511 cleansed G1473 you are not G3361 G2840 to make unclean!

16 G3778 And this G1161 G1096 happened G1909 unto G5151 three times . G2532 And G3825 again G353 [³was taken up G3588 ¹the G4632 ²item] G1519 into G3588 the G3772 heaven.

17 G5613 And as G1161 G1722 [³within G1438 ⁴himself G1280 ²was perplexed G3588 G* ¹Peter] G5100 what G302 ever G1510.4 [³may be G3588 ¹the G3705 ²vision] G3739 which G1492 he beheld, G2532 that G2400 behold, G3588 the G435 men, G3588 the ones G649 being sent G575 from G3588 G* Cornelius G1331 having inquired G3588 about the G3614 house G* of Simon, G2186 stood G1909 at G3588 the G4440 vestibule.

18 G2532 And G5455 calling out G4441 they inquired, G1487 Does G* Simon, G3588 the one G1941 being called G* Peter, G1759 [²here G3579 ¹lodge]?

19 G3588 G1161 And G* Peter G1760 pondering G4012 over G3588 the G3705 vision, G2036 [³said G1473 ⁴to him G3588 ¹the G4151 ²spirit], G2400 Behold, G435 [²men G5140 ¹three] G2212 seek G1473 you;

20 G235 and G450 having risen up G2597 go down G2532 and G4198 go G4862 with G1473 them! G3367 [²nothing G1252 ¹examining], G1360 because G1473 I G649 have sent G1473 them.

21 G2597 [³having gone down G1161 ¹And G* ²Peter] G4314 to G3588 the G435 men, G2036 said, G2400 Behold, G1473 I am G1510.2.1 G3739 whom G2212 you seek. G5100 What G3588 is the G156 reason G1223 for G3739 which G3918 you are at hand?

22 G3588 And they G1161 G2036 said, G* Cornelius, G1543 a centurion, G435 [²man G1342 ¹a righteous] G2532 and G5399 one fearing G3588 G2316 God, G3140 and borne witness G5037 G5259 by G3650 the entire G3588 G1484 nation G3588 of the G* Jews, G5537 received a divine message G5259 by G32 [²angel G39 ¹a holy] G3343 to fetch G1473 you G1519 unto G3588 G3624 his house, G1473 G2532 and G191 to hear G4487 words G3844 from G1473 you.

23 G1528 Then having invited G3767 G1473 them, G3579 he lodged them . G3588 And the G1161 G1887 next day G3588 G* Peter G1831 went forth G4862 with G1473 them; G2532 and G5100 certain ones G3588 of the G80 brethren G3588 G575 from G* Joppa G4905 went together G1473 with him.

25 G5613 And as G1161 G1096 it came to pass at G1525 Peter entering, G3588 G* G4876 having met G1473 him, G3588 G* Cornelius, G4098 having fallen G1909 at G3588 the G4228 feet, G4352 did obeisance.

26 G3588 G1161 But G* Peter G1453 raised G1473 him, G3004 saying, G450 Rise up! G2504 I also G1473 myself G444 am a man. G1510.2.1

27 G2532 And G4926 accompanying G1473 him, G1525 he entered G2532 and G2147 found G4905 [²were come together G4183 ¹many].

28 G5346 And he said G5037 G4314 to G1473 them, G1473 You G1987 know G5613 that G111 it is unlawful G1510.2.3 G435 for a man, G* a Jew, G2853 to join G2228 or G4334 approach G246 a philistine. G2532 And G1473 [³to me G3588 G2316 ¹God G1166 ²showed G3367 ⁴not ⁵one G2839 ⁷common G2228 ⁸or G169 ⁹unclean G3004 ²to call G444 ⁶man].

29 G1352 Therefore G2532 also G369 indisputably G2064 I came G3343 having been fetched. G4441 I inquire G3767 then G5100 to what G3056 matter G3343 you fetched G1473 me?

30 G2532 And G3588 G* Cornelius G5346 said, G575 From G5067 four G2250 days ago G3360 until G3778 this G3588 G5610 hour G1510.7.1 I was G3522 fasting, G2532 and G3588 the G1766 ninth G5610 hour G4336 praying G1722 in G3588 G3624 my house; G1473 G2532 and G2400 behold, G435 a man G2476 stood G1799 before G1473 me G1722 in G2066 [²attire G2986 ¹bright].

31 G2532 And G5346 he says, G* Cornelius, G1522 [³was listened to G1473 ¹your G3588 G4335 ²prayer], G2532 and G3588 G1654 your gifts of charity G1473 G3403 were remembered G1799 before G3588 G2316 God.

32 G3992 Send forth G3767 then G1519 unto G* Joppa, G2532 and G3333 call for G* Simon G3739 who G1941 is called G* Peter! G3778 this one G3579 lodges G1722 in G3614 the house G* of Simon, G1038 a tanner, G3844 by G2281 the sea; G3739 who, G3854 having come, G2980 shall speak G1473 to you.

33 G1824 Immediately G3767 then G3992 I sent G4314 to G1473 you; G1473 and you G5037 G2573 [²well G4160 ¹did] G3854 having come. G3568 Now G3767 then, G3956 all G1473 we G1799 before G3588 G2316 God G3918 are at hand G191 to hear G3956 all G3588 the things G4367 assigned G1473 to you G5259 by G3588 G2316 God.

36 G3588 The G3056 word G3739 which G649 he sent G3588 to the G5207 sons G* of Israel, G2097 announcing good news, G1515 peace G1223 through G* Jesus G5547 Christ, G3778 this one G1510.2.3 is G3956 Lord of all. G2962

37 G1473 You G1492 know G3588 the G1096 [²taking place G4487 ¹thing] G2596 in G3650 all G3588 G* Judea, G756 beginning G575 from G3588 G* Galilee, G3326 after G3588 the G908 immersion G3739 which G2784 John proclaimed. G*
