  6 G1909 By G1417 two G3144 witnesses G2228 or G5140 three G3144 witnesses G599 one shall die. G3588 The G599 one dying G3756 shall not G599 die G1909 by G1520 one G3144 witness.

  9 G2532 And G2064 you shall come G4314 to G3588 the G2409 priests G3588 of the G* Levites, G2532 and G4314 to G3588 the G2923 judge, G3739 who G302 ever G1096 happens to be G1722 in G3588   G2250 those days; G1565   G2532 and G1567 seeking after the matter G312 they shall announce G1473 to you G3588 the G2920 judgment.
  10 G2532 And G4160 you shall do G2596 according to G3588 the G4487 thing, G3739 which G302 ever G312 they should announce G1473 to you G1537 from G3588 the G5117 place G3739 of which G302 ever G1586 [3should choose G2962 1 the lord G3588   G2316 2your God].   11 G2596 According to G3588 the G3551 law, G2532 and G2596 according to G3588 the G2920 judgment, G3739 which G302 ever G2036 they should tell G1473 to you, G4160 thus you shall do it. G3756 You shall not G1578 turn aside G575 from G3588 the G4487 matter G3739 of which G302 ever G312 they should announce G1473 to you, G1188 right G3761 nor G710 left.

  13 G2532 And G3956 all G3588 the G2992 people G191 hearing G5399 shall fear, G2532 and G3756 shall not G764 be impious G2089 any more.
  14 G1437 And whenever G1161   G1525 you should enter G1519 into G3588 the G1093 land G3739 which G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G1325 gives G1473 to you G1722 by G2819 lot, G2532 and G2816 you should inherit G1473 it, G2532 and G2730 should dwell G1909 upon G1473 it, G2532 and G2036 you should say, G2525 I shall place G1909 over G1683 myself G758 a ruler, G2505 as G2532 also G3588 the G3062 rest G1484 of the nations G3588   G2945 round about G1473 me;
  15 G2525 then in placing, G2525 you shall place G1909 over G4572 yourself G758 a ruler, G3739 which G302 ever G1586 [3should choose G2962 1 the lord G3588   G2316 2your God] -- G1473   G1473 him G1537 from out of G3588   G80 your brethren G1473   G2525 you shall place G1909 over G4572 yourself G758 as ruler.   16 G4133 Furthermore G3756 he shall not G4129 multiply G1438 to himself G2462 a cavalry, G3762.1 nor G654 shall he return G3588 the G2992 people G1519 to G* Egypt, G3704 so that G3361 he should not multiply G4129   G1438 to himself G2462 a cavalry.   17 G2532 And G3756 he shall not G4129 multiply G1438 to himself G1135 wives, G2443 that G3361 he shall not G3179 change over G1473 his G3588   G2588 heart. G2532 And G694 silver G2532 and G5553 gold G3756 he shall not G4129 multiply G1438 to himself G4970 exceedingly.
  18 G2532 And G1510.8.3 it will be G3752 whenever G2523 he shall be settled G1909 in G3588 the G1368.3 chair G3588   G746 of his office, G1473   G2532 then G1125 he shall write G1438 for himself G3588   G1206.2 this second book of the law G3778   G1519 into G975 a scroll G3844 by the hands G3588 of the G2409 priests G3588 of the G* Levites.

  10 H6213 ועשׂית And thou shalt do H5921 על according to H6310 פי according to H1697 הדבר the sentence, H834 אשׁר which H5046 יגידו shall show H4480 לך מן they of H4725 המקום place H1931 ההוא that H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose H3068 יהוה the LORD H8104 ושׁמרת thee; and thou shalt observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר that H3384 יורוך׃ they inform
  11 H5921 על According to H6310 פי the sentence H8451 התורה of the law H834 אשׁר which H3384 יורוך they shall teach H5921 ועל thee, and according to H4941 המשׁפט the judgment H834 אשׁר which H559 יאמרו they shall tell H6213 לך תעשׂה thee, thou shalt do: H3808 לא thou shalt not H5493 תסור decline H4480 מן from H1697 הדבר the sentence H834 אשׁר which H5046 יגידו they shall show H3225 לך ימין thee, the right hand, H8040 ושׂמאל׃ nor the left.

