  5 H935 והביאך will bring H3068 יהוה And the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H413 אל thee into H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H3423 ירשׁו possessed, H1 אבתיך thy fathers H3423 וירשׁתה and thou shalt possess H3190 והיטבך it; and he will do thee good, H7235 והרבך and multiply H1 מאבתיך׃ thee above thy fathers.
  6 H4135 ומל will circumcise H3068 יהוה And the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H853 את   H3824 לבבך thine heart, H853 ואת   H3824 לבב and the heart H2233 זרעך of thy seed, H157 לאהבה to love H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 בכל with all H3824 לבבך thine heart, H3605 ובכל and with all H5315 נפשׁך thy soul, H4616 למען that H2416 חייך׃ thou mayest live.
  7 H5414 ונתן will put H3068 יהוה And the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H853 את   H3605 כל all H423 האלות curses H428 האלה these H5921 על upon H341 איביך thine enemies, H5921 ועל and on H8130 שׂנאיך them that hate H834 אשׁר thee, which H7291 רדפוך׃ persecuted
  8 H859 ואתה And thou H7725 תשׁוב shalt return H8085 ושׁמעת and obey H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H6213 ועשׂית and do H853 את   H3605 כל all H4687 מצותיו his commandments H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום׃ thee this day.

Geneva(i) 1 Nowe when all these things shall come vpon thee, either the blessing or the curse which I haue set before thee, and thou shalt turne into thine heart, among all the nations whither the Lord thy God hath driuen thee, 2 And shalt returne vnto the Lord thy God, and obey his voyce in all that I commaund thee this day: thou, and thy children with all thine heart and with all thy soule, 3 Then the Lord thy God wil cause thy captiues to returne, and haue compassion vpon thee, and wil returne, to gather thee out of all the people, where the Lord thy God had scattered thee. 4 Though thou werest cast vnto the vtmost part of heauen, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence wil he take thee, 5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possesse it, and he will shewe thee fauour, and will multiplie thee aboue thy fathers. 6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seede, that thou mayest loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with al thy soule, that thou maiest liue. 7 And the Lord thy God will lay all these curses vpon thine enemies, and on them, that hate thee, and that persecute thee. 8 Returne thou therefore, and obey the voyce of the Lord, and do all his commandements, which I commaund thee this day. 9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in euery worke of thine hande, in the fruite of thy bodie, and in the fruite of thy cattel, and in the fruite of the lande for thy wealth: for the Lord will turne againe, and reioyce ouer thee to do thee good, as he reioyced ouer thy fathers, 10 Because thou shalt obey the voyce of the Lord thy God, in keeping his comandements, and his ordinances, which are written in the booke of this Law, when thou shalt returne vnto the Lord thy God with all thine heart and with al thy soule. 11 For this commandement which I commande thee this day, is not hid from thee, neither is it farre off. 12 It is not in heauen, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go vp for vs to heauen, and bring it vs, and cause vs to heare it, that we may doe it? 13 Neither is it beyonde the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go ouer the sea for vs, and bring it vs, and cause vs to heare it, that we may do it? 14 But the word is very neere vnto thee: euen in thy mouth and in thine heart, for to do it. 15 Beholde, I haue set before thee this day life and good, death and euill, 16 In that I commaund thee this day, to loue the Lord thy God, to walke in his wayes, and to keepe his commandements, and his ordinances, and his lawes, that thou mayest liue, and be multiplied, and that the Lord thy God may blesse thee in the land, whither thou goest to possesse it. 17 But if thine heart turne away, so that thou wilt not obey, but shalt be seduced and worship other gods, and serue them, 18 I pronounce vnto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, ye shall not prolong your dayes in the lande, whither thou passest ouer Iorden to possesse it. 19 I call heauen and earth to recorde this day against you, that I haue set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. therefore chuse life, that both thou and thy seede may liue, 20 By louing the Lord thy God, by obeying his voyce, and by cleauing vnto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy dayes: that thou mayest dwell in the lande which the Lord sware vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Izhak, and Iaakob, to giue them.

11 `For this command which I am commanding thee to-day, it is not too wonderful for thee, nor is it far off. 12 It is not in the heavens, --saying, Who doth go up for us into the heavens, and doth take it for us, and doth cause us to hear it--that we may do it. 13 And it is not beyond the sea, --saying, Who doth pass over for us beyond the sea, and doth take it for us, and doth cause us to hear it--that we may do it? 14 For very near unto thee is the word, in thy mouth, and in thy heart--to do it.
15 `See, I have set before thee to-day life and good, and death and evil, 16 in that I am commanding thee to-day to love Jehovah thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments; and thou hast lived and multiplied, and Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee in the land whither thou art going in to possess it. 17 `And if thy heart doth turn, and thou dost not hearken, and hast been driven away, and hast bowed thyself to other gods, and served them, 18 I have declared to you this day, that ye do certainly perish, ye do not prolong days on the ground which thou art passing over the Jordan to go in thither to possess it. 19 `I have caused to testify against you to-day the heavens and the earth; life and death I have set before thee, the blessing and the reviling; and thou hast fixed on life, so that thou dost live, thou and thy seed, 20 to love Jehovah thy God, to hearken to His voice, and to cleave to Him (for He is thy life, and the length of thy days), to dwell on the ground which Jehovah hath sworn to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them.'
ASV(i) 1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither Jehovah thy God hath driven thee, 2 and shalt return unto Jehovah thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul; 3 that then Jehovah thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the peoples, whither Jehovah thy God hath scattered thee. 4 If any of thine outcasts be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will Jehovah thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5 and Jehovah thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. 6 And Jehovah thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. 7 And Jehovah thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, that persecuted thee. 8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of Jehovah, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. 9 And Jehovah thy God will make thee plenteous in all the work of thy hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, for good: for Jehovah will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers; 10 if thou shalt obey the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law; if thou turn unto Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul. 11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not too hard for thee, neither is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it? 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it? 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. 15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; 16 in that I command thee this day to love Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that thou mayest live and multiply, and that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in the land whither thou goest in to possess it. 17 But if thy heart turn away, and thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish; ye shall not prolong your days in the land, whither thou passest over the Jordan to go in to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed; 20 to love Jehovah thy God, to obey his voice, and to cleave unto him; for he is thy life, and the length of thy days; that thou mayest dwell in the land which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
