  30 G2532 And G654 he turned G575 from G1473 him G1519 unto G3313 [²rank G2087 ¹another], G2532 and G2036 he said G3779 thus. G2532 And G611 they answered G1473 to him G2596 according to G3588 the G4487 word G3588   G4387 formerly.

  31 G2532 And G191 they heard G3588 the G3056 words G* of David G3739 which G2980 he spoke, G2532 and G312 they were announced G1799 before G* Saul.

  32 G2532 And G2036 David said G*   G4314 to G* Saul, G3361 Let not G4844.1 [⁴be downcast G3588 ¹the G2588 ²heart G3588   G2962 ³of my master] G1473   G1909 over G1473 him! G3588   G1401 Your servant G1473   G4198 will go G2532 and G4170 do battle G3326 with G3588   G246 this Philistine. G3778

  36 G2532 And G3588 [³the G3023 ⁴lion G2532 ⁵and G3588 ⁶the G715 ⁷bear G5180 ²beat G3588   G1401 ¹your servant], G1473   G2532 and G1510.8.3 [⁴will be G3588   G246 ³Philistine G3778   G3778 ¹this G3588   G564 ²uncircumcised] G5613 as G1520 one G3778 of these G3739 who G3679 berates G3904.3 the battle array G2316 of the living God.   44 G2532 And G2036 [³said G3588 ¹the G246 ²Philistine] G4314 to G* David, G1204 Come here G4314 to G1473 me! G2532 and G1325 I will give G3588   G4561 your flesh G1473   G3588 to G4071 the birds G3588   G3772 of heaven, G2532 and G3588 to the G2342 wild beasts G3588 of the G1093 earth.

  45 G2532 And G2036 David said G*   G4314 to G3588 the G246 Philistine, G1473 You G2064 come G4314 to G1473 me G1722 with G4501 a broadsword, G2532 and G1722 with G1393.2 a spear, G2532 and G1722 with G785 a shield. G1473 But I G1161   G4198 come G4314 to G1473 you G1722 in G3686 the name G2962 of the lord G2316 God G4519 of hosts, G2316 the God G3904.3 of the battle array G* of Israel, G3739 whom G3679 you berate G4594 today.

G2532 And G* David G5035.1 hastened, G2532 and G1831 came forth G2532 even G1473 himself G1519 for G3588 the G3904.3 battle array G1519 for G4877 meeting G3588 the G246 Philistine.

  49 G2532 And G1614 David stretched out G*   G3588   G5495 his hand G1473   G1519 into G3588 the G2504.3 canteen, G2532 and G2983 he took G1564 from there G3037 [²stone G1520 ¹one], G2532 and G4969.1 he slung it, G2532 and G3960 he struck G3588 the G246 Philistine G1519 in G3588   G3359 his forehead; G1473   G2532 and G1240.1 [³penetrated G3588 ¹the G3037 ²stone] G1909 unto G3588   G3359 his forehead; G1473   G2532 and G4098 he fell G1909 upon G4383 his face G1473   G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 ground.

  50 G2532 And G2901 David powered G*   G5228 over G3588 the G245 Philistine G3588 with the G4969.2 sling, G2532 and G3588 with the G3037 stone G1722 in G3588   G2250 that day.   52 G2532 And G450 [⁵rose up G435 ¹ the men G* ²of Israel G2532 ³and G* ⁴Judah], G2532 and G214 shouted, G2532 and G2614 pursued G3694 after G3588 the G246 Philistines G2193 unto G3588   G1529 the entrance G* of Gath, G2532 and G2193 unto G3588 the G4439 gate G* of Ekron. G2532 And G4098 [⁴fell G5134.1 ¹ the slain G3588 ²of the G246 ³Philistines] G1722 in G3588 the G3598 way G3588 of the G4439 gates, G2532 and G2193 unto G* Gath, G2532 and G2193 unto G* Ekron.

  53 G2532 And G390 [³returned G435 ¹ the men G* ²of Israel] G1578 turning aside G3694 going after G3588 the G246 Philistines, G2532 and G4307.1 they plundered G3588   G3925 their camps. G1473
