  19 G2532 And G1510.8.3 it will be G1437 if G3024 in forgetfulness G1950 you should forget G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G2532 and G4198 should go G3694 after G2316 other gods, G2087   G2532 and G3000 should serve G1473 to them, G2532 and G4352 should do obeisance to G1473 them, G1263 I testify G1473 to you G4594 today G3588 on G5037 both G3772 heaven G2532 and G3588 the G1093 earth G3754 that G684 by destruction G622 you shall be destroyed.
  20 G2505 As G2532 also G3588 the G3062 remaining G1484 nations, G3745 as many as G3588 the G2962 lord G622 destroys G4253 before G4383 your face, G1473   G3779 so G622 shall you be destroyed; G446.2 because G3756 you did not G191 hearken to G3588 the G5456 voice G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 your God.   2 H2142 וזכרת And thou shalt remember H853 את   H3605 כל all H1870 הדרך the way H834 אשׁר which H1980 הוליכך led H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H2088 זה thee these H705 ארבעים forty H8141 שׁנה years H4057 במדבר in the wilderness, H4616 למען to H6031 ענתך humble H5254 לנסתך thee, to prove H3045 לדעת thee, to know H853 את   H834 אשׁר what H3824 בלבבך in thine heart, H8104 התשׁמר whether thou wouldest keep H4687 מצותו his commandments, H518 אם or H3808 לא׃ not.
  3 H6031 ויענך And he humbled H7456 וירעבך thee, and suffered thee to hunger, H398 ויאכלך and fed H853 את   H4478 המן manna, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not, H3045 ידעת thou knewest H3808 ולא neither H3045 ידעון know; H1 אבתיך did thy fathers H4616 למען that H3045 הודיעך he might make thee know H3588 כי that H3808 לא doth not H5921 על by H3899 הלחם bread H905 לבדו only, H2421 יחיה live H120 האדם man H3588 כי but H5921 על by H3605 כל every H4161 מוצא that proceedeth out H6310 פי of the mouth H3068 יהוה of the LORD H2421 יחיה live.   4 H8071 שׂמלתך Thy raiment H3808 לא waxed not old H1086 בלתה waxed not old H5921 מעליך upon H7272 ורגלך did thy foot H3808 לא thee, neither H1216 בצקה swell, H2088 זה these H705 ארבעים forty H8141 שׁנה׃ years.
  5 H3045 וידעת Thou shalt also consider H5973 עם in H3824 לבבך thine heart, H3588 כי that, H834 כאשׁר as H3256 ייסר chasteneth H376 אישׁ a man H853 את   H1121 בנו his son, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3256 מיסרך׃ chasteneth
  6 H8104 ושׁמרת Therefore thou shalt keep H853 את   H4687 מצות the commandments H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהיך thy God, H1980 ללכת to walk H1870 בדרכיו in his ways, H3372 וליראה and to fear H853 אתו׃  
  7 H3588 כי For H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H935 מביאך bringeth H413 אל thee into H776 ארץ land, H2896 טובה a good H776 ארץ a land H5158 נחלי of brooks H4325 מים of water, H5869 עינת of fountains H8415 ותהמת and depths H3318 יצאים that spring out H1237 בבקעה of valleys H2022 ובהר׃ and hills;
  8 H776 ארץ A land H2406 חטה of wheat, H8184 ושׂערה and barley, H1612 וגפן and vines, H8384 ותאנה and fig trees, H7416 ורמון and pomegranates; H776 ארץ a land H2132 זית olive, H8081 שׁמן of oil H1706 ודבשׁ׃ and honey;
  9 H776 ארץ A land H834 אשׁר wherein H3808 לא without H4544 במסכנת scarceness, H398 תאכל thou shalt eat H3899 בה לחם bread H3808 לא thou shalt not H2637 תחסר lack H3605 כל any H776 בה ארץ in it; a land H834 אשׁר whose H68 אבניה stones H1270 ברזל iron, H2042 ומהרריה and out of whose hills H2672 תחצב thou mayest dig H5178 נחשׁת׃ brass.
