G2532 And G2068 they shall eat.   27 G3754 For G1473 I G1987 know G3588 the G2042.1 aggravation G1473 caused by you, G2532 and G3588   G5137 [3neck G1473 1your G3588   G4642 2hard].   28 G1577.1 Hold an assembly G4314 for G1473 me G3588   G5441.1 of your tribal chiefs, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G4245 your elders, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G1122.3 your judicial recorders! G1473   G2443 that G2980 I should speak G1519 into G3588   G3775 their ears G1473   G3956 all G3588   G3056 these words; G3778   G2532 and G1263 I call to testify G1473 to them G3588 both the G5037   G3772 heaven G2532 and G3588 the G1093 earth.

  3 H3068 יהוה The LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1931 הוא he H5674 עבר will go over H6440 לפניך before H1931 הוא thee, he H8045 ישׁמיד will destroy H853 את   H1471 הגוים nations H428 האלה these H6440 מלפניך from before H3423 וירשׁתם thee, and thou shalt possess H3091 יהושׁע them: Joshua, H1931 הוא he H5674 עבר shall go over H6440 לפניך before H834 כאשׁר thee, as H1696 דבר hath said.   4 H6213 ועשׂה shall do H3068 יהוה And the LORD H834 להם כאשׁר unto them as H6213 עשׂה he did H5511 לסיחון to Sihon H5747 ולעוג and to Og, H4428 מלכי kings H567 האמרי of the Amorites, H776 ולארצם and unto the land H834 אשׁר   H8045 השׁמיד he destroyed. H853 אתם׃  
  5 H5414 ונתנם shall give them up H3068 יהוה And the LORD H6440 לפניכם before your face, H6213 ועשׂיתם that ye may do H3605 להם ככל unto them according unto all H4687 המצוה the commandments H834 אשׁר which H6680 צויתי I have commanded H853 אתכם׃  
  6 H2388 חזקו Be strong H553 ואמצו and of a good courage, H408 אל not, H3372 תיראו fear H408 ואל nor H6206 תערצו be afraid H6440 מפניהם of H3588 כי them: for H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H1931 הוא he H1980 ההלך that doth go H5973 עמך with H3808 לא thee; he will not H7503 ירפך fail H3808 ולא thee, nor H5800 יעזבך׃ forsake
  7 H7121 ויקרא called H4872 משׁה And Moses H3091 ליהושׁע unto Joshua, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אליו unto H5869 לעיני him in the sight H3605 כל of all H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H2388 חזק Be strong H553 ואמץ and of a good courage: H3588 כי for H859 אתה thou H935 תבוא must go H854 את with H5971 העם people H2088 הזה this H413 אל unto H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבע hath sworn H3068 יהוה the LORD H1 לאבתם unto their fathers H5414 לתת to give H859 להם ואתה them; and thou H5157 תנחילנה shalt cause them to inherit H853 אותם׃  
  8 H3068 ויהוה And the LORD, H1931 הוא he H1980 ההלך that doth go H6440 לפניך before H1931 הוא thee; he H1961 יהיה will be H5973 עמך with thee, H3808 לא he will not H7503 ירפך fail H3808 ולא thee, neither H5800 יעזבך forsake H3808 לא not, H3372 תירא thee: fear H3808 ולא neither H2865 תחת׃ be dismayed.
  9 H3789 ויכתב wrote H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את   H8451 התורה law, H2063 הזאת this H5414 ויתנה and delivered H413 אל it unto H3548 הכהנים the priests H1121 בני the sons H3878 לוי of Levi, H5375 הנשׂאים which bore H853 את   H727 ארון the ark H1285 ברית of the covenant H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H413 ואל and unto H3605 כל all H2205 זקני the elders H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
  10 H6680 ויצו commanded H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 אותם   H559 לאמר them, saying, H7093 מקץ   H7651 שׁבע of seven H8141 שׁנים years, H4150 במעד in the solemnity H8141 שׁנת of the year H8059 השׁמטה of release, H2282 בחג in the feast H5521 הסכות׃ of tabernacles,
  11 H935 בבוא is come H3605 כל When all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H7200 לראות to appear H853 את   H6440 פני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר he shall choose, H7121 תקרא thou shalt read H853 את   H8451 התורה law H2063 הזאת this H5048 נגד before H3605 כל all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H241 באזניהם׃ in their hearing.
  12 H6950 הקהל   H853 את   H5971 העם   H376 האנשׁים men, H802 והנשׁים and women, H2945 והטף and children, H1616 וגרך and thy stranger H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁעריך within thy gates, H4616 למען that H8085 ישׁמעו they may hear, H4616 ולמען and that H3925 ילמדו they may learn, H3372 ויראו and fear H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H8104 ושׁמרו and observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H853 את   H3605 כל all H1697 דברי the words H8451 התורה law: H2063 הזאת׃ of this
  13 H1121 ובניהם And their children, H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא have not H3045 ידעו known H8085 ישׁמעו may hear, H3925 ולמדו and learn H3372 ליראה to fear H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H3605 כל as long as H3117 הימים   H834 אשׁר whither H859 אתם ye H2416 חיים live H5921 על in H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר   H859 אתם ye H5674 עברים go over H853 את   H3383 הירדן Jordan H8033 שׁמה whither H3423 לרשׁתה׃ to possess
  14 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H2005 הן Behold, H7126 קרבו approach H3117 ימיך thy days H4191 למות that thou must die: H7121 קרא call H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H3320 והתיצבו and present yourselves H168 באהל in the tabernacle H4150 מועד of the congregation, H6680 ואצונו that I may give him a charge. H1980 וילך went, H4872 משׁה And Moses H3091 ויהושׁע and Joshua H3320 ויתיצבו and presented themselves H168 באהל in the tabernacle H4150 מועד׃ of the congregation.