Geneva(i) 1 Thou shalt offer vnto the Lord thy God no bullocke nor sheepe wherein is blemish or any euill fauoured thing: for that is an abomination vnto the Lord thy God. 2 If there be founde among you in any of thy cities, which the Lord thy God giueth thee, man or woman that hath wrought wickednes in the sight of the Lord thy God, in transgressing his couenant, 3 And hath gone and serued other gods, and worshipped them: as the sunne, or the moone, or any of the hoste of heauen, which I haue not commanded, 4 And it be tolde vnto thee, and thou hast heard it, then shalt thou inquire diligently: and if it be true, and the thing certaine, that such abomination is wrought in Israel, 5 Then shalt thou bring foorth that man, or that woman (which haue committed that wicked thing) vnto thy gates, whether it be man or woman, and shalt stone them with stones, til they die. 6 At the mouth of two or three witnesses shall he that is woorthie of death, die: but at the mouth of one witnesse, he shall not die. 7 The handes of the witnesses shall be first vpon him, to kill him: and afterward the hands of all the people: so thou shalt take the wicked away from among you. 8 If there rise a matter too harde for thee in iudgement betweene blood and blood, betweene plea and plea, betweene plague and plague, in the matters of controuersie within thy gates, then shalt thou arise, and goe vp vnto the place which the Lord thy God shall chuse, 9 And thou shalt come vnto the Priestes of the Leuites, and vnto the iudge that shall be in those daies, and aske, and they shall shewe thee the sentence of iudgement, 10 And thou shalt do according to that thing which they of that place (which the Lord hath chosen) shewe thee, and thou shalt obserue to doe according to all that they informe thee. 11 According to the Lawe, which they shall teach thee, and according to the iudgement which they shall tell thee, shalt thou doe: thou shalt not decline from the thing which they shall shew thee, neither to the right hand, nor to the left. 12 And that man that wil doe presumptuously, not hearkening vnto the Priest (that standeth before the Lord thy God to minister there) or vnto the iudge, that man shall die, and thou shalt take away euill from Israel. 13 So all the people shall heare and feare, and doe no more presumptuously. 14 Whe thou shalt come vnto ye land which the Lord thy God giueth thee, and shalt possesse it, and dwell therein, if thou say, I will set a King ouer me, like as all the nations that are about me, 15 Then thou shalt make him King ouer thee, whome the Lord thy God shall chuse: from among thy brethren shalt thou make a King ouer thee: thou shalt not set a stranger ouer thee, which is not thy brother. 16 In any wise he shall not prepare him many horses, nor bring the people againe to Egypt, for to encrease the number of horses, seeing the Lord hath sayd vnto you, Ye shall henceforth goe no more againe that way. 17 Neither shall hee take him many wiues, lest his heart turne away, neither shall he gather him much siluer and golde. 18 And when he shall sit vpon the throne of his kingdo, then shall he write him this Law repeted in a booke, by the Priests of the Leuites. 19 And it shall be with him, and he shall reade therein all daies of his life, that he may learne to feare the Lord his God, and to keepe all ye words of this Lawe, and these ordinances for to doe them: 20 That his heart be not lifted vp aboue his brethren, and that he turne not from the commandement, to the right hand or to the left, but that he may prolong his daies in his kingdom, he, and his sonnes in the middes of Israel.

YLT(i) 1 `Thou dost not sacrifice to Jehovah thy God ox or sheep in which there is a blemish--any evil thing; for it is the abomination of Jehovah thy God. 2 `When there is found in thy midst, in one of thy cities which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee, a man or a woman who doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah thy God by transgressing His covenant, 3 and he doth go and serve other gods, and doth bow himself to them, and to the sun, or to the moon, or to any of the host of the heavens, which I have not commanded-- 4 and it hath been declared to thee, and thou hast heard, and hast searched diligently, and lo, truth; the thing is established; this abomination hath been done in Israel-- 5 `Then thou hast brought out that man, or that woman, who hath done this evil thing, unto thy gates--the man or the woman--and thou hast stoned them with stones, and they have died. 6 By the mouth of two witnesses or of three witnesses is he who is dead put to death; he is not put to death by the mouth of one witness; 7 the hand of the witnesses is on him, in the first place, to put him to death, and the hand of all the people last; and thou hast put away the evil thing out of thy midst.
8 `When anything is too hard for thee for judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke--matters of strife within thy gates--then thou hast risen, and gone up unto the place on which Jehovah thy God doth fix, 9 and hast come in unto the priests, the Levites, and unto the judge who is in those days, and hast inquired, and they have declared to thee the word of judgment, 10 and thou hast done according to the tenor of the word which they declare to thee (they of that place which Jehovah doth choose; and thou hast observed to do according to all that they direct thee. 11 `According to the tenor of the law which they direct thee, and according to the judgment which they say to thee thou dost do; thou dost not turn aside from the word which they declare to thee, right or left. 12 And the man who acteth with presumption, so as not to hearken unto the priest (who is standing to serve there Jehovah thy God), or unto the judge, even that man hath died, and thou hast put away the evil thing from Israel, 13 and all the people do hear and fear, and do not presume any more.
14 `When thou comest in unto the land which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee, and hast possessed it, and dwelt in it, and thou hast said, Let me set over me a king like all the nations which are round about me, -- 15 thou dost certainly set over thee a king on whom Jehovah doth fix; from the midst of thy brethren thou dost set over thee a king; thou art not able to set over thee a stranger, who is not thy brother. 16 `Only, he doth not multiply to himself horses, nor cause the people to turn back to Egypt, so as to multiply horses, seeing Jehovah hath said to you, Ye do not add to turn back in this way any more. 17 And he doth not multiply to himself wives, and his heart doth not turn aside, and silver and gold he doth not multiply to himself--exceedingly. 18 `And it hath been, when he sitteth on the throne of his kingdom, that he hath written for himself the copy of this law, on a book, from that before the priests the Levites, 19 and it hath been with him, and he hath read in it all days of his life, so that he doth learn to fear Jehovah his God, to keep all the words of this law, and these statutes, to do them; 20 so that his heart is not high above his brethren, and so as not to turn aside from the command, right or left, so that he prolongeth days over his kingdom, he and his sons, in the midst of Israel.
ASV(i) 1 Thou shalt not sacrifice unto Jehovah thy God an ox, or a sheep, wherein is a blemish, or anything evil; for that is an abomination unto Jehovah thy God. 2 If there be found in the midst of thee, within any of thy gates which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that doeth that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah thy God, in transgressing his covenant, 3 and hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, or the sun, or the moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; 4 and it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, then shalt thou inquire diligently; and, behold, if it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel, 5 then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, who hath done this evil thing, unto thy gates, even the man or the woman; and thou shalt stone them to death with stones. 6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is to die be put to death; at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death. 7 The hand of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people.