  10 H398 ואכלת When thou hast eaten H7646 ושׂבעת and art full, H1288 וברכת then thou shalt bless H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5921 על for H776 הארץ land H2896 הטבה the good H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן׃ he hath given
  11 H8104 השׁמר Beware H6435 לך פן that thou forget not H7911 תשׁכח that thou forget not H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1115 לבלתי in not H8104 שׁמר keeping H4687 מצותיו his commandments, H4941 ומשׁפטיו and his judgments, H2708 וחקתיו and his statutes, H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום׃ thee this day:
  12 H6435 פן Lest H398 תאכל thou hast eaten H7646 ושׂבעת and art full, H1004 ובתים houses, H2896 טבים goodly H1129 תבנה and hast built H3427 וישׁבת׃ and dwelt
  13 H1241 ובקרך And thy herds H6629 וצאנך and thy flocks H7235 ירבין multiply, H3701 וכסף and thy silver H2091 וזהב and thy gold H7235 ירבה is multiplied, H3605 לך וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H7235 לך ירבה׃ thou hast is multiplied;
  14 H7311 ורם be lifted up, H3824 לבבך Then thine heart H7911 ושׁכחת and thou forget H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H3318 המוציאך which brought thee forth H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H1004 מבית from the house H5650 עבדים׃ of bondage;
  15 H1980 המוליכך Who led H4057 במדבר wilderness, H1419 הגדל thee through that great H3372 והנורא and terrible H5175 נחשׁ serpents, H8314 שׂרף fiery H6137 ועקרב and scorpions, H6774 וצמאון and drought, H834 אשׁר where H369 אין no H4325 מים water; H3318 המוציא who brought thee forth H4325 לך מים water H6697 מצור out of the rock H2496 החלמישׁ׃ of flint;
  16 H398 המאכלך Who fed H4478 מן with manna, H4057 במדבר thee in the wilderness H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא not, H3045 ידעון knew H1 אבתיך thy fathers H4616 למען that H6031 ענתך he might humble H4616 ולמען thee, and that H5254 נסתך he might prove H3190 להיטבך thee, to do thee good H319 באחריתך׃ at thy latter end;
  17 H559 ואמרת And thou say H3824 בלבבך in thine heart, H3581 כחי My power H6108 ועצם and the might H3027 ידי of hand H6213 עשׂה hath gotten H853 לי את   H2428 החיל wealth. H2088 הזה׃ me this
  18 H2142 וזכרת But thou shalt remember H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God: H3588 כי for H1931 הוא he H5414 הנתן that giveth H3581 לך כח thee power H6213 לעשׂות to get H2428 חיל wealth, H4616 למען that H6965 הקים he may establish H853 את   H1285 בריתו his covenant H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע he swore H1 לאבתיך unto thy fathers, H3117 כיום day.   19 H1961 והיה And it shall be, H518 אם if H7911 שׁכח thou do at all forget H7911 תשׁכח thou do at all forget H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1980 והלכת and walk H310 אחרי after H430 אלהים gods, H312 אחרים other H5647 ועבדתם and serve H7812 והשׁתחוית them, and worship H5749 להם העדתי them, I testify H3117 בכם היום against you this day H3588 כי that H6 אבד ye shall surely perish. H6 תאבדון׃ ye shall surely perish.
  20 H1471 כגוים As the nations H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H6 מאביד destroyeth H6440 מפניכם before your face, H3651 כן so H6 תאבדון shall ye perish; H6118 עקב because H3808 לא ye would not H8085 תשׁמעון be obedient H6963 בקול unto the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיכם׃ your God.
Geneva(i) 1 Ye shall keepe all the commandements which I command thee this day, for to doe them: that ye may liue, and be multiplied, and goe in, and possesse the land which the Lord sware vnto your fathers. 2 And thou shalt remember all ye way which the Lord thy God led thee this fourtie yeere in the wildernesse, for to humble thee and to proue thee, to knowe what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keepe his commandements or no. 3 Therefore he humbled thee, and made thee hungry, and fed thee with MAN, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know it, that he might teache thee that man liueth not by bread onely, but by euery worde that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord, doth a man liue. 4 Thy raiment waxed not olde vpon thee, neither did thy foote swell those fourtie yeeres. 5 Knowe therefore in thine heart, that as a man nourtereth his sonne, so the Lord thy God nourtereth thee. 6 Therefore shalt thou keepe the commandements of the Lord thy God, that thou mayest walke in his wayes, and feare him. 7 For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land in the which are riuers of water and fountaines, and depthes that spring out of valleis and mountaines: 8 A land of wheate and barley, and of vineyards, and figtrees, and pomegranates: a land of oyle oliue and hony: 9 A land wherein thou shalt eate bread without scarcitie, neither shalt thou lacke any thing therein: a land whose stones are yron, and out of whose mountaines thou shalt digge brasse. 10 And when thou hast eaten and filled thy selfe, thou shalt blesse the Lord thy God for the good land, which he hath giuen thee. 11 Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, not keeping his commandements, and his lawes, and his ordinances, which I commaund thee this day: 12 Lest when thou hast eaten and filled thy selfe, and hast built goodly houses and dwelt therein, 13 And thy beastes, and thy sheepe are increased, and thy siluer and golde is multiplied, and all that thou hast is increased, 14 Then thine heart be lifted vp and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, 15 Who was thy guide in the great and terrible wildernes (wherein were fierie serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where was no water, who brought forth water for thee out of ye rock of flint: 16 Who fed thee in the wildernesse with MAN, which thy fathers knewe not) to humble thee, and and to proue thee, that he might doe thee good at thy latter ende. 17 Beware least thou say in thine heart, My power, and the strength of mine owne hand hath prepared me this abundance. 18 But remember the Lord thy God: for it is he which giueth thee power to get substance to establish his couenant which he sware vnto thy fathers, as appeareth this day. 19 And if thou forget the Lord thy God, and walke after other gods, and serue them, and worship them, I testifie vnto you this day that ye shall surely perish. 20 As the nations which the Lord destroyeth before you, so ye shall perish, because ye woulde not be obedient vnto the voyce of the Lord your God.

