  2 G2532 And G1510.8.3 it will be G3739 in which G302 ever G2250 day G1224 you should pass over G3588 the G* Jordan G1519 into G3588 the G1093 land G3739 which G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G1325 gives G1473 to you, G2532 that G2476 you shall set up G4572 to yourself G3037 [2stones G3173 1great], G2532 and G2867 you shall whitewash G1473 them G2866.4 in lime.
  3 G2532 And G1125 you shall write G1909 upon G3588 the G3037 stones G3956 all G3588 the G3056 words G3588   G3551 of this law, G3778   G5613 as when G302 whenever G1224 you should pass over G3588 the G* Jordan, G2259 when G302 ever G1525 you should enter G1519 into G3588 the G1093 land G3739 which G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G1325 gives G1473 to you; G1093 a land G4482 flowing G1051 milk G2532 and G3192 honey; G3739 in which G5158 manner G2036 [4spoke G2962 1 the lord G3588   G2316 2God G3588   G3962 3of your fathers] G1473   G1473 to you.
  4 G2532 And G1510.8.3 it will be G5613 as when G302 ever G1224 you should pass over G3588 the G* Jordan, G2476 you shall set G3588   G3037 these stones, G3778   G3739 which G1473 I G1781 give charge G1473 to you G4594 today, G1722 on G3735 mount G* Ebal, G2532 and G2867 you shall whitewash G1473 them G2866.4 with lime.
  5 G2532 And G3618 you shall build G1563 there G2379 an altar G2962 to the lord G3588   G2316 your God -- G1473   G2379 an altar G1537 from out of G3037 stones; G3756 you shall not G1911 put G1909 upon G1473 them G4604 an iron tool .

  7 G2532 And G2380 you shall sacrifice G2378 a sacrifice G4992 of deliverance; G2532 and G2068 you shall eat G1563 there G2532 and G1705 shall be filled up, G2532 and G2165 be glad G1725 before G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God. G1473

  12 G3778 These G2476 shall stand G2127 to bless G3588 the G2992 people G1722 in G3735 mount G* Gerizim G1224 passing over G3588 the G* Jordan; G* Simeon, G* Levi, G* Judah, G* Issachar, G* Joseph, G2532 and G* Benjamin.
  13 G2532 And G3778 these G2476 shall stand G1909 for G3588 the G2671 cursing G1722 on G3735 mount G* Ebal; G* Reuben, G* Gad, G2532 and G* Asher, G* Zebulun, G* Dan, G2532 and G* Naphtali.

