3 G575 from G3631 wine G2532 and G4608 liquor G48 he shall be pure, G2532 and G3690 strong drink G1537 from out of G3631 wine; G2532 and G3690 strong drink G1537 from out of G4608 liquor G3756 he shall not G4095 drink; G2532 and G3745 as many things as G2716 are manufactured G1537 from out of G4718 the grape G3756 he shall not G4095 drink; G2532 and G4718 [²grape G4372 ¹fresh] G2532 and G4717.1 dried grape G3756 he shall not G2068 eat.

4 G3956 All G3588 the G2250 days G3588 G2171 of his vow, G1473 G575 from G3956 all G3745 as many things as G1096 come G1537 from G288 the grapevine, G3631 wine, G575 from G4725.1 dregs G2193 unto G1095.1 grape-stone, G3756 he shall not G2068 eat.

5 G3956 All G3588 the G2250 days G3588 of the G2171 vow G3588 G49 of his purification G1473 G3587.2 a razor G3756 shall not G1904 come G1909 upon G3588 G2776 his head, G1473 G2193 until G302 whenever G4137 [³should be fulfilled G3588 ¹the G2250 ²days], G3745 as many as G2172 he made a vow G2962 to the lord . G39 He shall be holy, G1510.8.3 G5142 maintaining G2864 the lock G2359 of hair G2776 on his head. G1473

7 G1909 Unto G3962 father G2532 and G1909 unto G3384 mother, G2532 and G1909 to G80 brother, G2532 and G1909 to G79 sister, G3756 he shall not G3392 be defiled G1909 by G1473 them G599 in their dying; G1473 G3754 for G2171 [²vow G2316 ³of God G1473 ¹his] G1909 is upon G1473 him, G1909 upon G2776 his head. 11 G2532 And G4160 [³shall offer G3588 ¹the G2409 ²priest] G1520 one G4012 for G266 a sin offering, G2532 and G1520 one G1519 for G3646 a whole burnt-offering; G2532 and G1837.2 [³shall atone G4012 ⁴for G1473 ⁵him G3588 ¹the G2409 ²priest], G4012 for G3739 of which G264 he sinned G4012 concerning G3588 touching the G5590 dead soul, G2532 and G37 he shall sanctify G3588 G2776 his head G1473 G1722 in G1565 that G3588 G2250 day,

12 G3739 in which G37 he was sanctified G3588 to the G2962 lord, G3956 all G3588 the G2250 days G3588 of the G2171 vow. G2532 And G4317 he shall lead forward G286 a lamb G1762.1 of a year old G1519 for G4131.1 a trespass offering . G2532 And G3588 the G2250 [²days G3588 G4387 ¹former] G249 shall not be reckoned, G1510.8.6 G3754 for G3392 [⁴was defiled G3588 ¹the G2776 ²head G2171 ³of his vow]. G1473

13 G2532 And G3778 this is G3588 the G3551 law G3588 of the G2172 making a vow; G3739 in which G302 ever G2250 day G4137 he shall have fulfilled G2250 the days G2171 of his vow, G1473 G4374 he shall bring G1473 himself G3844 by G3588 the G2374 doors G3588 of the G4633 tent G3588 of the G3142 testimony,

14 G2532 and G4317 shall lead G3588 G1435 his gift G1473 G3588 to the G2962 lord -- G286 [³he-lamb G1762.1 ⁴of a year old G299 ²unblemished G1520 ¹one] G1519 for G3646.1 a whole burnt-offering, G2532 and G285.1 [³ewe-lamb G1762.1 ⁴of a year old G1520 ¹one G299 ²unblemished] G1519 for G266 a sin offering, G2532 and G2919.1 [³ram G1520 ¹one G299 ²unblemished] G1519 for G4992 a deliverance offering;

15 G2532 and G2582.2 a bin G106 of unleavened G4585 fine flour G740 breads G378.4 being prepared G1722 in G1637 olive oil, G2532 and G2974.5 [²pancakes G106 ¹unleavened] G5548 being anointed G1722 in G1637 olive oil, G2532 and G2378 their sacrifice, G1473 G2532 and G4700.2 their libation. G1473

16 G2532 And G4374 [³shall bring them G3588 ¹the G2409 ²priest] G1725 before G2962 the lord, G2532 and G4160 shall offer G3588 the sacrifice G4012 for G266 his sin offering, G1473 G2532 and G3588 G3646 his whole burnt-offering. G1473

