  5 G237.1 But G1519 in G3588 the G5117 place G3739 which G302 ever G1586 [3should choose G2962 1 the lord G3588   G2316 2your God] G1473   G1537 from G3956 all G3588   G5443 of your tribes G1473   G2028 to name G3588   G3686 his name G1473   G1563 there, G2532 and G1941 to be called upon -- G2532 even G1567 you shall seek after G2532 and G1525 enter G1563 there.
  6 G2532 And G5342 you shall bring G1563 there G3588 the G3646 whole burnt-offerings G1473 of yours, G2532 and G3588   G2378.2 your sacrifices, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G1181 your tenths, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G2171 your vow offerings, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G1595 your voluntary offerings, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3671 your acknowledgment offerings, G1473   G3588 the G4416 first-born G3588   G1016 of your oxen, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G4263 of your sheep.   8 G3756 You shall not G4160 do G2596 according to G3956 all G3745 as many as G1473 we G4160 do G5602 here G4594 today -- G1538 each doing G3588 the G701 pleasing thing G1726 before G1473 him.
  9 G3756 [3not G1063 1For G2240 2you have] come G2193 unto G3588 the G3568 present time G1519 for G3588 the G2663 rest G2532 and G1519 for G3588 the G2817 inheritance G3739 which G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 our God G1473   G1325 gives G1473 you.

  12 G2532 And G2165 you shall be glad G1725 before G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G1473 you G2532 and G3588   G5207 your sons, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G2364 your daughters, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3816 your manservants, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3814 your maidservants, G1473   G2532 and G3588 the G* Levite G3588   G1909 at G3588   G4439 your gates; G1473   G3754 for G3756 there is not G1510.2.3   G1473 to him G3310 a portion G3761 nor G2819 lot G3326 with G1473 you.

  15 G237.1 But G1722 in G3956 all G1939 your desire G1473   G2380 you shall sacrifice G2532 and G2068 shall eat G2907 meats G2596 according to G3588 the G2129 blessing G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 your God G1473   G3739 which G1325 he gave G1473 to you G1722 in G3956 every G4172 city -- G3588 the G169 unclean G1722 among G1473 you, G2532 and G3588 the G2513 clean G1909 [3the same G3588   G1473   G2068 1shall eat G1473 2it], G5613 as a G1393 doe G2228 or G1643.1 stag.
  16 G4133 Except G3588 the G129 blood G3756 you shall not G2068 eat G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 land; G1632 you shall pour G1473 it out G5613 as G5204 water.
  17 G3756 You shall not G1410 be able G2068 to eat G1722 in G3588   G4172 your cities G1473   G3588 the G1925.1 tithe G3588   G4621 of your grain, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G3631 your wine, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G1637 your olive oil, G1473   G3588 the G4416 first-born G3588   G1016 of your oxen, G1473   G2532 and G3588   G4263 of your sheep, G1473   G2532 and G3956 all G3588 the G2171 vows, G3745 as many as G302 you should have vowed, G2172   G2532 and G3588   G3671 your acknowledgment offerings, G1473   G2532 and G3588 the G536 first-fruits G3588   G5495 of your hands.   19 G4337 Take heed G4572 to yourself! G3361 that you should not G1459 abandon G3588 the G* Levite G3956 all G3588 the G5550 time, G3745 as much as G302   G2198 you should live G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 land.
  20 G1437 And if G1161   G1706.2 [3should widen G2962 1 the lord G3588   G2316 2your God] G1473   G3588   G3725 your borders, G1473   G2509 just as G2980 he spoke G1473 to you, G2532 and G2046 you shall say, G2068 I will eat G2907 meats; G1437 if G1937 [2should desire G3588   G5590 1your soul] G1473   G5620 so as G2068 to eat G2907 meats, G1722 in G3956 every G1939 desire G3588   G5590 of your soul, G1473   G2068 you shall eat G2907 meats.