  15 G1944 Accursed is G444 the man G3748 who G4160 shall make G1099.3 a carving G2532 and G5560.8 a molten image, G946 an abomination G2962 to the lord, G2041 a work G5495 of the hands G5079 of a craftsman, G2532 and G5087 shall put G1473 it G1722 in G614 concealment.   3 H3789 וכתבת And thou shalt write H5921 עליהן upon H853 את   H3605 כל them all H1697 דברי the words H8451 התורה law, H2063 הזאת of this H5674 בעברך when thou art passed over, H4616 למען that H834 אשׁר that H935 תבא thou mayest go in H413 אל unto H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן giveth H776 לך ארץ thee, a land H2100 זבת that floweth H2461 חלב with milk H1706 ודבשׁ and honey; H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר hath promised H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H1 אבתיך׃ of thy fathers
  4 H1961 והיה Therefore it shall be H5674 בעברכם when ye be gone over H853 את   H3383 הירדן Jordan, H6965 תקימו ye shall set up H853 את   H68 האבנים stones, H428 האלה these H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוה command H853 אתכם   H3117 היום you this day, H2022 בהר in mount H5858 עיבל Ebal, H7874 ושׂדת and thou shalt plaster H853 אותם   H7874 בשׂיד׃  
  5 H1129 ובנית shalt thou build H8033 שׁם And there H4196 מזבח an altar H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H4196 מזבח an altar H68 אבנים of stones: H3808 לא thou shalt not H5130 תניף lift up H5921 עליהם upon H1270 ברזל׃ iron
  6 H68 אבנים stones: H8003 שׁלמות of whole H1129 תבנה Thou shalt build H853 את   H4196 מזבח the altar H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5927 והעלית and thou shalt offer H5921 עליו thereon H5930 עולת burnt offerings H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God:
  7 H2076 וזבחת And thou shalt offer H8002 שׁלמים peace offerings, H398 ואכלת and shalt eat H8033 שׁם there, H8055 ושׂמחת and rejoice H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God.
  8 H3789 וכתבת And thou shalt write H5921 על upon H68 האבנים the stones H853 את   H3605 כל all H1697 דברי the words H8451 התורה law H2063 הזאת of this H874 באר very plainly. H3190 היטב׃ very plainly.
  9 H1696 וידבר spoke H4872 משׁה And Moses H3548 והכהנים and the priests H3881 הלוים the Levites H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H559 לאמר saying, H5535 הסכת Take heed, H8085 ושׁמע and hearken, H3478 ישׂראל O Israel; H3117 היום day H2088 הזה this H1961 נהיית thou art become H5971 לעם the people H3068 ליהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God.
  10 H8085 ושׁמעת Thou shalt therefore obey H6963 בקול the voice H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהיך thy God, H6213 ועשׂית and do H853 את   H4687 מצותו his commandments H853 ואת   H2706 חקיו and his statutes, H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך command H3117 היום׃ thee this day.
  11 H6680 ויצו charged H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את   H5971 העם the people H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא the same H559 לאמר׃ saying,
  12 H428 אלה These H5975 יעמדו shall stand H1288 לברך to bless H853 את   H5971 העם the people, H5921 על upon H2022 הר mount H1630 גרזים Gerizim H5674 בעברכם when ye are come over H853 את   H3383 הירדן Jordan; H8095 שׁמעון Simeon, H3878 ולוי and Levi, H3063 ויהודה and Judah, H3485 וישׂשכר and Issachar, H3130 ויוסף and Joseph, H1144 ובנימן׃ and Benjamin:
  13 H428 ואלה And these H5975 יעמדו shall stand H5921 על to H7045 הקללה curse; H2022 בהר upon mount H5858 עיבל Ebal H7205 ראובן Reuben, H1410 גד Gad, H836 ואשׁר and Asher, H2074 וזבולן and Zebulun, H1835 דן Dan, H5321 ונפתלי׃ and Naphtali.
  14 H6030 וענו shall speak, H3881 הלוים And the Levites H559 ואמרו and say H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H376 אישׁ the men H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6963 קול voice, H7311 רם׃ with a loud
  15 H779 ארור Cursed H376 האישׁ the man H834 אשׁר that H6213 יעשׂה maketh H6459 פסל graven H4541 ומסכה or molten image, H8441 תועבת an abomination H3068 יהוה unto the LORD, H4639 מעשׂה the work H3027 ידי of the hands H2796 חרשׁ of the craftsman, H7760 ושׂם and putteth H5643 בסתר in secret H6030 וענו shall answer H3605 כל And all H5971 העם the people H559 ואמרו and say, H543 אמן׃ Amen.

Geneva(i) 1 Then Moses with the Elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keepe all the comandements, which I command you this day. 2 And when ye shall passe ouer Iorden vnto the lande which the Lord thy God giueth thee, thou shalt set thee vp great stones, and playster them with plaister, 3 And shalt write vpon them all the words of this Lawe, when thou shalt come ouer, that thou mayest go into the land which the Lord thy God giueth thee: a land that floweth with milke and hony, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee. 4 Therefore when ye shall passe ouer Iorden, ye shall set vp these stones, which I command you this daye in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister. 5 And there shalt thou build vnto the Lord thy God an altar, euen an altar of stones: thou shalt lift none yron instrument vpon them. 6 Thou shalt make the altar of the Lord thy God of whole stones, and offer burnt offerings thereon vnto the Lord thy God. 7 And thou shalt offer peace offrings, and shalt eate there and reioyce before the Lord thy God: 8 And thou shalt write vpon the stones al the words of this Law, well and plainely. 9 And Moses and the Priestes of the Leuites spake vnto all Israel, saying, Take heede and heare, O Israel: this day thou art become the people of the Lord thy God. 10 Thou shalt hearken therefore vnto the voyce of the Lord thy God, and do his commandements and his ordinances, which I commande thee this day. 11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying, 12 These shall stand vpon mount Gerizzim, to blesse the people when ye shall passe ouer Iorden: Simeon, and Leui, and Iudah, and Issachar, and Ioseph, and Beniamin. 13 And these shall stand vpon mount Ebal to curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. 14 And the Leuites shall answere and say vnto all the men of Israel with a loude voyce, 15 Cursed be the man that shall make any carued or molten image, which is an abomination vnto the Lord, the worke of the hands of the craftesman, and putteth it in a secrete place: And all the people shall answere, and say: So be it. 16 Cursed be he that curseth his father and his mother: And all the people shall say: So be it. 17 Cursed be he that remoueth his neighbors marke: And all the people shall say: So be it. 18 Cursed be he that maketh ye blinde go out of the way: And all the people shall say: So be it. 19 Cursed be he that hindreth the right of the stranger, the fatherles, and the widow: And all the people shall say: So be it. 20 Cursed be hee that lyeth with his fathers wife: for he hath vncouered his fathers skirt: And all the people shall say: So be it. 21 Cursed be he that lieth with any beast: And all the people shall say: So be it. 22 Cursed be he that lyeth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother: And all the people shall say: So be it. 23 Cursed be he that lyeth with his mother in law: And all the people shall say: So be it. 24 Cursed be hee that smiteth his neyghbour secretly: And all the people shall say: So be it. 25 Cursed be he that taketh a reward to put to death innocent blood: And all the people shall say: So be it. 26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the wordes of this Law, to do them: And all the people shall say: So be it.