17 G2532 And G3588 with the G2919.1 ram G4160 he shall make G2378 a sacrifice G4992 of deliverance G3588 to the G2962 lord G1909 with G3588 the G2582.2 bin G3588 G106 of unleavened breads . G2532 And G4160 [³shall offer G3588 ¹the G2409 ²priest] G3588 G2378 his sacrifice offering, G1473 G2532 and G3588 G4700.2 his libation. G1473

18 G2532 And G3587 [³shall shave G3588 ¹the G2172 ²one making a vow] G3844 by G3588 the G2374 doors G3588 of the G4633 tent G3588 of the G3142 testimony G3588 the G2776 head G3588 G2171 of his vow; G1473 G2532 and G2007 he shall place G3588 the G2359 hair G1909 upon G3588 the G4442 fire, G3739 the one which G1510.2.3 is G1909 upon G3588 the G2378 sacrifice G3588 of the G4992 deliverance offering .

19 G2532 And G2983 [³shall take G3588 ¹the G2409 ²priest] G3588 the G1023 shoulder G2184.1 cooked G575 from G3588 the G2919.1 ram, G2532 and G740 [³bread G1520 ¹one G106 ²unleavened] G575 from G3588 the G2582.2 bin, G2532 and G2974.5 [³pancake G106 ²unleavened G1520 ¹one]; G2532 and G2007 he shall place them G1909 upon G3588 the G5495 hands G3588 of the G2172 one making a vow, G3326 after G3588 G3587 his shaving G1473 G3588 G2776 of his head. G1473

20 G2532 And G4374 [³shall offer G1473 ⁴them G3588 ¹the G2409 ²priest] G1935.1 as an increase offering G1725 before G2962 the lord; G39 it shall be a holy portion G1510.8.3 G3588 to the G2409 priest G1909 beside G3588 the G4738.1 breast G3588 of the G1935.1 increase offering, G2532 and G1909 beside G3588 the G1023 shoulder G3588 of the G850.4 cut-away portion offering . G2532 And G3326 after G3778 this G4095 [³shall drink G3588 ¹the G2172 ²one making a vow] G3631 wine.

21 G3778 This is G3588 the G3551 law G3588 of the G2172 one making a vow; G3739 who G302 ever G2172 should make a vow G2962 to the lord G1435 of his gift G1473 G3588 to the G2962 lord, G4012 concerning G3588 the G2171 vow, G5565 separate from G3739 what G302 ever G2147 [²should find G3588 G5495 ¹his hand] G1473 G2596 according to G1411 ability G3588 G2171 of his vow, G1473 G3739 of what G302 ever G2172 he should have vowed G2596 according to G3588 the G3551 law G47 of his purity. G1473

22 G2532 And G2980 the lord spoke G2962 G4314 to G* Moses, G3004 saying,

23 G2980 Speak G* to Aaron G2532 and G3588 G5207 his sons! G1473 G3004 saying, G3779 Thus G2127 you shall bless G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Israel, G3004 saying G1473 to them,

24 G2127 May [²bless G1473 ³you G2962 ¹ The lord], G2532 and G5442 keep G1473 you.

25 G2014 May the lord shine G2962 G3588 G4383 his face G1473 G1909 upon G1473 you, G2532 and G1653 show mercy G1473 on you.

26 G1869 May the lord lift up G2962 G3588 G4383 his face G1473 G1909 upon G1473 you, G2532 and G1325 give G1473 you G1515 peace.

27 G2532 And G2007 they shall place G3588 G3686 my name G1473 G1909 upon G3588 the G5207 sons G* of Israel, G2532 and G1473 I G2127 will bless G1473 them.