  23 G4337 Take heed G2478.2 strongly! G3588   G3361 to not G2068 eat G129 blood, G3754 for G3588   G129 its blood G1473   G5590 is life. G3756 You shall not G977 eat G5590 life G3326 with G3588 the G2907 meats.
  24 G3756 You shall not G2068 eat blood; G1909 upon G3588 the G1093 earth G1632 you shall pour G1473 it out G5613 as G5204 water.
  25 G3756 You shall not G2068 eat G1473 it, G2443 that G2095 good G1473 should happen to you, G1096   G2532 and G3588 to G5207 your sons G1473   G3326 after G1473 you, G1437 if G4160 you should do G3588 the G2570 good G2532 and G3588 the G701 pleasing thing G1725 before G2962 the lord G3588   G2316 your God.   27 G2532 And G4160 there you shall offer G3588   G3646 your whole burnt-offerings; G1473   G3588 the G2907 meats G399 you shall offer G1909 upon G3588 the G2379 altar G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 your God; G1473   G3588 but the G1161   G129 blood G3588   G2378 of your sacrifices G1473   G4377.2 you shall pour G4314 towards G3588 the G939 base G3588 of the G2379 altar G2962 of the lord G3588   G2316 your God, G1473   G3588 but the G1161   G2907 meats G2068 you may eat.
  28 G5442 Guard G2532 and G191 hearken!   30 G4337 take heed G4572 to yourself! G3361 you should not G1567 seek G1872 to follow G1473 them G3326 after G3588   G1842 their being utterly destroyed G1473   G575 from G4383 your face.   7 H398 ואכלתם ye shall eat H8033 שׁם And there H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H8055 ושׂמחתם and ye shall rejoice H3605 בכל in all H4916 משׁלח that ye put H3027 ידכם your hand H859 אתם unto, ye H1004 ובתיכם and your households, H834 אשׁר wherein H1288 ברכך hath blessed H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God
  8 H3808 לא Ye shall not H6213 תעשׂון do H3605 ככל after all H834 אשׁר that H587 אנחנו we H6213 עשׂים do H6311 פה here H3117 היום this day, H376 אישׁ every man H3605 כל whatsoever H3477 הישׁר right H5869 בעיניו׃ in his own eyes.
  9 H3588 כי For H3808 לא ye are not H935 באתם come H5704 עד as yet H6258 עתה as yet H413 אל to H4496 המנוחה the rest H413 ואל and to H5159 הנחלה the inheritance, H834 אשׁר which H3069 יהוה   H430 אלהיך your God H5414 נתן׃ giveth
  10 H5674 ועברתם But ye go over H853 את   H3383 הירדן Jordan, H3427 וישׁבתם and dwell H776 בארץ in the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H5157 מנחיל   H853 אתכם   H5117 והניח and he giveth you rest H3605 לכם מכל from all H341 איביכם your enemies H5439 מסביב round about, H3427 וישׁבתם so that ye dwell H983 בטח׃ in safety;

  12 H8055 ושׂמחתם And ye shall rejoice H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H859 אתם ye, H1121 ובניכם and your sons, H1323 ובנתיכם and your daughters, H5650 ועבדיכם and your menservants, H519 ואמהתיכם and your maidservants, H3881 והלוי and the Levite H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁעריכם within your gates; H3588 כי forasmuch H369 אין as he hath no H2506 לו חלק part H5159 ונחלה nor inheritance H854 אתכם׃ with

  14 H3588 כי   H518 אם   H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose H3068 יהוה the LORD H259 באחד in one H7626 שׁבטיך of thy tribes, H8033 שׁם there H5927 תעלה thou shalt offer H5930 עלתיך thy burnt offerings, H8033 ושׁם and there H6213 תעשׂה thou shalt do H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H595 אנכי I H6680 מצוך׃ command
  15 H7535 רק Notwithstanding H3605 בכל in all H185 אות lusteth after, H5315 נפשׁך thy soul H2076 תזבח thou mayest kill H398 ואכלת and eat H1320 בשׂר flesh H1293 כברכת according to the blessing H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן he hath given H3605 לך בכל whatsoever H8179 שׁעריך thy gates, H2931 הטמא thee: the unclean H2889 והטהור and the clean H398 יאכלנו may eat H6643 כצבי thereof, as of the roebuck, H354 וכאיל׃ and as of the hart.
  16 H7535 רק Only H1818 הדם the blood; H3808 לא ye shall not H398 תאכלו eat H5921 על it upon H776 הארץ the earth H8210 תשׁפכנו ye shall pour H4325 כמים׃ as water.
  17 H3808 לא not H3201 תוכל Thou mayest H398 לאכל eat H8179 בשׁעריך within thy gates H4643 מעשׂר the tithe H1715 דגנך of thy corn, H8492 ותירשׁך or of thy wine, H3323 ויצהרך or of thy oil, H1062 ובכרת or the firstlings H1241 בקרך of thy herds H6629 וצאנך or of thy flock, H3605 וכל nor any H5088 נדריך of thy vows H834 אשׁר which H5087 תדר thou vowest, H5071 ונדבתיך nor thy freewill offerings, H8641 ותרומת or heave offering H3027 ידך׃ of thine hand:
  18 H3588 כי   H518 אם   H6440 לפני them before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H398 תאכלנו thou must eat H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H859 בו אתה thou, H1121 ובנך and thy son, H1323 ובתך and thy daughter, H5650 ועבדך and thy manservant, H519 ואמתך and thy maidservant, H3881 והלוי and the Levite H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁעריך within thy gates: H8055 ושׂמחת and thou shalt rejoice H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 בכל in all H4916 משׁלח that thou puttest H3027 ידך׃ thine hands