  20 H1471 As the nations H3068 which the LORD H6 [H8688] destroyeth H6440 before your face H6 [H8799] , so shall ye perish H6118 ; because H8085 [H8799] ye would not be obedient H6963 to the voice H3068 of the LORD H430 your God.
YLT(i) 1 `All the command which I am commanding thee to-day ye observe to do, so that ye live, and have multiplied, and gone in, and possessed the land which Jehovah hath sworn to your fathers; 2 and thou hast remembered all the way which Jehovah thy God hath caused thee to go these forty years in the wilderness, in order to humble thee to try thee, to know that which is in thy heart, whether thou dost keep His commands or not. 3 `And He doth humble thee, and cause thee to hunger and doth cause thee to eat the manna (which thou hast not known, even thy fathers have not known), in order to cause thee to know that not by bread alone doth man live, but by every produce of the mouth of Jehovah man doth live. 4 `Thy raiment hath not worn out from off thee, and thy foot hath not swelled these forty years, 5 and thou hast known, with thy heart, that as a man chastiseth his son Jehovah thy God is chastising thee, 6 and thou hast kept the commands of Jehovah thy God, to walk in His ways, and to fear Him. 7 `For Jehovah thy God is bringing thee in unto a good land, a land of brooks of waters, of fountains, and of depths coming out in valley and in mountain: 8 a land of wheat, and barley, and vine, and fig, and pomegranate; a land of oil olive and honey; 9 a land in which without scarcity thou dost eat bread, thou dost not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of its mountains thou dost dig brass;
10 and thou hast eaten, and been satisfied, and hast blessed Jehovah thy God, on the good land which he hath given to thee. 11 `Take heed to thyself, lest thou forget Jehovah thy God so as not to keep His commands, and His judgments, and His statutes which I am commanding thee to-day; 12 lest thou eat, and hast been satisfied, and good houses dost build, and hast inhabited; 13 and thy herd and thy flock be multiplied, and silver and gold be multiplied to thee; and all that is thine be multiplied: 14 `And thy heart hath been high, and thou hast forgotten Jehovah thy God (who is bringing thee out of the land of Egypt, out of a house of servants; 15 who is causing thee to go in the great and the terrible wilderness--burning serpent, and scorpion, and thirst--where there is no water; who is bringing out to thee waters from the flinty rock; 16 who is causing thee to eat manna in the wilderness, which thy fathers have not known, in order to humble thee, and in order to try thee, to do thee good in thy latter end), 17 and thou hast said in thy heart, My power, and the might of my hand, hath made for me this wealth: 18 `And thou hast remembered Jehovah thy God, for He it is who is giving to thee power to make wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He hath sworn to thy fathers as at this day. 19 `And it hath been--if thou really forget Jehovah thy God, and hast gone after other gods, and served them, and bowed thyself to them, I have testified against you to-day that ye do utterly perish; 20 as the nations whom Jehovah is destroying from your presence, so ye perish; because ye hearken not to the voice of Jehovah your God.
ASV(i) 1 All the commandment which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Jehovah sware unto your fathers. 2 And thou shalt remember all the way which Jehovah thy God hath led thee these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble thee, to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not. 3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by everything that proceedeth out of the mouth of Jehovah doth man live. 4 Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. 5 And thou shalt consider in thy heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee. 6 And thou shalt keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. 7 For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; 8 a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig-trees and pomegranates; a land of olive-trees and honey; 9 a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig copper. 10 And thou shalt eat and be full, and thou shalt bless Jehovah thy God for the good land which he hath given thee. 11 Beware lest thou forget Jehovah thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: 12 lest, when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; 13 and when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied; 14 then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget Jehovah thy God, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; 15 who led thee through the great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint; 16 who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not; that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end: 17 and lest thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand hath gotten me this wealth. 18 But thou shalt remember Jehovah thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as at this day. 19 And it shall be, if thou shalt forget Jehovah thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. 20 As the nations that Jehovah maketh to perish before you, so shall ye perish; because ye would not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah your God.