Geneva⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, ² Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When a man or a woman doeth separate themselues to vowe a vowe of a Nazarite to separate himselfe vnto the Lord, ³ He shall abstaine from wine and strong drinke, and shall drinke no sowre wine nor sowre drinke, nor shall drinke any licour of grapes, neither shall eate fresh grapes nor dryed. ⁴ As long as his abstinence endureth, shall hee eat nothing that is made of the wine of the vine, neither the kernels, nor the huske. ⁵ While hee is separate by his vowe, the rasor shall not come vpon his head, vntill the dayes be out, in the which he separateth him selfe vnto the Lord, he shalbe holy, and shall let the lockes of the heare of his head growe. ⁶ During the time that he separateth himselfe vnto the Lord, he shall come at no dead body: ⁷ Hee shall not make himselfe vncleane at the death of his father, or mother, brother, or sister: for the consecration of his God is vpon his head. ⁸ All the dayes of his separation he shalbe holy to the Lord. ⁹ And if any dye suddenly by him, or hee beware, then the head of his consecration shall be defiled, and he shall shaue his head in the day of his clensing: in the seuenth day he shall shaue it. ¹⁰ And in the eight day hee shall bring two turtles, or two yong pigeons to the Priest, at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation. ¹¹ Then the Priest shall prepare the one for a sinne offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and shall make an atonement for him, because he sinned by the dead: so shall he halowe his head the same day, ¹² And he shall consecrate vnto the Lord the dayes of his separation, and shall bring a lambe of a yeere olde for a trespasse offering, and the first dayes shalbe voide: for his consecration was defiled. ¹³ This then is the lawe of the Nazarite: When the time of his consecration is out, he shall come to the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, ¹⁴ And hee shall bring his offering vnto the Lord, an hee lambe of a yeere olde without blemish for a burnt offering, and a shee lambe of a yere olde without blemish for a sinne offring, and a ramme without blemish for peace offrings, ¹⁵ And a basket of vnleauened bread, of cakes of fine floure, mingled with oyle, and wafers of vnleauened bread anointed with oile, with their meate offring, and their drinke offrings: ¹⁶ The which the Priest shall bring before the Lord, and make his sinne offering and his burnt offering. ¹⁷ He shall prepare also the ram for a peace offring vnto the Lord, with the basket of vnleauened bread, and the Priest shall make his meate offring, and his drinke offring. ¹⁸ And the Nazarite shall shaue the head of his consecration at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and shall take the heare of the head of his consecration, and put it in the fire, which is vnder the peace offring. ¹⁹ Then the Priest shall take ye sodden shoulder of the ramme, and an vnleauened cake out of the basket, and a wafer vnleauened, and put them vpon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shauen his consecration. ²⁰ And the Priest shall shake them to and from before the Lord: this is an holy thing for the Priest besides the shaken breast, and besides the heaue shoulder: so afterwarde the Nazarite may drinke wine. ²¹ This is the Lawe of the Nazarite, which he hath vowed, and of his offering vnto the Lord for his consecration, besides that that hee is able to bring: according to the vowe which he vowed, so shall he do after the lawe of his consecration. ²² And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, ²³ Speake vnto Aaron and to his sonnes, saying, Thus shall ye blesse the childre of Israel, and say vnto them, ²⁴ The Lord blesse thee, and keepe thee, ²⁵ The Lord make his face shine vpon thee, and be merciful vnto thee, ²⁶ The Lord lift vp his coutenance vpon thee, and giue thee peace. ²⁷ So they shall put my Name vpon the children of Israel, and I wil blesse them.

4 H3117 All the days H5145 of his separation H398 shall he eat [H8799] H6213 nothing that is made [H8735] H3196 of the vine H1612 tree H2785 , from the kernels H2085 even to the husk.

5 H3117 All the days H5088 of the vow H5145 of his separation H8593 there shall no razor H5674 come [H8799] H7218 upon his head H3117 : until the days H4390 be fulfilled [H8800] H5144 , in the which he separateth [H8686] H3068 himself unto the LORD H6918 , he shall be holy H6545 , and shall let the locks H8181 of the hair H7218 of his head H1431 grow [H8763] .

6 H3117 All the days H5144 that he separateth [H8687] H3068 himself unto the LORD H935 he shall come [H8799] H4191 at no dead [H8801] H5315 body.

7 H2930 He shall not make himself unclean [H8691] H1 for his father H517 , or for his mother H251 , for his brother H269 , or for his sister H4194 , when they die H5145 : because the consecration H430 of his God H7218 is upon his head.

8 H3117 All the days H5145 of his separation H6918 he is holy H3068 unto the LORD.

9 H4191 And if any man [H8801] H4191 die [H8799] H6621 very H6597 suddenly H2930 by him, and he hath defiled [H8765] H7218 the head H5145 of his consecration H1548 ; then he shall shave [H8765] H7218 his head H3117 in the day H2893 of his cleansing H7637 , on the seventh H3117 day H1548 shall he shave [H8762] it.

10 H8066 And on the eighth H3117 day H935 he shall bring [H8686] H8147 two H8449 turtles H8147 , or two H1121 young H3123 pigeons H3548 , to the priest H6607 , to the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation:

11 H3548 And the priest H6213 shall offer [H8804] H259 the one H2403 for a sin offering H259 , and the other H5930 for a burnt offering H3722 , and make an atonement [H8765] H834 for him, for that H2398 he sinned [H8804] H5315 by the dead H6942 , and shall hallow [H8765] H7218 his head H3117 that same day.