YLT(i) 1 `And Moses--the elders of Israel also--commandeth the people, saying, Keep all the command which I am commanding you to-day; 2 and it hath been, in the day that ye pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee, that thou hast raised up for thee great stones, and plaistered them with plaister, 3 and written on them all the words of this law in thy passing over, so that thou goest in unto the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee--a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah, God of thy fathers, hath spoken to thee. 4 `And it hath been, in your passing over the Jordan, ye raise up these stones which I am commanding you to-day, in mount Ebal, and thou hast plaistered them with plaister, 5 and built there an altar to Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones, thou dost not wave over them iron. 6 Of complete stones thou buildest the altar of Jehovah thy God, and hast caused to ascend on it burnt-offerings to Jehovah thy God, 7 and sacrificed peace-offerings, and eaten there, and rejoiced before Jehovah thy God, 8 and written on the stones all the words of this law, well engraved.' 9 And Moses speaketh--the priests, the Levites, also--unto all Israel, saying, `Keep silent, and hear, O Israel, this day thou hast become a people to Jehovah thy God; 10 and thou hast hearkened to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and done His commands, and His statutes, which I am commanding thee to-day.'
11 And Moses commandeth the people on that day, saying, 12 `These do stand, to bless the people, on mount Gerizzim, in your passing over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin. 13 And these do stand, for the reviling, on mount Ebal: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. 14 `And the Levites have answered and said unto every man of Israel--a loud voice: 15 `Cursed is the man who maketh a graven and molten image, the abomination of Jehovah, work of the hands of an artificer, and hath put it in a secret place, --and all the people have answered and said, Amen. 16 `Cursed is He who is making light of his father and his mother, --and all the people have said, Amen. 17 `Cursed is he who is removing his neighbour's border, --and all the people have said, Amen. 18 `Cursed is he who is causing the blind to err in the way, --and all the people have said, Amen. 19 `Cursed is he who is turning aside the judgment of fatherless, sojourner, and widow, --and all the people have said, Amen. 20 `Cursed is he who is lying with his father's wife, for he hath uncovered his father's skirt, --and all the people have said, Amen. 21 `Cursed is he who is lying with any beast, --and all the people have said, Amen. 22 `Cursed is he who is lying with his sister, daughter of his father, or daughter of his mother, --and all the people have said, Amen. 23 `Cursed is he who is lying with his mother-in-law, --and all the people have said, Amen. 24 `Cursed is he who is smiting his neighbour in secret, --and all the people have said, Amen. 25 `Cursed is he who is taking a bribe to smite a person, innocent blood, --and all the people have said, Amen. 26 `Cursed is he who doth not establish the words of this law, to do them, --and all the people have said, Amen.
ASV(i) 1 And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day. 2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster: 3 and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over; that thou mayest go in unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath promised thee. 4 And it shall be, when ye are passed over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster. 5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt lift up no iron tool upon them. 6 Thou shalt build the altar of Jehovah thy God of unhewn stones; and thou shalt offer burnt-offerings thereon unto Jehovah thy God: 7 and thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there; and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God. 8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly. 9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Keep silence, and hearken, O Israel: this day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God. 10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day. 11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying, 12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are passed over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin. 13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. 14 And the Levites shall answer, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice, 15 Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. 16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. 17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbors landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen. 18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen. 19 Cursed be he that wresteth the justice due to the sojourner, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen. 20 Cursed be he that lieth with his fathers wife, because he hath uncovered his fathers skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen. 21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen. 22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen. 23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, Amen. 24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor in secret.