  15 H7200 וירא appeared H3068 יהוה And the LORD H168 באהל in the tabernacle H5982 בעמוד in a pillar H6051 ענן of a cloud: H5975 ויעמד stood H5982 עמוד and the pillar H6051 הענן of the cloud H5921 על over H6607 פתח the door H168 האהל׃ of the tabernacle.
  16 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H2009 הנך Behold, H7901 שׁכב thou shalt sleep H5973 עם with H1 אבתיך thy fathers; H6965 וקם will rise up, H5971 העם people H2088 הזה and this H2181 וזנה and go a whoring H310 אחרי after H430 אלהי the gods H5236 נכר of the strangers H776 הארץ of the land, H834 אשׁר whither H1931 הוא they H935 בא go H8033 שׁמה whither H7130 בקרבו among H5800 ועזבני them, and will forsake H6565 והפר me, and break H853 את   H1285 בריתי my covenant H834 אשׁר which H3772 כרתי I have made H854 אתו׃ with
  17 H2734 וחרה shall be kindled H639 אפי Then my anger H3117 בו ביום day, H1931 ההוא against them in that H5800 ועזבתים and I will forsake H5641 והסתרתי them, and I will hide H6440 פני my face H1992 מהם   H1961 והיה them, and they shall be H398 לאכל devoured, H4672 ומצאהו shall befall H7451 רעות evils H7227 רבות and many H6869 וצרות and troubles H559 ואמר them; so that they will say H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא in that H3808 הלא Are not H5921 על us, because H3588 כי us, because H369 אין not H430 אלהי our God H7130 בקרבי among H4672 מצאוני come upon H7451 הרעות evils H428 האלה׃ these
  18 H595 ואנכי And I H5640 הסתר   H5641 אסתיר will surely hide H6440 פני my face H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא in that H5921 על for H3605 כל all H7451 הרעה the evils H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂה they shall have wrought, H3588 כי in that H6437 פנה they are turned H413 אל unto H430 אלהים gods.   19 H6258 ועתה Now H3789 כתבו therefore write H853 לכם את   H7892 השׁירה song H2063 הזאת ye this H3925 ולמדה for you, and teach H853 את   H1121 בני it the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H7760 שׂימה put H6310 בפיהם it in their mouths, H4616 למען that H1961 תהיה may be H7892 לי השׁירה song H2063 הזאת this H5707 לעד a witness H1121 בבני for me against the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
  20 H3588 כי For H935 אביאנו when I shall have brought H413 אל them into H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבעתי I swore H1 לאבתיו unto their fathers, H2100 זבת that floweth H2461 חלב with milk H1706 ודבשׁ and honey; H398 ואכל and they shall have eaten H7646 ושׂבע and filled themselves, H1878 ודשׁן and waxen fat; H6437 ופנה then will they turn H413 אל unto H430 אלהים gods, H312 אחרים other H5647 ועבדום and serve H5006 ונאצוני them, and provoke H6565 והפר me, and break H853 את   H1285 בריתי׃ my covenant.
  21 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H4672 תמצאן are befallen H853 אתו   H7451 רעות evils H7227 רבות many H6869 וצרות and troubles H6030 וענתה shall testify H7892 השׁירה song H2063 הזאת them, that this H6440 לפניו against H5707 לעד them as a witness; H3588 כי for H3808 לא it shall not H7911 תשׁכח be forgotten H6310 מפי out of the mouths H2233 זרעו of their seed: H3588 כי for H3045 ידעתי I know H853 את   H3336 יצרו their imagination H834 אשׁר which H1931 הוא they H6213 עשׂה go about, H3117 היום even now, H2962 בטרם before H935 אביאנו I have brought H413 אל them into H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבעתי׃ I swore.
  22 H3789 ויכתב therefore wrote H4872 משׁה Moses H853 את   H7892 השׁירה song H2063 הזאת this H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא the same H3925 וילמדה and taught H853 את   H1121 בני it the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
  23 H6680 ויצו And he gave H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H1121 בן the son H5126 נון of Nun H559 ויאמר a charge, and said, H2388 חזק Be strong H553 ואמץ and of a good courage: H3588 כי for H859 אתה thou H935 תביא shalt bring H853 את   H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל into H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבעתי I swore H595 להם ואנכי unto them: and I H1961 אהיה will be H5973 עמך׃ with

And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tent of meeting. 15 And Jehovah appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud: and the pillar of cloud stood over the door of the Tent. 16 And Jehovah said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and play the harlot after the strange gods of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. 17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall come upon them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us? 18 And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evil which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods. 19 Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach thou it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel. 20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, flowing with milk and honey, and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxed fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and despise me, and break my covenant. 21 And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are come upon them, that this song shall testify before them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they frame this day, before I have brought them into the land which I sware. 22 So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel. 23 And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of good courage; for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee. 24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, that bare the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, saying, 26 Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. 27 For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against Jehovah; and how much more after my death? 28 Assemble unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them. 29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. 30 And Moses spake in the ears of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song, until they were finished.
