  2 G2532 And G2597 he went down G1519 at G5056 the end G2094 of years G4314 to G* Ahab G1519 in G* Samaria. G2532 And G2380 [2sacrificed G1473 3to him G* 1Ahab] G4263 sheep G2532 and G3448 calves G1519 in G4128 abundance, G2532 and G3588 to the G2992 people G3588   G3326 with G1473 him; G2532 and G3982 he persuaded G1473 him G3588   G4872 to go up G3326 with G1473 him G1519 unto G* Ramoth G* Gilead.
  3 G2532 And G2036 [4said G* 1Ahab G935 2king G* 3of Israel] G4314 to G* Jehoshaphat G935 king G* of Judah, G1487 Will G4198 you go G3326 with G1473 me G1519 to G* Ramoth G3588   G* of Gilead? G2532 And G2036 he said G1473 to him, G5613 As G1473 you, G3779 so G2532 also G1473 I; G2532 and G5613 as G3588   G2992 your people, G1473   G2532 also G3588   G2992 my people; G1473   G2532 even G3326 with G1473 you G1519 for G4171 war.
  4 G2532 And G2036 Jehoshaphat said G*   G3588 to the G935 king G* of Israel, G2212 Let us seek G1211 indeed G4594 today G3588 the G3056 word G2962 of the lord!
  5 G2532 And G4863 [4gathered G3588 1the G935 2king G* 3of Israel] G3588 the G4396 prophets -- G5071 four hundred G435 men. G2532 And G2036 he said G1473 to them, G1487 Shall G4198 I go G1519 to G* Ramoth G* Gilead G1519 for G4171 war, G2228 or G1907 should I wait? G2532 And G2036 they said, G305 Ascend! G2532 and G1325 God shall give them G3588   G2316   G1519 into G3588 the G5495 hands G3588 of the G935 king.
  6 G2532 And G2036 Jehoshaphat said, G*   G3756 Is there not G1510.2.3   G5602 here G4396 a prophet G3588 of the G2962 lord G2089 yet, G2532 that G1934 we shall seek anxiously G3844 by G1473 him?
  7 G2532 And G2036 [4said G3588 1the G935 2 the king G* 3of Israel] G4314 to G* Jehoshaphat, G1510.2.3 There is G435 [2man G1520 1one] G3588   G2212 to seek G3588 the G2962 lord G1223 through G1473 him, G2532 and G1473 I G3404 detest G1473 him; G3754 for G3756 he is not G1510.2.3   G4395 prophesying G4012 [3concerning G1473 4me G1519 1for G18 2good things], G3754 for G3956 all G3588   G2250 his days G1473   G1519 are for G2556 bad things .   8 G2532 And G2564 [4called G3588 1the G935 2king G* 3of Israel G2135 6eunuch G1520 5one], G2532 and G2036 said, G5034 Quickly G2564 call G* Michaiah G5207 son G* of Imla!
  9 G2532 And G3588 the G935 king G* of Israel G2532 and G* Jehoshaphat G935 king G* of Judah G2521 were sitting G1538 each G1909 upon G2362 his throne, G1473   G1746 being clothed G4749 with robes; G2521 they sat down G1722 in G3588 the G2149 broad space G3588 at the G2374 door G* of Samaria, G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G4396 prophets G4395 were prophesying G1726 before G1473 them.
  10 G2532 And G4160 [4made G1438 5for himself G* 1Zedekiah G5207 2son G* 3of Chenaanah] G2768 horns G4603 of iron, G2532 and G2036 he said, G3592 Thus G3004 says G2962 the lord; G1722 With G3778 these G2768.3 you shall gore G3588 the G* Syrian G2193 until G302 whenever G4931 he should be finished off entirely.
  11 G2532 And G3956 all G3588 the G4396 prophets G4395 prophesied G3779 thus, G3004 saying, G305 Ascend G1519 unto G* Ramoth G* Gilead! G2532 and G2137 you shall prosper in the way, G2532 and G1325 the lord will give it G2962   G1519 into G5495 the hands G3588 of the G935 king.
  12 G2532 And G3588 the G32 messenger, G3588 the G4198 one going G3588   G2564 to call G3588   G* Michaiah, G2980 spoke G1473 to him, G3004 saying, G2400 Behold, G2980 [3spoke G3588 1the G4396 2prophets G1722 5with G4750 7mouth G1520 6one G18 4good things] G4012 concerning G3588 the G935 king. G2532 And G1096 let [3be G1211 2indeed G3588   G3056 1your words] G1473   G5613 as G1520 one G1473 of them! G2532 and G2980 you shall speak G18 good things .
  13 G2532 And G2036 Michaiah said, G*   G2198 As the lord lives, G2962   G3754 that G3739 what G302 ever G2036 God should say G3588   G2316   G4314 to G1473 me, G1473 it G2980 I shall speak.
  14 G2532 And G2064 he came G4314 to G3588 the G935 king. G2532 And G2036 [3said G1473 4to him G3588 1the G935 2king], G* Michaiah, G1487 Shall G4198 I go G1519 to G* Ramoth G* Gilead G1519 for G4171 war, G2228 or G1907 should I wait? G2532 And G2036 he said, G305 Ascend! G2532 and G2137 your way shall prosper, G2532 and G1325 they shall be given G1519 into G5495 your hands. G1473  
  15 G2532 And G2036 [3said G1473 4to him G3588 1the G935 2king], G4212 How often G3726 shall I bind you by an oath G1473   G2443 that G3361 you should not G2980 speak G4314 to G1473 me G4133 except G3588 the G225 truth G1722 in G3686 the name G2962 of the lord ?