12 H5144 And he shall consecrate [H8689] H3068 unto the LORD H3117 the days H5145 of his separation H935 , and shall bring [H8689] H3532 a lamb H1121 of the first H8141 year H817 for a trespass offering H3117 : but the days H7223 that were before H5307 shall be lost [H8799] H5145 , because his separation H2930 was defiled [H8804] .

13 H8451 And this is the law H5139 of the Nazarite H3117 , when H3117 the days H5145 of his separation H4390 are fulfilled [H8800] H935 : he shall be brought [H8686] H6607 unto the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation:

14 H7126 And he shall offer [H8689] H7133 his offering H3068 unto the LORD H259 , one H3532 he lamb H1121 of the first H8141 year H8549 without blemish H5930 for a burnt offering H259 , and one H3535 ewe lamb H1323 of the first H8141 year H8549 without blemish H2403 for a sin offering H259 , and one H352 ram H8549 without blemish H8002 for peace offerings,

15 H5536 And a basket H4682 of unleavened bread H2471 , cakes H5560 of fine flour H1101 mingled [H8803] H8081 with oil H7550 , and wafers H4682 of unleavened bread H4886 anointed [H8803] H8081 with oil H4503 , and their meat offering H5262 , and their drink offerings.

16 H3548 And the priest H7126 shall bring [H8689] H6440 them before H3068 the LORD H6213 , and shall offer [H8804] H2403 his sin offering H5930 , and his burnt offering:

17 H6213 And he shall offer [H8799] H352 the ram H2077 for a sacrifice H8002 of peace offerings H3068 unto the LORD H5536 , with the basket H4682 of unleavened bread H3548 : the priest H6213 shall offer [H8804] H4503 also his meat offering H5262 , and his drink offering.

18 H5139 And the Nazarite H1548 shall shave [H8765] H7218 the head H5145 of his separation H6607 at the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H3947 , and shall take [H8804] H8181 the hair H7218 of the head H5145 of his separation H5414 , and put [H8804] H784 it in the fire H2077 which is under the sacrifice H8002 of the peace offerings.

19 H3548 And the priest H3947 shall take [H8804] H1311 the sodden H2220 shoulder H352 of the ram H259 , and one H4682 unleavened H2471 cake H5536 out of the basket H259 , and one H4682 unleavened H7550 wafer H5414 , and shall put [H8804] H3709 them upon the hands H5139 of the Nazarite H310 , after H5145 the hair of his separation H1548 is shaven [H8692] :

20 H3548 And the priest H5130 shall wave [H8689] H8573 them for a wave offering H6440 before H3068 the LORD H6944 : this is holy H3548 for the priest H8573 , with the wave H2373 breast H8641 and heave H7785 shoulder H310 : and after H5139 that the Nazarite H8354 may drink [H8799] H3196 wine.

21 H8451 This is the law H5139 of the Nazarite H5087 who hath vowed [H8799] H7133 , and of his offering H3068 unto the LORD H5145 for his separation H3027 , beside that that his hand H5381 shall get [H8686] H6310 : according H5088 to the vow H5087 which he vowed [H8799] H6213 , so he must do [H8799] H8451 after the law H5145 of his separation.

22 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spake [H8762] H4872 unto Moses H559 , saying [H8800] ,

23 H1696 Speak [H8761] H175 unto Aaron H1121 and unto his sons H559 , saying [H8800] H3541 , On this wise H1288 ye shall bless [H8762] H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H559 , saying [H8800] unto them,

24 H3068 The LORD H1288 bless [H8762] H8104 thee, and keep [H8799] thee:

25 H3068 The LORD H6440 make his face H215 shine [H8686] H2603 upon thee, and be gracious [H8799] unto thee:

26 H3068 The LORD H5375 lift up [H8799] H6440 his countenance H7760 upon thee, and give [H8799] H7965 thee peace.

27 H7760 And they shall put [H8804] H8034 my name H1121 upon the children H3478 of Israel H1288 ; and I will bless [H8762] them.

