G4464 a rod G2596 according to G3624 the houses G3965 of the patrimony, G3844 from G3956 all G3588 G758 their rulers, G1473 G2596 according to G3624 the houses G3965 of their patrimony -- G1473 G1427 twelve G4464 rods. G2532 And G1538 for each G3588 [²the G3686 ³name G1924 ¹inscribe] G1909 upon G3588 G4464 his rod! G1473

3 G2532 And G3588 the G3686 name G* of Aaron G1924 you shall inscribe G1909 upon G3588 the G4464 rod G* of Levi. G1510.2.3 For it is G1063 G4464 [²rod G1520 ¹one] G2596 according to G5443 the tribe G3624 of the house G3965 of their patrimony. G1473

4 G2532 And G5087 you shall put G1473 them G1722 in G3588 the G4633 tent G3588 of the G3142 testimony, G2713 over against G3588 the G3142 testimony, G1722 in G3739 which G1097 I will be made known G1473 to you G1563 there.

5 G2532 And G1510.8.3 it shall be G3588 the G444 man G3739 who G302 ever G1586 I should choose G1473 him, G3588 G4464 his rod G1473 G1545.2 shall sprout forth. G2532 And G4014 I will remove G575 from G1473 you G3588 the G1112 grumbling G5207 of the sons G* of Israel, G3745 as much as G1473 they G1111 grumble G1909 against G1473 you.

6 G2532 And G2980 Moses spoke G* G3588 to the G5207 sons G* of Israel; G2532 and G1325 [⁴gave G1473 ⁵to him G3956 ¹all G3588 ²the G758 ³rulers] G1473 their G4464 rod -- G3588 to the G758 [²ruler G3588 G1520 ¹one] G4464 [²rod G1520 ¹one], G2596 according to G758 the ruler, G2596 according to G3624 the houses G3965 of their patrimony -- G1473 G1427 twelve G4464 rods. G2532 And G3588 the G4464 rod G* of Aaron G303.1 was in the midst G3588 G4464 of their rods. G1473

7 G2532 And G659 Moses put aside G* G3588 the G4464 rods G1725 before G2962 the lord G1722 in G3588 the G4633 tent G3588 of the G3142 testimony.

8 G2532 And G1096 it came to pass G3588 in the G1887 next day, G2532 that G1525 Moses entered G* G1722 into G3588 the G4633 tent G3588 of the G3142 testimony; G2532 and G2400 behold, G985 [⁴sprouted G3588 ¹the G4464 ²rod G* ³of Aaron] G1519 for G3624 the house G* of Levi; G2532 and G1627 it brought forth G986 a bud, G2532 and G1816.1 it blossomed G438 a flower, G2532 and G985 sprouted G2594.5 walnuts.

9 G2532 And G1627 Moses brought forth G* G3956 all G3588 the G4464 rods G575 from G4383 in front G2962 of the lord G4314 to G3956 all G5207 the sons G* of Israel. G2532 And G1492 they saw, G2532 and G2983 [²took G1538 ¹each] G3588 G4464 his rod. G1473

10 G2532 And G2036 the lord said G2962 G4314 to G* Moses, G659 Put aside G3588 the G4464 rod G* of Aaron G1799 before G3588 the G3142 testimony! G1519 for G1301.1 preservation G1519 for G4592 a sign G3588 to the G5207 sons G3588 of the G432.1 unhearing. G2532 And G3973 let cease G3588 G1112 their grumbling G1473 G575 of G1473 me! G2532 so G3766.2 in no way G599 they shall die.

11 G2532 And G4160 [⁴did G* ¹Moses G2532 ²and G* ³Aaron] G2505 as G4929 the lord gave orders G2962 G3588 to G* Moses -- G3779 so G4160 they did.

12 G2532 And G2036 [⁴said G3588 ¹the G5207 ²sons G* ³of Israel] G4314 to G* Moses, G3004 saying, G2400 Behold, G1814.4 we have been completely consumed, G622 we have been destroyed, G3956 we all G1473 G3890.1 have been uselessly consumed,

13 G3956 every G3588 G680 one touching G3588 the G4633 tent G2962 of the lord G599 dies. G2193 Until G1519 completion G5056 G599 should we die?

7 H4872 And Moses H3240 laid up [H8686] H4294 the rods H6440 before H3068 the LORD H168 in the tabernacle H5715 of witness.

8 H4283 And it came to pass, that on the morrow H4872 Moses H935 went [H8799] H168 into the tabernacle H5715 of witness H4294 ; and, behold, the rod H175 of Aaron H1004 for the house H3878 of Levi H6524 was budded [H8804] H3318 , and brought forth [H8686] H6525 buds H6692 , and bloomed [H8686] H6731 blossoms H1580 , and yielded [H8799] H8247 almonds.

9 H4872 And Moses H3318 brought out [H8686] H4294 all the rods H6440 from before H3068 the LORD H1121 unto all the children H3478 of Israel H7200 : and they looked [H8799] H3947 , and took [H8799] H376 every man H4294 his rod.

10 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799] H4872 unto Moses H7725 , Bring H175 Aaron's H4294 rod H7725 again [H8685] H6440 before H5715 the testimony H4931 , to be kept H226 for a token H4805 against the rebels H1121 H3615 ; and thou shalt quite take away [H8762] H8519 their murmurings H4191 from me, that they die [H8799] not.

11 H4872 And Moses H6213 did [H8799] H3068 so : as the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H6213 him, so did [H8804] he.

12 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H559 spake [H8799] H4872 unto Moses H559 , saying [H8800] H1478 , Behold, we die [H8804] H6 , we perish [H8804] H6 , we all perish [H8804] .

13 H7131 Whosoever cometh any thing near H4908 unto the tabernacle H3068 of the LORD H4191 shall die [H8799] H8552 : shall we be consumed [H8804] H1478 with dying [H8800] ?