  16 G2532 And G2036 Michaiah said, G*   G1492 I see G3588   G* Israel G3956 all G1289 being scattered G1722 in G3588 the G3735 mountains, G5613 as G4263 sheep G3739 in which G3756 there is no G1510.2.3   G4166 shepherd. G2532 And G2036 the lord said, G2962   G3756 [2have no G2192   G2233 3leader G3778 1These]. G390 Let them [2return G1538 1each] G1519 to G3588   G3624 his house G1473   G1722 in G1515 peace.
  17 G2532 And G2036 [4said G3588 1the G935 2king G* 3of Israel] G4314 to G* Jehoshaphat, G3756 Did I not G2036 say G1473 to you G3754 that G3756 he would not G4395 prophesy G4012 for G1473 my G18 good things, G237.1 but only G2556 bad things ?
  18 G2532 And G2036 Michaiah said, G*   G3756 It is not G3779 so. G191 Hear G3056 the word G2962 of the lord! G1492 I beheld G3588 the G2962 lord G2521 sitting G1909 upon G2362 his throne, G1473   G2532 and G3956 all G1411 the force G3588 of the G3772 heaven G3936 stood beside G1537 at G1188 his right G1473   G2532 and G1537 at G710 his left.   19 G2532 And G2036 the lord said, G2962   G5100 Who G538 shall deceive G3588   G* Ahab G935 king G* of Israel, G2532 that G305 he shall ascend, G2532 and G4098 shall fall G1519 in G* Ramoth G* Gilead? G2532 And G2036 this one spoke G3778   G3779 thus, G2532 and G3778 this other one G2036 spoke G3779 thus.
  20 G2532 And G1831 came forth G3588 the G4151 spirit, G2532 and G2476 stood G1799 in the presence of G2962 the lord, G2532 and G2036 said, G1473 I G538 shall deceive G1473 him. G2532 And G2036 the lord said, G2962   G1722 By G5100 what means ?
  21 G2532 And G2036 he said, G1831 I shall go forth, G2532 and G1510.8.1 I will be G4151 [2spirit G5571 1a lying] G1722 in G4750 the mouth G3956 of all G3588   G4396 his prophets. G1473   G2532 And G2036 he said, G538 You shall deceive, G2532 and G1410 shall prevail. G1831 Go forth, G2532 and G4160 do G3779 so!
  22 G2532 And G3568 now, G2400 behold, G1325 the lord put G2962   G4151 [2spirit G5571 1a lying] G1722 in G4750 the mouths G3956 of all G3588   G4396 [2your prophets G1473   G3778 1these], G2532 and G2962 the lord G2980 spoke G1909 against G1473 you G2556 for bad things .
  23 G2532 And G1448 [4approached G* 1Zedekiah G5207 2son G* 3of Chenaanah] G2532 and G3960 struck G3588   G* Michaiah G1909 upon G3588 the G4600 jaw, G2532 and G2036 said G1473 to him, G4169 By what G3588   G3598 way G3928 passed G4151 the spirit G2962 of the lord G575 from G1473 me G3588   G2980 to speak G4314 to G1473 you?
  24 G2532 And G2036 Michaiah said, G*   G2400 Behold, G1473 you G3708 shall see G1722 in G3588   G2250 that day G1565   G1722 in G3739 which G1525 you shall enter G5009 closet G1537 by G5009 closet G3588   G2633.1 to hide.
  25 G2532 And G2036 [3said G935 1 the king G* 2of Israel], G2983 Take G3588   G* Michaiah G2532 and G654 return him G4314 to G* Amon G3588 the G758 ruler G3588 of the G4172 city, G2532 and G4314 to G* Joash G5207 the son G3588 of the G935 king.
  26 G2532 And G2046 you shall say, G3779 Thus G2036 says G3588 the G935 king, G5087 Put G3778 this one G1519 into G3624 [2house G5438 1a prison], G2532 and G2068 let him eat G740 bread G2347 of affliction G2532 and G5204 water G2347 of affliction!   29 G2532 And G2036 [3said G935 1 the king G* 2of Israel] G4314 to G* Jehoshaphat, G2619 I shall cover up G2532 and G1525 enter G1519 into G3588 the G4171 battle; G2532 but G1473 you G1746 put on G3588   G2441 my clothes! G1473   G2532 And G4780 [3covered up G935 1 the king G* 2of Israel], G2532 and G1525 entered G1519 into G3588 the G4171 battle.
  30 G2532 And G935 the king G* of Syria G1781 gave charge G3588 to the G758 heads G3588 of the G716 chariots, G3588 to the ones G3326 with G1473 him, G3004 saying, G3361 Do not G4170 wage war G3588 with the G3397 small G2532 and G3588 the G3173 great, G237.1 but G3588 the G935 king G* of Israel G3440 only.

  32 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G5613 as G1492 [5saw G3588 1the G758 2ones in charge G3588 3of the G716 4chariots] G3754 that G3756 it was not G1510.7.3   G3588 the G935 king G* of Israel, G2532 that G654 they turned G575 from G1473 him.
  33 G2532 And G435 a man G1780.2 stretched tight G5115 a bow G2155.2 skillfully G2532 and G3960 struck G3588 the G935 king G* of Israel G303.1 between G3588 the G4153.3 lungs, G2532 and G303.1 between G3588 the G2382 chest plate . G2532 And G2036 he said G3588 to the G2259.1 charioteer, G1994 Turn G3588   G5495 your hand, G1473   G2532 and G1806 lead G1473 me G1537 from G3588 the G4171 battle! G3754 for G5135 I am wounded.

G1565   G2532 And G3588 the G935 king G* of Israel G1510.7.3 was G2476 set G1909 upon G3588 the G716 chariot G1828.2 right opposite G* Syria G2193 until G2073 evening, G2532 and G599 he died G1416 in the going down G3588 of the G2246 sun.