YLT⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, ² `Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When a man or woman doeth singularly, by vowing a vow of a Nazarite, to be separate to Jehovah; ³ from wine and strong drink he doth keep separate; vinegar of wine, and vinegar of strong drink he doth not drink, and any juice of grapes he doth not drink, and grapes moist or dry he doth not eat; ⁴ all days of his separation, of anything which is made of the wine-vine, from kernels even unto husk, he doth not eat. ⁵ `All days of the vow of his separation a razor doth not pass over his head; till the fulness of the days which he doth separate to Jehovah he is holy; grown up hath the upper part of the hair of his head. ⁶ `All days of his keeping separate to Jehovah, near a dead person he doth not go; ⁷ for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister--he is not unclean for them at their death, for the separation of his God is on his head; ⁸ all days of his separation he is holy to Jehovah. ⁹ `And when the dead dieth beside him in an instant, suddenly, and he hath defiled the head of his separation, then he hath shaved his head in the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he doth shave it, ¹⁰ and on the eighth day he bringeth in two turtle-doves or two young pigeons unto the priest, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, ¹¹ and the priest hath prepared one for a sin-offering, and one for a burnt-offering, and hath made atonement for him, because of that which he hath sinned by the body, and he hath hallowed his head on that day; ¹² and he hath separated to Jehovah the days of his separation, and he hath brought in a lamb, a son of a year, for a guilt-offering, and the former days are fallen, for his separation hath been defiled. ¹³ `And this is the law of the Nazarite; in the day of the fulness of the days of his separation doth one bring him in unto the opening of the tent of meeting, ¹⁴ and he hath brought near his offering to Jehovah, one he-lamb, a son of a year, a perfect one, for a burnt-offering, and one she-lamb, a daughter of a year, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and one ram, a perfect one, for peace-offerings, ¹⁵ and a basket of unleavened things of flour, cakes mixed with oil, and thin cakes of unleavened things anointed with oil, and their present, and their libations. ¹⁶ `And the priest hath brought them near before Jehovah, and hath made his sin-offering and his burnt-offering; ¹⁷ and the ram he maketh a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, besides the basket of unleavened things; and the priest hath made its present and its libation. ¹⁸ `And the Nazarite hath shaved (at the opening of the tent of meeting) the head of his separation, and hath taken the hair of the head of his separation, and hath put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings. ¹⁹ `And the priest hath taken the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one thin unleavened cake, and hath put on the palms of the Nazarite after his shaving his separation; ²⁰ and the priest hath waved them, a wave-offering before Jehovah; it is holy to the priest, besides the breast of the wave-offering, and besides the leg of the heave-offering; and afterwards doth the Nazarite drink wine. ²¹ `This is the law of the Nazarite, who voweth his offering to Jehovah for his separation, apart from that which his hand attaineth; according to his vow which he voweth so he doth by the law of his separation.'
²² And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying, ²³ `Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, saying, Thus ye do bless the sons of Israel, saying to them, ²⁴ `Jehovah bless thee and keep thee; ²⁵ `Jehovah cause His face to shine upon thee, and favour thee; ²⁶ `Jehovah lift up His countenance upon thee, and appoint for thee--peace. ²⁷ `And they have put My name upon the sons of Israel, and I--I do bless them.'

ASV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, ² Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall make a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself unto Jehovah, ³ he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink; he shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any juice of grapes, nor eat fresh grapes or dried. ⁴ All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the grape-vine, from the kernels even to the husk. ⁵ All the days of his vow of separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in which he separateth himself unto Jehovah, he shall be holy; he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow long. ⁶ All the days that he separateth himself unto Jehovah he shall not come near to a dead body. ⁷ He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die; because his separation unto God is upon his head. ⁸ All the days of his separation he is holy unto Jehovah. ⁹ And if any man die very suddenly beside him, and he defile the head of his separation; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it. ¹⁰ And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting: ¹¹ and the priest shall offer one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make atonement for him, for that he sinned by reason of the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day. ¹² And he shall separate unto Jehovah the days of his separation, and shall bring a he-lamb a year old for a trespass-offering; but the former days shall be void, because his separation was defiled. ¹³ And this is the law of the Nazirite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tent of meeting: ¹⁴ and he shall offer his oblation unto Jehovah, one he-lamb a year old without blemish for a burnt-offering, and one ewe-lamb a year old without blemish for a sin-offering, and one ram without blemish for peace-offerings, ¹⁵ and a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their meal-offering, and their drink-offerings. ¹⁶ And the priest shall present them before Jehovah, and shall offer his sin-offering, and his burnt-offering: ¹⁷ and he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Jehovah, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also the meal-offering thereof, and the drink-offering thereof. ¹⁸ And the Nazirite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tent of meeting, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace-offerings. ¹⁹ And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazirite, after he hath shaven the head of his separation; ²⁰ and the priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah; this is holy for the priest, together with the wave-breast and heave-thigh: and after that the Nazirite may drink wine. ²¹ This is the law of the Nazirite who voweth, and of his oblation unto Jehovah for his separation, besides that which he is able to get: according to his vow which he voweth, so he must do after the law of his separation. ²² And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, ²³ Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel: ye shall say unto them, ²⁴ Jehovah bless thee, and keep thee: ²⁵ Jehovah make his face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: ²⁶ Jehovah lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. ²⁷ So shall they put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