  20 H3588 כי When H7337 ירחיב shall enlarge H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H853 את   H1366 גבלך thy border, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר he hath promised H559 לך ואמרת thee, and thou shalt say, H398 אכלה I will eat H1320 בשׂר flesh, H3588 כי because H183 תאוה longeth H5315 נפשׁך thy soul H398 לאכל to eat H1320 בשׂר flesh; H3605 בכל whatsoever H185 אות lusteth after.   21 H3588 כי If H7368 ירחק be too far H4480 ממך from H4725 המקום the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר hath chosen H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H7760 לשׂום to put H8034 שׁמו his name H8033 שׁם there H2076 וזבחת thee, then thou shalt kill H1241 מבקרך of thy herd H6629 ומצאנך and of thy flock, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן hath given H3068 יהוה the LORD H834 לך כאשׁר thee as H6680 צויתך I have commanded H398 ואכלת thee, and thou shalt eat H8179 בשׁעריך in thy gates H3605 בכל whatsoever H185 אות lusteth after.   22 H389 אך Even H834 כאשׁר as H398 יאכל is eaten, H853 את   H6643 הצבי the roebuck H853 ואת   H354 האיל and the hart H3651 כן so H398 תאכלנו thou shalt eat H2931 הטמא them: the unclean H2889 והטהור and the clean H3162 יחדו them alike. H398 יאכלנו׃ shall eat

9 for ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee. 10 But when ye go over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which Jehovah your God causeth you to inherit, and he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety; 11 then it shall come to pass that to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, thither shall ye bring all that I command you: your burnt-offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave-offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto Jehovah. 12 And ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your men-servants, and your maid-servants, and the Levite that is within your gates, forasmuch as he hath no portion nor inheritance with you. 13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt-offerings in every place that thou seest; 14 but in the place which Jehovah shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt-offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee. 15 Notwithstanding, thou mayest kill and eat flesh within all thy gates, after all the desire of thy soul, according to the blessing of Jehovah thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the gazelle, and as of the hart. 16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; thou shalt pour it out upon the earth as water. 17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy grain, or of thy new wine, or of thine oil, or the firstlings of thy herd or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill-offerings, nor the heave-offering of thy hand; 18 but thou shalt eat them before Jehovah thy God in the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy man-servant, and thy maid-servant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before Jehovah thy God in all that thou puttest thy hand unto. 19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest in thy land. 20 When Jehovah thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul desireth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, after all the desire of thy soul. 21 If the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to put his name there, be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which Jehovah hath given thee, as I have commanded thee; and thou mayest eat within thy gates, after all the desire of thy soul. 22 Even as the gazelle and as the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat thereof: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof alike. 23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou shalt not eat the life with the flesh. 24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it out upon the earth as water. 25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah. 26 Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which Jehovah shall choose: 27 and thou shalt offer thy burnt-offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of Jehovah thy God; and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of Jehovah thy God; and thou shalt eat the flesh. 28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the eyes of Jehovah thy God. 29 When Jehovah thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest in to dispossess them, and thou dispossessest them, and dwellest in their land; 30 take heed to thyself that thou be not ensnared to follow them, after that they are destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How do these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto Jehovah thy God: for every abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters do they burn in the fire to their gods. 32 What thing soever I command you, that shall ye observe to do: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
